Fantastic place to hang out in the warm weather. Denver sure knows how to decorate their outdoor space and the shops and eateries are all fantastic in this area.

I absolutely love Larimer Square; it was a great place to visit during the pandemic, because it was closed off to vehicles. There are still numerous restaurants that have outdoor seating for your dining pleasure. It is a great place to people watch, making your meal all that much more enjoyable. It's a great central spot to bring your family to start a tour of downtown Denver with its great views and towering skyscrapers.

Walked around and visited a few stores here. It's very well kept and the flowers in the pots are beautiful and thriving. We sat and people watched for a bit and felt safe. It was very lively for a Wednesday around 1pm.

Closed to traffic at the end of Larimat Street. Victorian buildings house specialty boutiques and unique chef-driven restaurants with one-of-a-kind stores and distinctive fashion and exclusive offerings in this urban shopping and dining district.

Nice area, touristy. It was beautiful during the snow w/ the lights. Restaurants in this area are a bit pricey. I only patroned Tamayo. I had to check out this historic st since I was visiting from outta town.

Magical to see at night but despite the party decor it was somber there. There are dudes on rickshaw bikes pestering you to hire them. We didnt see anyplace there we wanted to eat or drink. Boutique shops.

A must stop and iconic spot in Lower Downtown with the picturesque Colorado State flags. The actual square is a block closed off to vehicular traffic on Larimer Street. Many of the businesses in the square are restaurants and bars with outdoor seating.

Denver got its start on Larimer Street between 14th and 15th in the late 1800s. The lively and busy city block of today is named Larimer Square for the pioneering General William Larimer, it was the city's first block, its first commercial district, home to its first residence and first city hall, and was the city's first designated historic district. Today, we can find nice restaurants, shops, a small shopping mall and many other attractions that make it a magnet for tourists and locals alike.

We went at noon time so maybe that's why not much activity going on (?). Mostly restaurants. Not much else to do.

Very close to our hotel, Hilton downtown Denver. Perhaps it is Monday and too early so the shops were still closed in the morning at 10:40 am.

Nice area to walk around, eat, shop and chill. The walkway with the flags hanging over is the most well known popular tourist spot of the area. There's a Mexican, a French restaurant, a pub bar, an ice cream store and bunch of specialty goods stores we noticed. But around the area there are many more places to go around. It was an okay experience for me, nothing really appeared massively impressive to me about the location.

Stopped by Larimer Square as a tourist attraction in Denver, but it was a small block with a few restaurants and shops that were half closed for Memorial Day. Some of the buildings had historical landmark plaques, but the buildings didn't look that impressive. We did enjoy happy hour at Tamayo which was good. The entree menus at all the restaurants definitely seemed pricey and not sure if the quality would substantiate that price, so I'll agree with another reviewer that it's a bit of a tourist trap. Only go if you have time and money to burn, but otherwise no loss if you skip it!

This was one of those Instagram versus Reality kinda spots. In pictures, I've seen this place look so cute with all of the Colorado flags across the market lights and I loved all the Pride flags but I was a little confused by what this place is. It's an area that's blocked off from traffic and has restaurants and shops. A lot of the places looked closed or under construction though. They had an outside bar so people could order drinks and carry them around. I'm not sure how far outside of the area that's allowed. We enjoyed dinner at Osteria Marco. I'm not sure this is quite the "tourist attraction" I had expected but it was a cute tiny area.

Not much to see. A few nice restaurants and bars. Only 1 block long. Needs more shops many were empty.

Place for food, coffee, drinks and more because there are no cars. I go to the Square to sit and people watch. Free music entertainment.

This neighborhood felt clean and upscale with plenty of great shopping and restaurants. When I asked ChatGPT to compare it to a San Diego neighborhood, it said Encinitas or La Jolla (if that reference point means anything to you). The area itself encompasses around 16 blocks filled with lots to do. We stayed at the Jacquard Hotel, which is part of the Marriott family. It was a lovely stay with a great lobby restaurant, Narrative and rooftop pool and bar. We enjoyed shopping at the mall as well as at the shops that line the streets. In terms of food, Quality Italian was our favorite for dinner and we enjoyed Little Man Ice Cream!

It's time for an update. Rather than focus on parking which continues to be a problem, let's focus…read moreon activity. The premier living and shopping area of Denver is absolutely going through gentrification. Very nice single-story and two-story retail buildings are being torn down in order to provide more office buildings, apartment buildings and condominiums as well as lots more retail shops, spas , beauty salons and pricey restaurants and bars. Of course, it adds and brings thousands of people to the area, but with little hope of avoiding congestion. The city continues to express its desire that people visit using public transportation, but, of course, there are no trains, subways, or, rapid transit of any make, style or kind. For those who dare to bicycle into Cherry Creek North, be sure that your health insurance is paid up. So what's Cherry Creek North starting to look like, you guessed it, a mini Metropolitan downtown. Yet, it remains the place to shop and eat and walk among lots and lots of beautiful people who seem to own lots of dogs. Once the next door Cherry Creek West Neighborhood becomes developed it will add several thousand more people into the area. It remains Beverly Hills without the large green frontages, mostly big homes and beautiful landscaping, but, instead, a visitors' delight with high end homes and pricey apartments and high end retail shopping.
