It's only been a year or so since Daiso finally came to Denver, and now I can't imagine not having…read moreone! They have such a great selection of storage, stationery, kitchen, home goods, and so much more, at a relatively affordable price. (Though things are much more expensive now than Daiso stuff used to be, when I visited one in California in 2016) They carry a lot of Sanrio merchandise of all kinds, which is perfect if you love Cinnamoroll like I do, Hello Kitty, Pochacco, Kuromi, My Melody, or Pompompurin. Less often you can find other less popular Sanrio characters like Keroppi, Hangyodon, or Badtzmaru. I especially like the cheap notebooks and memo pads/sticky notes, as well as the storage boxes and bins. They seem to have a storage container for almost any need! Stock rotates frequently as well, with seasonal items around Halloween, Christmas, spring, etc. Plus, the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable! My only gripe is that often the self check-out stations are out of order. But that's not really an issue because the cashiers are very efficient and if there's a line, it moves quickly. Very satisfied with this Daiso! (Yes, the Centennial location is larger, maybe a bit nicer, and offers a wider variety of stuff, including the Standard Products Line.) This location is always clean, well-organized and easy to navigate. A must-visit! I guarantee almost everyone can find at least one thing at Daiso for their needs or wants.

Came by for a soap dish and left with $40 worth of products. The store is more stocked than when I…read morewent approx a year ago. More beauty items and snacks. I wandered around first to see cute stuff - because why wouldn't you - and then had to focus and look for a soap dish as that's why I came. Resisted getting too many Hello Kitty and friends themed things. Didn't grab a basket so I wouldn't end up with too much. Also made a mental note that they have the car windshield shade styles I like. Associates busy stocking and not chatty so it felt like the stores in Korea. You may like that, you may not. I got what I came for and a few other little things so I'm happy with the visit. Parking can get crowded in the shared lot. Prices are ok.

My first "super target". Wow. I didn't really need much but will say the Starbucks staff was super…read morenice. It has kind of a weird layout so things I was looking for had a hard time finding. I usually use app but wasn't a long visit so probably that would help. Been a target shopper for a really really long time. They are good with changing with the times. Please this year don't put pride items somewhere back in the corner.

Have you ever walked into a grocery store, outside of a national emergency, and found the entire…read morefreezer section completely empty? Walk into the Northfield Target on any given day and that's the gamble you're taking. I shop at both Northfield and Glendale pretty regularly, and for whatever reason Northfield just does not run like Glendale. The freezers being mostly empty isn't some weird one-time thing. It happens all the time. There are also multiple products Target says this store carries, and usually even shows as "in stock," that I've tried to buy over and over and have literally never even seen on the shelf (and the Shipt drivers cannot find either). I've gotten to the point where I don't really trust the inventory in the app for this location anymore. So Sunday I figured I'd call before driving over to see if they actually had any frozen food. Apparently that's not an option either. I called eight times between 5:58 and 6:12 PM. Each time I let it ring for 1 to 2 minutes until the call eventually disconnected on its own. Nobody answered a single call. I'm attaching the screenshot because eight calls to an open Target in 14 minutes without one person picking up the phone is kind of insane. Order Pickup is the same kind of experience. I've stood in the pickup area for 10+ minutes with nobody there to help while employees are walking around, talking to each other, etc. I understand being short staffed. I understand corporate cutting payroll. What I don't understand is how nobody notices a customer has been standing at Order Pickup for 10 minutes, or a phone has been ringing repeatedly, or that entire sections of grocery are routinely empty. And I'm not expecting every employee to somehow compensate for Target cutting payroll. Leadership still has to run the store with the resources they have, set expectations and hold people accountable. Someone has to answer the phone. Someone has to be paying attention to Order Pickup. Someone has to notice when inventory is this consistently bad. Maybe I sound like a cranky millennial who has been running retail businesses for too long, but I know Target isn't paying people to stand around and chat while multiple customers are standing there looking around, waiting for someone to help them. Being tightly staffed is one thing. Having employees available and nobody stepping in is something else. Let's cross train. Maybe there are things happening behind the scenes that customers don't know about, but after enough visits I genuinely wonder what the leadership issue is at this particular location. Glendale doesn't operate like this, which is why I have a hard time just chalking it up to Target being Target. Why can Glendale manage to run like a Target and Northfield can't?
