The people working there are incredibly nice and very helpful which is remarkable how many people get in and how demanding some customers can be. Often the boxes are sealed with a few, not being fully labeled. If you'd like to check inside, take the box to the front counter and they'll help you look inside. Phenomenal staff. Absolutely worth the drive. Parking can be a challenge, but it's worth walking a couple blocks.

Once upon a time, one of my favorite hidden gems of Chula Vista has become a regular priced store. The selection for the most part still varies... but they always have shoes, clothing, household items, bedding amd furniture along with holiday or seasonal items. The back section inside is now blocked, it use to house more furniture. The warehouse is located next door... unfortunately im not sure if they are just relaxing in times... but I've been here right at opening and nothing is set up, until you are walking in and they are bringing stuff out. So a little inconvenient when your coming to look, shop and leave... the setup remains the same as they have clothing bins for you to rummage through. There is always a $1 basket or bin of clothes available. Discounted shoes and household items. I've never had bad customer service here, but as usual the prices pretty much match normal store prices now. Not sure if they are not getting much of a deal on their end or just raising the prices regardless. Even with the discounts, some items its not worth it and definitely check expiration dates on food items. If you have time to rummage through or price check, this place could be for you. Most of my visits I've left empty handed and gone to GTM, but other times I've found some bargains still. Coming into 2026, I hope they remain in business. You are not allowed to open boxes in the bin but at a separate area designated for opening and reclosing boxes. Friday is when the shipment arrives $10, Saturday is replenished $8, Sunday $6, Monday $4, Tuesday $2 and Wednesday $1, with Thursday being closed. My very first experience was very close to opening at 10am on Friday, when stock is replenished. Oh man oh man, make way make way. It is a frenzy, don't be alarmed when you hear the alarm. Get your running shoes on (but don't run) to the back where employees bring out carts of new stuff to restock. I can assume that this happens once an hour (as I was there right when it happened and when I was about to leave). Steal deals, let me tell you. When you first walk in, there is an "opening station" to your left... however, there is no respect... most people shopping who open up the packages and items fall out. Then they move all. I witnessed many employees going around and re-tapping boxes. During this visit, I was able to score a gaming keyboard and mouse for $10 (amazon regular $28), a fan (amazon regular for $48.99) for $15 in the box, new. Visit #2 was a Monday.... slim pickings BUT about half of the first wooden bin is clothes. I was able to grab 2 soap automatic rechargeable and mounted soap dispensers for $4 each, a pretty cool beer/water dispenser for the fridge for $4, and picked up another fan for $15! Visit #3 was a Saturday, today. I had no idea they replenished on Saturday but happy. This time, I brought reinforcements, hubby, and son. Picked up 2 PS4 remotes, a trackball mouse, Oral-B toothbrushes, a shaving kit, and so much more. It was a good thrilling and exciting rummage. Takeaways - the downfall is that not all boxes have labels. Some boxes end up missing items because disrespectful customers do not follow the rules or have patience to look at the box. Items on the side and back walls, as well as the front store has different prices. Definitely look up the item on the amazon website... there is some steal deals.
