This is a larger Dollar Tree when compared to others. They have a pretty big selection of items but the store is very dirty. There are items everywhere. I had a hard time finding items I was looking for and had to walk around several times to make sure I wasn't passing what I was looking for. There were only 2 cashiers and I got in the slow line. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. Dollar Tree 8330 Pineville-Matthews Rd Charlotte, NC 28226 Sunday January 3, 2020 2pm (Review 464 overall, 8 of 2021)

Aisle flooded

Staff confined themselves to the registers such that you couldn't easily ask them questions about the products. The back of the store was completely neglected with boxes completely flooding an aisle and shelves were sparsely stocked. You'd think that an exponential increase in prices would raise quality... I guess not! Avoid this place like the plague.

Everything really is a dollar (though some things are two for a dollar). I thought I might take a browse and see what there was and I was amazed. I somehow managed to pick up $7 worth of stuff that I actually needed for my place. Stuff that would have been twice or three times the price at the local Wal-Mart. If you're looking to save a few bucks, Dollar Tree rocks!

The lights partially put on their name but when everything's a Dollar - who cares ?

She stated to me there should not be a problem to leave them with her and I must not have to use the bathroom. I recently visited this Nordstrom Rack location after moving to Charlotte, and overall, it was a…read moresolid experience. Nordstrom Rack has always been one of my favorite places to shop. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The store was very well stocked and clean. You didn't see much on the ground from items knocked down. The items I found were priced very well. No complaints. There was so much variety here that you could spend a lot of time in this store. Upon checking out, I was greeted by a young lady. She asked me about opening a store credit card and I told her no thank you. Her demeanor changed, lol! I mean I'm sorry that I don't shop here often enough but also store credit cards are too limiting! But anywho...nice experience here and I would return.

I loved hitting the store when I traveled to big cities up until Charlotte got a few H&Ms of its own. Most importantly, the stuff was always affordable. I guess not much has changed with the store. The clothes are still very affordable - $5-8 for a tee in about any color imaginable. I guess they're still on the cutting edge of fashion but I just don't care for what's considered popular fashion these days. I actually wore oversized, stretched-out t-shirts a lot back in my high school days. Was I cool then? No. And it's still not cool now. Other stuff is basic as it comes on the men's side. Jeans, pants, business casual looking stuff - jackets, slacks and button downs. Denim jackets, interesting underwear and their sock collection seems to be best of all. There is also a handful of accessories, mostly sunglasses. But I get sunglasses for free about anywhere these days. I think we ought to be on the cusp of a men's clothes revolution in the world. Our options are so restricted and plain. I mean, you can only get a t-shirt in so many colors before you come full circle. Until I see a style that appeals to me on the forefront again, I'll probably steer clear of H&M.

This location has a nice shoe selection, as well as costume jewelry selection.

And so here's Flippin Jays who manages to get a truckload of chest freezers in an assortment of sizes. I wanted one and they wanted to sell one. The purchase process could have been smoother but I'm very forgiving here. Six feet of "social distancing" doesn't work well when you have a bunch of folks who want something that's in short supply. They did as well as they could under the circumstances and everyone who was there at the store when it opened got their purchase, though maybe not in the order they had originally queued up. That's a minor ding. And speaking of minor ding, this is "scratch and dent." My chest freezer was clearly used but it's operational, guaranteed for 90 days and I'm sure some "goo gone" will get rid of the marks on it. The folks did not want to be dealing with the public today. Definitely not a bunch of people who were about a minute away from an actual riot. But they did pretty well keeping things as organized as they could and selling what people wanted to buy They loaded it into my vehicle for me, which was awesome service.
