I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The store was very well stocked and clean. You didn't see much on the ground from items knocked down. The items I found were priced very well. No complaints. There was so much variety here that you could spend a lot of time in this store. Upon checking out, I was greeted by a young lady. She asked me about opening a store credit card and I told her no thank you. Her demeanor changed, lol! I mean I'm sorry that I don't shop here often enough but also store credit cards are too limiting! But anywho...nice experience here and I would return.

The weather was sketchy so I didn't think it would be too crowded but that was a bad call. The parking spaces are WAY too small! Larger SUV's taking two spaces & you can't blame them. I got to the store & made the exchange & got out of there PDQ!

Review for Charlotte Premium Outlets…read more After relocating to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've kept my same philosophy about shopping: retail prices are optional if you're willing to do a little homework. I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

I've been to RH Charlotte twice, both for my sister's birthday celebration in 2021 and now in 2023…read more RH is a furniture store but they had the right idea to add a restaurant to the rooftop. When you enter, you walk right in the showroom on the ground floor and then take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. The stairwell is gorgeous and makes for a great photo op. However, they have a no flash rule and you can't sit on the furniture in the showroom. The first time we went, although we had a reservation for 7:30pm, they didn't sit us until 7:50pm because our table wasn't ready. We exercised patience throughout the ordeal and they weren't really apologetic which was off-putting. We did have a good time and I got the lobster roll but the service was sub-par. This time around, the service was phenomenal. Our waitress was patient, attentive and pretty funny. She engaged with us the whole time and didn't mess up any orders. I only got a salad, which I liked, and our whole table enjoyed their meal. Safe to say this second experience was the better of the two across the board. RH is a great time so if you haven't been, make it a point to go.

I ordered two French Contemporary Closed Nightstands from RH. The first delivery arrived in a shipping box with a severely damaged corner that was torn open. Given the obvious condition of the packaging, common sense would have been to inspect the nightstands before they were loaded for delivery. Instead, they arrived with damage, including dented corners, lifted veneer with protective packing foam embedded in the wood, finish damage, and other cosmetic defects. RH replaced the nightstands and assured me the new pieces would be thoroughly inspected before shipment. The second delivery even arrived with orange inspection tape indicating the cartons had been inspected. Despite that, the replacement nightstands still arrived with many of the same issues, including dented corners, manufacturing and finish defects, inconsistent veneer, and cosmetic damage. After two unsuccessful deliveries, the nightstands are now out of stock, leaving me to wait another two to three months for replacements. This delay is entirely the result of repeated quality control failures and has been incredibly frustrating. To RH's credit, Customer Experience acknowledged that the inspection process was not handled properly and admitted that getting the items out quickly was prioritized over ensuring the nightstands had been adequately inspected. They also refunded my $299 handling fee, which I appreciate, although I believe that was the minimum appropriate accommodation given the circumstances. I expected much stronger quality control, better handling procedures, and more consistent execution. Before this experience, I was seriously considering purchasing additional RH furniture for my living room, dining room, and bedrooms. After two failed deliveries, however, I'm no longer confident making that level of investment until RH demonstrates more consistent quality control and delivery standards. I remain hopeful that the replacement nightstands will arrive in the condition they should have from the beginning, but after this experience, my confidence has understandably been shaken.
