From the store itself being in shambles to the complete and utter lack of customer service, six weeks later I still have vivid memories of how far Target has fallen from when I worked at the company. We needed something unlocked in Electronics and despite being in the area for over 10 minutes, there wasn't anyone around and there were no buttons to push to ask for assistance and instead had to find someone in another area who could not have been less interested in assisting us in connecting us with the person that could unlock this item. I would try a Walmart in this area before going to this Target again. read more

I discovered Target's curbside pickup back in October and that's how we've been getting our groceries ever since. We've tried curbside and/or delivery groceries from many different stores. Between Amazon, Walmart, Harris Teeter, and Publix, none of them measure up to Target. You don't have to schedule a pickup time. You just order and it will be ready within 4 hours. It's usually ready within 1-2 hours though. You have until the end of the next day to pick it up. My favorite part is that they don't have an order minimum. You can buy one thing for $2 and still do curbside pickup. There is also no fee which is really nice. Their app is really easy to use. I like that they don't make you roll down your window, you just show your code on the app. We're fully vaccinated now, but we still usually order our groceries from Target for curbside pickup because it's more convenient than going into a grocery store. Their selection isn't quite as good as a grocery store, but it has gotten a lot better and they have most things we need. If you want curbside groceries (or anything else Target sells), check it out! read more

This target most of the time doesn't have the products we need and we have to either ship them or travel further to another location. The drive up service is very slow and understaffed. The value that target has is usually better than some grocery stores so that's a plus. But please do better. Thanks. read more

Kinda disappointed Starbucks started closing early and they said they couldn't make more coffee which is insane to me because we got there an hour before they were supposed to close which they close at 8pm but we got there at 7. They said they had already cleaned their blender so they "couldn't use it anymore" Target do better. I can recall another day I was there at least 30 minutes before closing and I still got my coffee. The staff that was assigned to work today May 21, 2022 at 7pm needs to do better. You are losing money just by being lazy to make coffee just to leave on time. Dear Target, I was perusing around the candle isle, distraught and hungry for my scent, looking for a birthday gift for my disabled mother. The isle contains really unique and inspiring candles with different zodiac signs and she is very into zodiac signs. We were together and we looked for candles together, she's sensitive and when the only zodiac candle they didn't have was hers, she got deeply depressed and felt left out. My rating is 3.5 stars. During the first few hours of my arriving in Charlotte, I visited Bank of America to withdraw some money. I then spotted this Target nearby and decided to drop by. I didn't take any photos at the store because my cell phone had died. I had visited a CVS before having lunch and got a decent car charger with a USB port. I used it after my trip to this Target. This store is actually a Super Target. It has everything you'd expect from the store. The super part is the supermarket. I got my fix looking at food items, including cookies and cereal. The variety was incredible. The produce looked fresh and amazing. I was happy. I used to buy t-shirts and blouses here. I am pretty content with my wardrobe these days that I didn't buy any during this trip. I also like Target's electronics section. I did a bit of browsing, as I had an hour before I had to pick up my friend at the bus station. I was pleased to set foot in a Target store again. This one is clean and bright. If I am back here again, I'd spend more time browsing and making purchases without being crunched for time. (194) read more

They seem to run out of everything I ever pop in for 1) no Janelle Monae Dirty computer cd, 2) no spicy pickles, 3) no clementine Izze's in the Glass 4pk but they've got 20 Pomegranate Izze's on hand. Either way, c'est la vía. But with the traffic, some good folks that provide great service then just some okay folks with bleh service ..they have earned 2.5 stars but I'm generous with the curve. 3 stars it is. Then after the shelves are either empty or completely destroyed (don't go into the bra dept!) you have to get in one of only TWO lanes if you have more than 10 items bc they now have "restrictions" on self checkout lanes. Bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned for days. And seriously no one cared when I spoke up. read more

For the 200th review!!!!!!! Not expecting it would be Target, but a great experience warrants it! I normally don't really see the need to rate the world of Targets, Walmarts, etc. as you really know what you are going to get when you go to each of those stores. The main reason why I am changing that thought is the exceptional service we received last month. This is our normal Target and we usually get good service any time we go. Last month I happened to just be walking around the Target and noticed they had their grills (what was left of them) on clearance. Called my husband up since I knew he was looking for a new one and saw that they had a large grill for 50% off. He met me a Target right away and began measuring it (only had the display one left) to see if it would fit in my small SUV. We knew right away it would not work. In comes the Target employee (I believe her name was Heather), but she asks if we need any help and we told her our circumstance - want the grill but it looks like it will not fit. She said she would grab her tools and take off one side of the grill to make it work. Well she does that, tries to lift in in the back of my suv with my husband, and it does not fit. So then she takes off the other side. Again lifts it up with my husband and it fits! She also gave us a bag to put the loose screws in as well as some ties to tie up the hood so it does not open and close as I drive home. All I can say, this was unexpected, but very welcomed service by Heather. Again, we get good service at Target, but this was above and beyond, and we are happy we have a new grill! read more

Target is advertising that they're offering 10% off for military this weekend. I thought, cool, I'll grab a few cute outfits for my baby. I went to checkout and handed them my military ID for the discount and was told the only way they can honor the discount is for me to download their app, create and account and enter my military credentials into their app. Yeah, like I'm going to do that with a 1 year old in the cart and a line behind me. Just another example of a scummy attempt to appear to support the military around a holiday without actually having to do so. I don't even care about the money, I'm just offended by the false advertising. read more

I love it, I definitely will be coming back soon, I came to get some tbhk manga, and surprisingly the tbhk manga section was fully stocked! I had gotten volume 3, 4 and 5. They were not as pricey as expected. Volume 4 and 5 are pretty hard to get and we're still only 10.40! I recommend if ever manga hunting, location for manga was a pretty quick find, there's multiple toys, manga, etc, was pricey for all manga, but was expected, and I'd recommend when looking for certain items. read more

This is one of my favorite Targets! I could really go crazy in here and it's very hard not to. The store is huge and they literally have everything your could possibly need! The only disappointment I had was that they didn't sell HoneyPot feminine products. Other targets have them and the feminine product section is large enough to have it but they don't. On the positive side I was able to easily get distracted by the $1 section near the entrance and scored essential oils for my oil diffuser for $3!!! Essential oils are expensive! You can't even get it that cheap at walmart! I also love the womens clothing section. They offer a large variety of swimwear. They are so have a section with great Panther, Knights, Tarheel, and Clemson gear of all sorts! I often go here on my lunch when I need things instead of going to the one that's close to my home. read more

I've been coming to this target for a few years now - before I was Yelping, even - and it has remained consistently good despite solid grocery competition nearby from a really good Harris Teeter. The produce department is excellent, the meats are great, the place is always bright and clean, it's very rare that stuff is out of stock and the carts are always perfect. What's not to love? Why shop anywhere else? I have had some issues with the Pharmacy, so for that we go to Teeter. read more

The family and I are moving to the Fort Mill/Tega Cay area soon and as we have been house hunting, I placed an online Target order. The closest Target that had all the items I was looking for was this location. Upon walking into Heaven's Gate I was greeted by selection of college apparel which was quite welcoming to see both North and South Carolina schools represented. (A previous Target in Rock Hill, SC only had Clemson apparel which I found upsetting.) BF and I walked around to see what made this Target so super besides looking so massive outside and the walkway in the parking lot leading into the store that made us feel significant. (We don't have super Targets where we are moving from in Charleston.) There was definitely more selection (aisles) in the store and the grocery section was massive from what I'm used to seeing. This target is basically a one stop shop! I can see myself getting lost in here for a few hours on multiple occasions in the future. read more

Target in Rivergate is a SUPER one... I don't really go for the grocery side of the store, but I have been here for everything else Target. Everything in this store is big... and you spend a lot of time walking for just a couple items (I usually just try to run in and out without getting a shopping cart), but I can totally see someone using this place as a one stop shop for everything after spending a couple hours searching for all your items on your list. Just like other Targets, this one has a Starbucks and a target snack shop.... obviously this one would need it if you spend a good chunk of your day here. This store is kept pretty tidy and organized. I also find it interesting that if you come in from the left side entrance, the electronics section is immediately there. I usually get roped in, but I usually can avoid this in other Targets since most electronics/entertainment sections are in the back middle of the store. Probably the downside of the Rivergate shopping center is that the Target is located "in the back" if you are coming from the Tryon entrance of the shopping center.... So driving through some parking lots, a round-about-oval, and 3 near miss accidents with either pedestrians or cars, you will make it into the store. read more

I'm tired of trying to find food that normally as a former Californian, New Yorker or New Jerseyian, I could find in the frozen foods or grocery shelves of my former stores. My home-cook persona is deeply unsatisfied with how this store and nearby area stores are stocked. So much floor space and so little variety. DIVERSIFY!!!! Get with it Target. I'm a grown up. I eat diverse food. I cook. I've traveled. Get with the diversity that's expanding the city of Charlotte! If I want shelled edamame then I should be able to find it - at minimum in the most expensive brand within your freezer. If I want King Arthur Flour, and it's carried by Target Nation-wide, then I should be able to find it on your shelf and it shouldn't be an issue to find it here. -- I'm not asking for Italian Triple 000 flour for Pizza baking. I am asking for white whole wheat flour. If I want whole milk yogurt, then I should be able to find this cooking staple and not have to purchase plain non-fat yogurt by the quart when I need a cup. If I want pearl couscous, not the other couscous, then I should be able to find it in a bag on your shelf. If I want a jalepeno... then should be able to find one in your produce dept. come on a jalepeno pepper...! You don't have it? How long has the United States lived next door to Mexico? And finally-- how long will it be until your store does some diversity training at the regional or corporate level? I'm Irish and an educator and I can't imagine how sad it must be to young children of color running into this store and not finding their families' foods on your shelves. read more

Out in the Steele Creek area for a one year old birthday party & we needed to pick up a gift...enter my favorite store, Target! As others mentioned, it's a Super Target, which is a major plus for the area. The layout of the store is nice, you obviously have the grocery side separate from the "general goods" side. I give this target five stars today because of the speed of my return. I did have to wait in line a while to get up to the register but once I was there it was lighting fast. This is the worst Target I've ever been to! The clothing section in every area is absolutely trashed. It's like someone just dumped boxes of clothes everywhere, mixed them up, and didn't want to hang them up. You can't even steer a shopping cart around without running over clothes on the floor. Nothing is folded and your digging through clothes as if you're at a goodwill or something. So bad! read more

I am so glad that we have a super target nearby! Every time I visit it is always clean and pretty organized for the amount of traffic that it gets. The parking lot is well-kept, and the employees are polite. If you have issues with finding frozen items in the grocery section, there are two local grocery stores catty corner to this location. I love having a target in Rivergate. read more

I believe that I have shopped this Target once or twice before but didn't review it. I only went there for a specific item since the app stated that it was in stock. Online stated that there were several in stock, but when I arrived, only one was there. So I was very upset as this target is about 25 minutes away from my home. I planned to stock up with about three of these items and there was a bonus...it was on clearance!!! I ended up getting another item in their product line which was slightly on sale to make up for it. I approached the self service checkout line and began scanning my items. Both items rang up at their original price...yet another problem. The only reason I am giving this store 4 stars is because of their employee. The gentleman that was working, I wish I knew his name, was awesome. He is easy to spot as he is about 6'5" and a big guy. But he was so helpful. He changed the price of my items based on the app, showed me how to scan items on the app, and was really nice in the process. If management reads this, please let him know how helpful he was. read more

I have no choice but to transfer everything over to CVS after they brought out Target Pharmacy. Their pro is their online app. Where I can easily access my meds history or needed refills at my finger tips. However, here's the cons! I hate their bottles. It's those old fashioned bottle where it's supposed to be child proof but all honestly it's also adult proof. I hate the damn thing.. 2nd, they call you non stop to tell you about your seasonal meds:flu shots, etc. I can't find how to stop those calls. I can get those calls once to 2x a day. And the calls and texts to say my prescriptions are ready to be pick up. It all can get a bit up after awhile. Again, because it's in Target where I do my shopping. And I'm familiar with the staffs. I will deal. I just wish I can tell someone from CVS corp a piece of my mind., read more

I've always had really good service here. Clean organized. Like other stores they could have more cashiers at times but that's ok. The three stars are because I called to see if someone could write happy birthday on a generic cake and the person told me I am going out of town tomorrow and working a half day so we won't be able to do that for you. Umm I've never heard that in all my life. And I'm from Minneapolis, the home of Target. I guess staffing is short in the bakery and they don't need business in that department. read more

I love the organization in this store... It's not hard to find anything and the clearance racks are fabulous! Everything is where it's supposed to be and that can be incredibly hard when you're dealing with a place where people are constantly picking up and putting down things... The cashiers are always smiling and helpful... I absolutely adore the deli employees... They are knowledgeable about their products and that is priceless... I hate it when you ask a person something about what they're selling and they have no idea... lol This layout is a little different than the regular Target stores, so I'm always getting turned around... lol Everyone is more than willing to help direct me to where I need to go... The Best Super Target! This Target has everything from groceries to clothes to household items. What more can you ask for? I had the opportunity to visit this location while I was in Charlotte this past Labor day weekend and I was definitely impressed. This store was well organized and very clean, you're not going to find that in many other cities (mine included). The cashiers were very friendly and helpful so much so that I applied for the Target Red debit card and I can't wait to use it. I look forward to shopping here again on the near future! read more

Target greater than Walmart ANY day and that's a fact! I love target and this location is a super target!! That means they have a full grocery, eye center, minute clinic and, of course, a Starbucks! This location has always been clean and I always seem to walk out of the store with something- especially since I'm a sucker for their clothing too. I've done grocery shopping here once before. The selection is good, but I prefer the grocery store instead. If you need to get in and get out this target is your spot! read more

During Black Friday, Target/Walmart have a deal buy an iPhone 8 or plus receive a $250/$300 gift card. Target service was the worst customer service I've ever encountered. They don't give a crap about you. I had an appointment at 2pm at Target for an iPhone activation and I got my phone at 6pm. We came in at 2pm, had my phone ready to be after 3 people. I told them I'm going to somewhere and will come back later. The guy told me the waiting will be 1-2 hours and I was okay with that. Apparently they never mention "wait in line" and I had to wait for 4 hours because I didn't wait in line when they wrote my name on a sticky note and stuck it on the iPhone 8 Plus. This is 2000 fucking 17 and they are so unorganized. They could have people name on the list instead of making people waiting in line. Which they never mention it to me. They saw me standing outside the line and never tell us to get in line for the phone activation. THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT Now compare this to Walmart, which give out $300 gift card. I had an appointment at 10 the next day with them for an iPhone X. Came in and the lady wrote my name on the iPhone box. She told me I will be next right after this lady in front of me. I went to buy groceries and came back. I saw the line so I waited. This lady called my name and I just came to her and active the phone. WALMART USED PEOPLE NAME ON THE PHONE AS THEIR LIST INSTEAD OF MAKING PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE. I'm selling the gift card on Craigslist btw. read more
