Enter Home Goods. I've heard tell Home Goods was the place to go to when you want to go on a treasure hunt. It may be September but this place was packed to the gills with Halloween goods and I'm all about it. Things you don't think you would ever want, Home Goods will have it. Did I need pumpkin-shaped stoneware to bake brie? No. But did I get it? Yes. Because why not embrace some whimsy in your life? Place is adorable and most items are affordable. The dressing room doors were wide open when I went in and I didn't see the sign on the inside of the door until I had already undressed. Employee rapped on the door to ask how many items I had. I told her a dozen, she said only 6! and asked me to give her the ones I didn't want. So on the spot, I re-dressed to open the door and hand her items. Later, I was on the other side of the store when she yelled MAM, are these your clothes in the dressing room? They weren't. I had mine in a cart or had hung any leftovers on the return rack. When I went back to the dressing room a 2nd time, she told me to put my cart in a certain spot, then she moved it further after I went in the dressing room! When I checked out at the register, she approached the counter and turned attendants attention to her, as a result he had his back to me and carried on a conversation about items left on the back shelf ; a yellow ticket and employee purchase. I stood there waiting for him to continue ringing up my items and then as it turned out, he forgot to ring up my 2 pairs of shoes after I had already paid and needed to do another transaction, (because he had been distracted). When I left she called out, Bye mam, thanks for coming in, have a nice day! I just felt harassed by this employee. I spent $200 there today but I won't shop there again if I see that she's on duty.

Both times I had interactions with him he made me feel awkward, as if I was inconveniencing him by asking him a question. I'm a not sure if he thought I was possibly shop lifting but why would I be returning to your store for a second time in a row, first time spending around $64.00 and the second over $120.00? I have plenty of money and why would someone shoplift from a Goodwill? The prices are already a steal an the money goes to support great things. I often donate to Goodwill myself.
