I bought something with my debit card and the girl swiped my card twice and when I asked if she just charged me twice she said, "no I cancelled the first transaction". I pulled up my account statement right there and showed her the double charge and she told me one will drop off and if it does charge twice to come back in for a refund. Well what do you know? I was charged twice. When I went back in the girl had to call the "owner" who requested her to take a picture of my online bank statement with her personal cell phone before I could get my refund. Real professional. If I do decide to ever go back, I definitely will be bringing cash with me.

It easily causes much frustration and could use an investment of funds to make the flow better. I imagine that there are multiple accidents. Though, I can only complain so much since parking is free. Other areas charge for parking or have packing structures, so at least you aren't dealing with that. Despite the parking lot frustration, I find myself frequenting multiple businesses whether on the East side or the West side of the shopping center. The West has the following that I frequent due to value of service and selection of product: Massage Envy, LoAnn's Nails, Cold Stone Creamery, Panera, and Verizon. Tempe Marketplace combines the outer area that has "Big Box" retailers like Target and Best Buy and…read morea number of restaurants with this central area called "The District". The District is an outdoor mall area that has a number of smaller shops, eateries and a Harkins Theatre. I live just miles from this area and make several stops here each week. I mostly come here to go to the movies or to the bookstore. Coming to Tempe Marketplace makes for a nice day and I enjoy all of the services that they have to offer. One of my favorite things about the District area is that they will decorate for the holidays. During Christmas, they will set up a very large Christmas tree and hang lights up all over the walking areas. They have showcased art exhibits like floating umbrellas during the summer months to draw in people. The District also has a stage where they will have live music and at times will host concerts. There are splash pads for the kids to enjoy when it gets hot out and fireplaces for the colder evenings. I have even done a one mile Kilt run through the District. It is nice that going to the mall has evolved to more than just shopping and has lots more to offer.
