I'm guessing they buy Amazon pallets or excess store inventory because once something sells out, you might never see it in stock again. I went in looking for an instant pot as I had seen them posted on their FB page. The people in the store sometimes will give you a discount on the advertised price and sometimes will negotiate. They also have a location on W 38th and one on the East side but I haven't been to the Eastside location. I love their deals and while you can return defective products, you'll get in store credit and not a cash refund so that's something to keep in mind.

This HomeGoods feels small. It feels quite a bit smaller than Castleton, though it's interior design is quite similar. I must admit that I have mixed feeling about HomeGoods. There's no denying the good prices on home decor and necessities, however, the shopping experience is almost universally a mid-range experience for me. I sure don't consider it wheelchair friendly, though it meets ADA (which is a bare minimum standard). There's accessible parking out front. The doors are automatic and easily workable. That's really where accessibility ends. The carts are outside the store, a bit of a hassle. The store has fairly narrow aisles and is incredibly cluttered. While I realize not every store is made for a relaxed shopping experience, I've always felt like I spend more in the places where I feel comfortable. I don't feel comfortable here and had at least five aisles I couldn't access in my wheelchair either because of other people, employees, or items blocking the path. I found the selection here paltry at best. Every item I looked at, I ended up finding a handful of options. I found nothing I wanted and was incredibly disappointed with the selection - yes, the prices were good on those items. The service lines are always long here and employees pace themselves as if they're still learning how to do the job. The employees are more functional than friendly. There's literally nothing that makes me want to return. That said, I can't say it was awful. It wasn't. It was just average. The prices are good. The layout is easy to understand. It works. I just think it could be so much better. I left quickly. I left without purchasing. I can't fathom a reason to return.

But this store, when I visited, was a mess. Just things everywhere. There are shelves of open boxes containing everything from solar garden lights to personal hibachis to bath mats to electric can openers. There are ceramic coffee creamer containers and basketballs and safes and 100-packs of individually wrapped slime blobs shaped like aliens. And it's all everywhere, all at once. Now, I love visiting a store with lots of stuff everywhere, but this place looked like it had been attacked. Maybe it's because I visited at the end of the day? Your experience might be different from mine if you visit on a different day at a different time. For instance, the shoe area had single shoes hanging out with pairs of shoes that looked like they had been worn by customers who came in and decided they didn't want their shoes anymore, and so they just put on the shelf. Next to this was clothing that was hung up on a rack, but there was no rhyme or reason to the organization. Swim suits with football padding with pajama pants with toddler outfits. The clothing area is where I decided to just let go and let God, but then I looked at the prices and almost laughed out loud. Not Bulldog Liquidators trying to sell me a Target blouse for $10! Anyway. They do have a lot of furniture here, which I think is the big draw. I saw some decent bureaus and tables and things. Also some ottomans and a nice gaming chair that I almost considered. After taking to some people who like Bulldog Liquidators, I think people come here to get discounted food and health/hygiene supplies, like pads and diapers. They will sell open packages of pads that have just one pad removed at a steep discount. That's nice. But I think for the uninitiated, Bulldog is just a mess, and I'd rather spend a couple of dollars more to shop at a place that is more organized. And the prices are not really discounted, compared to the quality of items that are in the store.

I was limited by what could be hauled in my car this time, but I found a very cute gray velvet swivel chair for my bedroom which was just the right size. It was a real bargain at 30% off! The kind clerks also helped me to find a console table I'd been eyeing on their page. I decided on just the chair during this visit (although it was a difficult)! Most of their business is done via their website which they are constantly updating when a new truck arrives. You can view pictures of the items and its dimensions. It you find something you like, simply pay for it online, and pick up during their business hours Thursday-Saturday. They do allow in store shopping while open as well. They receive a variety of items for your home such as furniture, decor accessories, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, and window treatments. Highly recommend following them on social media as well because they do live videos showcasing new items or announcing sales. I've bought a few items from them and will surely buy more in the future. This is a very busy Target location, but I have recently discovered that they have free curbside…read morepickup with no minimum order. It is very easy to order groceries or other merchandise online for curbside pickup. Usually I receive an email in less than an hour stating that my order is ready. There are more than 20 parking spaces reserved for pickup. Employees bring your order out quickly as soon as you park and check in on the app or email. I appreciate that there is no minimum order, as I often need just a few items. Other stores require $35 or more for free pickup. I do enjoy shopping inside occasionally when I have the time. But the curbside pickup is a very nice feature that I take of advantage of frequently. It is great that it is an actual grocery store too, that always has all the items I need. And the Target store brand items are really good too. I like some of their store brand groceries better than the name brands. My favorite hummus is Good and Gather, the store brand.
