Lady was incredibly rude at the balloon center. I asked if she could blow up my balloons for my son's birthday and she was mad that I even asked. I guess they don't blow up outside balloons, despite that fact that I offered to pay for each balloon or buy an equal number of other balloons. Regardless of their unlisted policy, there's 0 reason to be rude to a polite customer and wag your finger. No reason for me to ever go back. read more

Thank goodness for 2 for $1 cards. That is a substantial savings. Was disappointed when Dollar Tree, became $1.25 Tree. Inflation is for real. I understand they probably had to, but the speed in which it was enacted, was not particularly pleasant. It's still worth it for some items, but now most people are more selective. Here's a decent place to get household cleaners. Also you can't get body wash soaps, and toothpaste for a lot less. I like this store, as it's cleaner than a lot of them. Also it's well marked and organized by category. Employees are helpful too. Checkout lines for the most part are quick or non existent. read more

My favorite DT location in all of Northern VA! I never realized how much I appreciated this store until I moved away and the ones near me are honestly the worst. Now I drive the extra time to come to this one because it is always clean, stocked well, and organized. The staff is nice and always willing to help. The only down side is things do run out super fast (even more than others) because become come and buy it out in bulk. But I wish other DT stores would be more like this one! 7/30/22 Upon looking for something to put our mail in and hang from the wall near our front door. We did not find what we were looking for, but we did find a whole bunch of other items. I saw more charger cables, but none in the "C Type" I needed. I saw boxes of sugar coated cereal (as my mom called it), but if it is what you can afford, so be it. The dollar store has many things that can help your household out. From cooking utensils to cleaning utensils to Bananas In Panjamas and Dora The Explorer merchandise, there is something for everyone here. If you see something you like, get it before it's gone. The items might return, but don't always believe it will always be there. I saw composition books for back to school and thought about some characters In my novel who wrote in their composition book their thoughts. After a month or two, they would send it to each other. I thought about two other characters who will be doing something similar while they are in prison. This store seems like in the middle of nowhere, but it really isn't. Still, I enjoyed this visit here. I am sure I will be back here with my wife again. This store is well stocked, well maintained and polite staff members we encountered. We shall return. Oh, I did not see the bathrooms, but I will inspect them the next time we are here. I hope the bathrooms are as clean as this store. read more

I found this location to be well-stocked and clean. They have the fall and Halloween decor out already, which was the main purpose of my visit today. In addition to a large seasonal selection, there's quite a variety of books, candles, candy, and toys. The aisles are wide which is nice since getting a cart is a must here. I love that I could find those popper fidget toys for my classroom at school-all for a dollar each. The only drawback of my experience was the checkout. There was a long line and only one register. Shortly after I got in line, another register was opened so I didn't have to wait too long. This Dollar Tree is relatively close to me so I'll definitely return for odds and ends. read more

They just bought in new self pay machines and I try to pay with coins , the machine got stuck and the workers there just said to my face that I shouldn't use that many coins this is not a bank, what a joke , if the big corporate can't train their employee to know how the machine works then maybe have a sign saying no coins accept? Okay, I'm not going to complain about the recent hike in prices because I'm sure most of you are aware but this is no longer a DOLLAR store, everything now costs $1.25. So they should really consider changing the name of the store and change the sign out front to reflect their new prices. With that out of the way, let's start with the good: They have a large selection of candy and chips. Think 7/11 and multiply it by 10. If you just want lots of junk food for a road trip, camping trip, or a picnic with the wife and kids, you can do okay for yourself here. There's also plenty of canned food and packaged instant meals for the lazy people out there. Okay, now onto the bad: It's kind of ominous inside the store. It's very dimly lit, which gives it an unsavory vibe. Yikes. But worse than that, one of their employees seems to avoid any hygienic practices whatsoever. I don't remember her name but I think it started with a 'G'. She smells absolutely awful. I have never, in my many years of bargain hunting, come across a smell so extremely foul emitting from a human being. It was so bad I was fighting the desire to vomit until I left the store. That's absolutely unacceptable - employees of any kind should be expected to shower, wash their clothes, etc. I don't think this should even have to be said but here we are. My wife and I stopped in quick to buy some candy with the kids and it was a fairly large location. The layout was slightly different from what I usually see in a Dollar Tree but still, large. That being said, not as much as I expected as far as stock. Still, they were well stocked and we found what we needed. I grabbed a couple of RipIts while I was in as I do enjoy them. Bottom line, Dollar Tree has a lot of items from a dollar. It is a seriously good deal. Don't get me wrong, you may not get the most quality items but you can't beat the price. I traveled out of my way to this location based on Mike G's review. He was on point about everything. The place is well-spaced, clean, organized, and the staff is helpful. I also liked this store because the customers were courteous and well mannered. I saw families with youngsters who didn't allow their kids to play with merchandise, or run around unsupervised. It was an almost surreal experience, compared with the mayhem I witness at closer-in urban locations. I also found glass votive holders and mini vases I recently saw at Hobby Lobby in the $9 price range. This store had some selections you don't typically see at other Dollar Tree's, so I'll add this to my list of locations to visit when I am in the area again. read more

I have reason to believe that the employee who conducted my transaction then stole my information from the receipt, seeing as he added me on my personal Facebook and Instagram the next day. A few days later, I went back into the store and spoke with a manger and relayed my concerns to him about the situation. I did not want to name the specific employee as it was not my intention to sabotage his employment status, but instead asked the manager to send a general message to his staff to not steal customer information in that way as it was a huge boundary issue. The manager assured me the issue would be handled. Seeing as how the same employee again decided to message me "whats up how are you ?" on Facebook, I can only assume the message to the staff was not relayed. I AGAIN relayed my concerned to the store manager as well as corporate. I was fed some bs about how it's absolutely not ok, they would potentially fire the staff member and launch an investigation and keep me updated every step along the way. Here we are almost 2 weeks later and I they are now ignoring my emails, and social media messages. I'm concerned for my safety and they're now just trying to block me out. I've had to change my card number too. PLEASE, for your safety, DO NOT SHOP HERE. They do not protect your information, and do not care to follow up with you after putting you at risk. This is quite a good sized Dollar Tree. Everything can be found here from chips and snacks to school supplies to kitchen gadgets to paper products and craft supplies. There is always a display of seasonal holiday items at the front of the store. You might not think to shop Dollar Tree for various and sundry items such as Hallmark greeting cards, mustard, hot sauce, a can opener, and paper plates and towels, but check it out. Everything is a dollar or under. Good deals on brand candy. I will admit that I like to look at the chip selection, finding brands such as Zapp's. read more

Place is well stocked and I never get out of there with less than ten things that I impulsively buy. The reason they only get two stars is because of the staff. They're always miserable and extremely rude. This past Sunday was the last straw. My husband and I went in there looking for gift boxes and tissue paper. They had a large supply and then we picked up some random items. The store was nearly empty and as I tried to make small talk with the woman at check out I was completely ignored....like I was invisible. She asked if I needed a bag and instead proceeds to roll the tissue paper into a ball to get it to fit in the bag ....I had to tell her, " no.....please don't do that" and take it out of her hands. Really....who would do something so idiotic? And of course this creates more of an attitude from the cashier. It ended with me snatching my receipt out if her hand (which was held out to me with not a word spoken) and leaving shaking my head. The whole thing could have gone so much easier if she'd just said good morning when I greeted her. I don't shop at places where I'm going to be treated like dirt. read more

This location is the worst Dollar Tree I've ever been to. The sell the same stuff as all DT stores but the store itself if dirty and dark. Almost half the overhead light bulbs are burnt out and it gives the store a dark and sketchy vibe. It's really does a disservice to the neighborhood. I've asked the manager about it and just got an eyeroll. It's been this way for a couple of years and is just getting worse, I thought with the price increase it might improv, but sadly it has not. read more

UMMMM, I feel like I've been missing something for the past however-long I've lived in Northern Virginia, because I had NO Idea that a dollar store could be like this. Seriously, anytime I need party decorations from now until eternity, I'm coming here. It's great! First of all, this place is ENORMOUS. I'm used to Dollar Stores that are like, 4 aisles of tiny crammed toys and knick-knacks, many of which aren't actually a dollar at all. Not here! This Dollar Tree is super organized and bigger than any I've seen before. And, legit, EVERYTHING is a dollar. Like, this bottle of shampoo? One dollar. This 4-pack of baby shower decorations? One dollar. This balloon? One dollar. This actual-glass wine glass? One dollar. It's the only place where I'd feel comfortable taking a child and letting them run loose, because anything they decide they MUST HAVE NOW, well, I would be totally fine with buying, haha. I was super impressed with the cleanliness and organization of this store as well, and the staff was perfectly friendly. Although I live close, this was my first visit. The store is modest in size and has a bunch of products that are all $1. Not all of their items are recognizable name brands but some aren't. There are some bargains, but you pretty much get what you pay for. read more

I am moving out of state and visited this location to look for cheap moving supplies. My main focus was different colored packing tapes. They do not have those here BUT they do have heavy duty storage bags, vaccum storage bags, and jumbo blanket bags. All for $1 ea. which is pretty good for packing on the cheap. They have other space saving bags & a bunch of trash, ziploc, and packing tapes to choose from. The only jumbo sharpie they had there was in red though which was weird. Other than that it's your typical dollar tree. If I wasn't shopping for packing supplies I would've bought some school supplies. read more

I generally enjoy dollar stores, as they offer the bang for your buck, but my experience here was lukewarm. The ordeal began when I tried to bring my dog into the store with me, and was rudely denied by a man who was wearing a red shirt. Disgruntled, I tied my dog to a post outside the store and asked a passerby to watch him for me (shout out to Brenda!). The inside of the store was well kept, but they had nothing that I was looking for, which I was very disappointed by, but as I am an industrious person I made do. The store was very clean, and there were no puddles for me to slip in. I brought the items that I had selected to the check out counter and found out I was five dollars short, they refused to let me have the items for free, so I ended up getting nothing. All in all I will not be returning to this store (Except to retrieve my dog). read more
