At least the store felt like it had something to offer if you were just looking in. But the hardest part of the task is that really search in here to find the deal or item you have in mind. During the check out portion of my visit there were bottles of hand sanitizer everywhere! The employees sprayed the counters down in between each transaction! I do not understand why you would allow people to switch boxes especially for designer shoes. I visited this store and found a YSL medium clutch on display. This particular clutch (YSL Pouch Medium) is sold in Saks Fifth Avenue (and the Saint Laurent store) for $595 regular price. It was priced in this Saks off fifth store for $989.99. I wasn't sure of the price and waited until I got home to confirm my suspicions. I then called the store hoping they would re-examine the clutch and hold it for me. Instead the manager was rude and doubled down that she does the pricing, the clutch is not mistagged and the price is correct. The box for the clutch is there with the correct name but she refused to listen. Based on how the phone conversation went I'm happy I didn't approach her in the store. Despite corporate customer service promising to have another manager contact me, I was never contacted. Examine all items before purchasing and taking home especially designer items!!! I was surprised to see the concourse throughout the mall wasn't crowded, yet the parking lots were packed. I had to circle several times to find a spot. The stores I visited had fairly light traffic. I came to this mall while in VA as I wanted to window shop at Bloomingdale's Outlet and Discount Designer Outlet. Sadly, both retailers left me disappointed. Inventory wasn't fashionable or high-end luxury brands that I was expecting. I am frugal and likely wouldn't have bought anything, but would have enjoyed window shopping. To make my experience worse, traffic coming home to Howard County was god-awful and I was reminded why I hate going to VA. A wasted trip of my time coming to this mall when I could have gone to Arundel only eleven minutes away from me.

There is usually no line when I visit in the morning, which was the case today (04.10.25). I would suggest going early as I have waited up to 20 mins when visiting in the late afternoon and evenings. This is likely due to there being only one person staffing the return area. My items have always been bagged, labeled and placed in a box alongside other returns. Compared to other return drops, I find that I receive notice from Amazon sooner when using this Kohl's location. Improvements could be made to the organization of the area. It's cluttered and lacks an apparent organizational flow. I have not, however, had any returns go missing or unaccounted for. I'll continue to use this location when convenient.

They don't charge this much for some clothes. At this JCP some shirts were almost near the fifty dollar mark for ONE SHIRT. The pillow section followed closely behind in the pricing with certain basic pillows being insanely expensive. Also the overall presentation of most of the merchandise makes it nowhere near appealing for the price really. The mattress section is almost laughable as well with near two thousand mattresses with stains on them when you really look at them. It's understandable accidents happen by customers. But someone is not going to spend an insane amount of money while looking at a juice or soda stained mattress. The only section which seemed to be fully stocked and active was the Sephora part of the store. I can't really comment on the employees since it would seem the only employees are at the registers and the customer service counter mainly. There's virtually no employees on the sales floor besides the Sephora & jewelry sections. The dressing rooms are almost autonomous since there were also no employees near the dressing room areas either. The overall noise level was normal for a retail store. It was almost too quiet in the store however at certain times. The general crowd is mainly adults. Some kids. Everyone seemed mature and disciplined. Overall this location is a DUMP. Management needs to be fired. I can't say how many times I've been inside this store and always seen customers looking for employees only to never succeed.
