This review is for the Kohl's Amazon Return Drop. The return area is located in the back, right corner of the Kohl's store. There is usually no line when I visit in the morning, which was the case today (04.10.25). I would suggest going early as I have waited up to 20 mins when visiting in the late afternoon and evenings. This is likely due to there being only one person staffing the return area. My items have always been bagged, labeled and placed in a box alongside other returns. Compared to other return drops, I find that I receive notice from Amazon sooner when using this Kohl's location. Improvements could be made to the organization of the area. It's cluttered and lacks an apparent organizational flow. I have not, however, had any returns go missing or unaccounted for. I'll continue to use this location when convenient. read more

When did Kohls 3 day grace period for expired Kohls cash stop!!! Kohls failed to communicate this to their customers in any way. I lost $50 for their failure to communicate after going to shop one day after my $50 Kohls cash expired. Not to worry because I know how to get around expiring Kohls cash in the future and this will NOT happen AGAIN!! read more

Do not purchase gift cards from Kohls! We placed $200 into a gift card as a present for Christmas, and when my mother attempted to use the card a few days later nearly all of it was gone. We contacted customer support who stated that they would look into it and that this type of inquiry would take about a month to resolve. When I called back about a month later (after not having heard anything from the store) I was told that there had been fraudulent activity with involving that card and that the there was nothing that could be done. Why it took more than a month for them to tell me that they are inept is beyond me. read more

They changed their check out line to include people who had returns. I waited in this long line for over an hour and still wasn't able to check out. I left the store without purchasing items. They should change their check out lines back the way they used to be. read more

I've been a Kohl's customer and utilized their credit card for savings for over 30 yrs. Today I went in to get my granddaughter a few items. We waited in line for over a half hr and they said my card was declined. I have a zero balance with a high credit limit but they couldn't tell me why and thus a lot of my applicable coupons could not be used bc I couldn't use my card. No one even the call center could explain and it baffles me why they'd lose a potentially interest based charge but I paid w cash and I will never shop there again. Post script after further calls , they had added some fee of their own and said I was two days late paying on a zero balance account . I've not liking shopping there for awhile after they lost all the good clothing lines that they used to carry . But I will say I'm now done w them for good. This Kohls has steadily gone down hill since I started shopping here years ago. A few years ago I had personal property stolen from my dressing room. Now they have a long snake line to check out with stuff to buy along the way. It looks messy and it's hard for people who have mobility issues or who are older! *** Amazon Drop-off Review*** Man listen, this had to be the easier Amazon return known to man to date. In and out in about 5 minutes is my kinda return timeline. After initiating the return online, I proceed to Kohl's with my QR code at the ready and proceeded to the stand alone kiosky thing over by Customer Service. My code was scanned, she asked if anything was wrong with the item, printer out my receipt which also had a 25% off ocupon good for 7 days in-store with the normal restrictions (non name brand items) and I was on my way. Stopped by Kohl's to do an Amazon return and I was blown away by the great customer service. I was standing in the wrong location for the return and an associate came out of the back and advised me that Amazon returns were at the rear of the store, I thanked her and went on. As I was walking to the correct location another associate noticed I was carrying an Amazon box and stated where I needed to go. Once I arrived at the counter the associate was very friendly and swift with the task! Kohl's is even offering a $5.00 off coupon when you rise their store as a location drop off for Amazon! This Kohls was closer to our old neighborhood and this is the one where my family shops at regularly. Pretty much everyone in our family are Kohl's charge members and what I like about being a member is that every month you get a specific discount to use with in-store or online and you can easily pay off your bills in-store and also online. we also like to take advantage of their Kohls cash scheme where they give you $10 to use at their store for every $50 you spend on your own. I also like the variety Kohl's has in terms of merchandise. This branch in particular has also recently gotten a make over with automatic doors, a new convenient layout as well as a new more convenient location for the customer service counter. Will definitely continue to shop here. read more

Arrived to pick up my online order and used the app to notify store of my arrival. After waiting 10 minutes I called the store to inform them that I was there. Trisha "manager" was the rudest person I've ever encountered here. She straight away snaps saying she sent someone out and I wasn't there. I told her she was wrong I was parked outside and told her where. She very nasty says that it's their old spot as if I was suppose to know (why wouldn't you check both if you haven't removed the sign). I called her after getting my order and advised her that as a manager all you had to say was we'll be back out but there is a new location for online pick up. Very simple, and required no bad attitude. I also told her I am going to reach out to someone above her because her attitude was uncalled for, she then says in her same nasty tone go ahead feel free... So I will. Over the weekend my boyfriend and I stopped in to this Kohls store to do some shopping. I had received a Kohls coupon for 30% off my entire purchase in the mail. Well.much to my surprise and disappointment that discount did not apply to all of my items. You see Kohls sells certain brands that they do not include in such discounts. Yet this incormation is not written anywhere on the coupon. When I brought this matter to the attention of one of the store managers I was told that that was their policy regardless of the fact that customers were not made aware of it. He did not seem at all concerned about my situation. Well I can assure you that I will think twice before shopping at any Kohls store again. I normally go to the Kohls in Stafford, but I live here in Woodbridge so I figured why not start shopping at this store considering it's only 2 miles away. I went to purchase a nice dress blouse. Their selections did not disappoint. There were plenty to choose from especially from one of my favorite designers - Vera Wang. It was also great to get a discount bringing my cost to half price. One thing I did notice however, the store is extremely junkie! Especially the handbag and shoe departments. The shoe department was absolutely ridiculous. This new thing of scavenging for your size in boxes is just not my thing. I appreciate Macys and Nordstrom's that still have shoes on display and a salesperson goes and gets your desired size. I have purchased a couple pairs of shoes from Kohls in Stafford, as their shoe department is organized with the displayed shoe having the coordinated shoe box under the display. I also might add the clearance area was also alittle disarray but that is expected. I am a purposeful shopper however when I shop at Kohls I usually purchase more then what I went in there for. I shop at KOHL'S frequently and I usually have a good experience. Unfortunately, the other day I encountered Gary who was the rudest, nastiest person. He was really rude and sarcastic. All I wanted him to do was look up my KOHL'S card number. Others have done it with no problem. He was like "I can't do that." I don't shop here a ton, but when I need something basic I come here to check out the sales racks, which are usually anywhere from 60-80% off. Case in point today, I am taking a yoga class. Like a lot of women who are about to work out again, I need the gear--in this case yoga pants. I go here, I find them. 15 dollars. That's even cheaper than what was available at Target (my usual go to inexpensive clothing location). Ok so most of us our already familiar with Kohls and their whole gag. No, I didn't "save" $600 on this shopping trip, I spent $75 and that's what it was worth. Anyway, the Potomac Mills area location is, I'm sure, one of their more high traffic locations, but in the last couple years it constantly looks like a bomb went off. Checkout typically takes well over 15 mins on any given day/time, you have to thoroughly check what you buy to make sure it isn't broken (cracked and chipped home decor, jewelry missing beads, etc). The selection in the older kids dept is terribly lacking. Need a dress for a 7yo that doesn't look like she's about to head out to da club? Look elsewhere. Boys clothes that aren't mesh shorts or tshirts plastered with words or cartoon characters are slim pickens. Plus size women's section? Anyone under 60 will have a hard time finding something fashionable. They need a full-time team just to reset the store each day, putting things back on the right shelves. Yes, a lot of the people that shop there are animals, but they aren't encouraged to act like sentient bipeds when the store is in constant disarray. read more

The shoe sectional does need better organization but the store overall has great stuff! From kids to adult clothing / shoes and accessories. The No Hassle return is a myth. I received a chair that I ordered online and the chair was not what I really wanted. I tried to return the chair, but guess what, you have to wait until the stores reopen, whenever that may be. They do not offer a return mailing label to take to UPS or post office. As a matter of fact, on their Chat site, I was told that I had to pay for my own shipping. They have NO customer service email to write to. So, I have to wait for months for the stores to reopen to return the chair. Unless, of course, I decide to pay some ridiculous amount to have the chair mailed back myself. No Hassle Return...I think not. read more

I've shopped at this location for many years and for the first time I've had the worst experience ever. The cashier and customer service representative were so kind and helpful, however, it was the store manager who this is about. Very arrogant, aggressive, and rude. A vacuum was priced $300 less than what it was rung up and he refused to honor the pricing it was being advertised as. Without even giving us a chance to explain as how we saw it, he went by assumption and did not allow us to finish what we had to say but pressure sold us into an item we were not interested in. We tried to call Corp however that is an entire mission. You have to go through their customer care line which is not "allowed" to provide the Corp number. They have to submit a ticket which can take 2 business days. It's been a week and I have yet to hear anything back. read more

My wife and I returned a dyson vaccum and because of the amount, they told us we would have a refund issued to us within 3 weeks...it's been 4 weeks and can't even speak to anyone...employees at the store are clueless and can't tell me anything except call the 800 number that nobody ever answers....not sure what to do!?! read more

I love Kohl's! We shop there all the time but today I am highly disappointed. On September 16 while visiting the store I placed an order at one of the kiosks because they didn't have my husbands size in the store....I paid the additional $19.95 delivery fee to have my items delivered today because we needed it for tomorrow. Guess what, here it is 9:30 PM and No delivery! So I call customer service, they tell me it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow by 8AM. Umm why did I pay for the delivery if I am not receiving my order when I am suppose to? Anyway, the lady was nice and said she would give me a credit of $10; which does not help me at all because we needed the order to be here today. Store is fine BUT the sales staff, particularly a woman who I believe may be a manager, is the absolute worst. I witnessed her bullying, and belittling, a kind man and his wife in attempts to have them sign up for a Kohls credit card tonight. They politely, and respectfully, declined her numerous attempts. Each time, this nasty woman responded with the most disgusting comments, trying to pressure them. I understand that all stores try and push customers to open credit cards yet NO means NO. And when a customer declines two or three times (although once should be enough and respected) the sales person needs to STOP asking. I was shocked and horrified to see this kind of sales pressure. This man must have said no over 15 times, and this is not an exaggeration. This woman should be fired for her horrible behavior and definitely does not deserve to be in any management position.
