I'm sorry but I really hate writing this review. I really don't expect a lot from Dollar Tree, you kinda get what you pay for. This review is mainly due to who I believe is the store manager (Sarah). I witnessed you yell in a very ugly way and embarrass your employee in front of everyone in the store. Your employee must of been well over 70 years old and a very small person (90 pounds maybe...). To bring an elderly lady to tears really broke my heart. Shame on you Sarah, this was elder abuse at it's finest. read more

horrible, absolutely horrible. Went in around 8:30pm just to get a drink and one of the workers there was just so rude. there were two people working. One was older and one looked very young. The younger fella just so rude to us for no reason. plus customer service was slow when we were the only people in there. the younger fella cursed me and the people i was with out because I guess we were laughing too loud. plus when we said something about it he said "why don't you say it to my face." like he was threatening us. he was being awfully rude for no reason. he should NOT be working there if he's gonna disrespect customers. I put my hard earned money into this place just to be disrespected. the older man who rung us up didn't even have a problem with us and was very nice, bless his sweet soul. Today, cashier Stella was very rude. Not the first time I've experienced her short, impatient attitude, but today was over the top. She was obviously overwhelmed by the long line but that's not my fault as a customer, she was snappy and cut me off twice when I was trying to ask her something about my purchase. Another employee (manager maybe or supervisor, either way, disappointing) wouldn't help me and only stepped in for cashier backup after Stella had rudely finished ringing us up with a long, loudly complaining line building behind us. Seems like different employees need to be staffed at the front if Stella is struggling so badly. read more

It's clean, convenient, and cost effective. For things like wrapping paper, toothpaste, cleaners, school supplies, and party decorations - this place is a gold mine. I love stocking up on aluminum trays at $1 each. I needed some type of insulation for backcountry meals and I bought two neoprene & fabric potholders here, sewed them together = voila! $2 coozy. Their greeting card selection has a lot of cheesy, awful stuff but if you dig, you can find the good ones. At $.50 ea., I'm down for a game of seek & find. This store is a nice addition for Brentwood. Staff is always cheerful. read more

This rating is for lack of customer service. Customer service is a big part of working retail. I ran in to buy 6 items and stood in line 25 -30 min before it was my turn. There was one one person ahead of me and the lady getting checked out with a balloon purchase. The whole time there was another worker standing in the register to the right? Instead of opening up she asks the cashier (Male) if he'd like help looking for more balloon colors? How about open up another register, the line was freaking growing? As I'm finally get to place my items on the counter, and 30 min in line, she then opens the other register? Now that made no dang sense? read more

One of the better Dollar Tree locations I've been to. Shelves are reasonable stocked with a variety of useful items (personal opinion). Friendly staff and lines that move forward at a reasonably quick pace. Clean floors and shelves that aren't trashed like other locations. read more

This is a joyful and happy store. The long line at the cashier is meant to make you feel the need to slow down, no rush and no hurry. I feel so happy and lucky in this store. It's a wonderful feeling especially when they have Mickey Mouse Disney Orange Juice and Donald Duck Disney Apple Juice. Great find! And is a good store. Lots of creative hobby items for fun and creative activities. Lots of snacks, canned goods, and bottled goods, and dry goods; Such as chips, breads, Taco Shells, Ramen Noodles, Cup-O-Noodles, powdered drinks, sodas, bottled water, and bottled tea drinks. Their refrigerator has all sorts of icee and ice creams. They got lots of morning breakfast items, and microwavable foods in their refridgerator. Also, they have soaps, detergents, kitchen gadgets, and kitchen utensils. Small gifts and children toys. Some tools, hardware, batteries, and cosmetic items for beauty and health. Bright, shiny new Dollar Tree store! Opened as of June 29th. I didn't think I would review a dollar store, as they are usually pretty run of the mill. Normally I go in, get what I need, and go out. I found this new Dollar Tree via Yelp because I was in the area, searched for the nearest dollar store, and ended up here. You walk in and you immediately notice right away how clean and organized it is! It's spic and span, tidy, and inviting to shop here. There are actually shopping carts in the shopping cart area where they should be and the merchandising of the store is laid out so nicely - it looks camera-ready for a commercial. I usually buy school supplies, gift wrap, party decor, gift bags, party favors, balloons, and household needs. This day in particular, I was on the quest for PICTURE HANGERS, since we have new decor and a mirror to hang in the house. I knew they had them before because I purchased them at a different location. I looked and looked and cruised the aisles. Could not find the picture hangers anywhere. Finally, I asked RIC, the assistant manager or manager, for help. He also checked the section where he thought it would be. No where to be found and he said he thought they were out of stock. Bummer.. So I went on my way and continued to shop, picking up things here and there. A few minutes later, Ric comes back up to me. I was at the opposite end of the store, so this means he had to come and FIND ME. RIC FOUND THE PICTURE HANGERS! My coveted item was in the Automotive Section, he said. Now this is the kind of GO-ABOVE-AND-BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE that makes my heart sing! He could have given up and moved on to his next work task, but no, he went on the quest for my item. I love shopping at a place that provides the service that shows they care about customers and want their repeat business. This new Dollar Tree location is a fantastic place to shop. I had a great experience and I'll be back! TIP: They carry a supply of electronics accessories (see my pic) - including ear buds, USB car chargers, tablet covers, and even mini stereo speakers! I don't know about the quality, but for $1, it's worth a try. btw the frozen food section is limited ) to the left and rear of store) and there are no fresh foods like vegetables. Some of healthy things I found there were the frozen berries and peaches in the frozen food aisle, see pics. Check this Dollar Tree out for great service, display quality, cleanliness, safe location, and it is very well stocked. STILL JUST AWFUL!! The manager never works there. Always late with holiday items up, always boxes in the aisles ALWAYS. At times I just open up a box of a holiday items I want. Bare items. Shelfs bare .... I use to not like the one on sand creek however they are cleaner and always well stocked! I just wish Balfour one (closer) was, in the beginning they were amazing now nope and the manager stands there or goes out to his motorcycle and just gazes as there is massive lines it's crazy...... acfual pisses me off. Someone came there last year i think a higher up person, they rearranged shelfs and it was lookong up but aftter they left it all went to hell again! I was here visiting my mom, and we stopped by here to pick up some supplies for a party. This is a pretty standard Dollar Tree, no real surprises here. There's a lot of cheap merchandise on display, but it was surprisingly well organized and clean. The employees were friendly and nice. More dollar stores could learn from this place, it was nice enough that I'd want to go back. read more

Nice new clean store and GREAT EMPLOYEES!. They will go out of their way to help you out and make sure you don't stand in a long line like the other Brentwood Store. They are a little limited on merchandise, but seem to be upping the inventory on a weekly basis. Much easier to find parking and again, this store is CLEAN. read more

I've been shopping at this Dollar Tree for some years now, and I've seen the customer severice go down the drain this past year. I'm not sure what has happened but this stores needs to conduct basic Customer Training 101 for all their employees. After standing in a long line, I was spoken to rudely by supposedly the Assistant Manager. So I ask the cashier if I could speak with the General Store Manager and was told that it was no need to speak to him for something so very small. Since when is rude employees such a small issue now days? I don't care if you are spending your $$ at Nordstrom or at the Dollar Tree you deserve GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICES, period! Then the coin machine took my daughter's .50 without giving her the little toy she was trying to get. Me and my friend were just going to dollar tree to buy a few things for a party. All of the workers were very disrespectful. They are always usually nice. Except I don't know why but this time when I went they all glared at me and were talking to me in a rude way. For example there website says they close at 10 pm I went at 9 pm and they told everyone they were closed. So all of the workers are lying to us, there just trying to close before closing time cause there's not many customers. Workers shouldn't be able to do that. We are paying customers and they should be thankful we're even spending money here. Even the manager was there and being rude. When more customers walked into the store the manager looked at them and was staring in a rude way, like he didn't want them there. Don't even get me started on how they never have anything in stock. I always go for certain things on certain days and they never have it. They say they'll get more stock the next day, so I come back the next day and they tell me it'll be there the NEXT day. It keeps going on and on. Even the food is stale most of the time. I go for a bag of chips and there's mold on it! An the freezer food is always freezer burnt! The bathrooms there are disgusting. They don't even clean them! They always just put a out of order sign. The workers are just to lazy to do their job. If they actually were good workers maybe they'd get paid more or we would even tip them. But I have never in my life seen such a bad store like this. Me and my wife walked in to the store to buy a few items like we tend to do rather often when we need a few small things. When we came to the register to pay for the items we were flat out told that we need to pay for the items we shoved into our pockets. I took out what I had in my pockets and put it on the counter. Those items were my cell phone and my wallet. The store manager of the store or so she claimed to be the store manager was named Bianca. She has made me and my wife look like fools infront of a ton of shoppers that were behind us in line by calling us thieves. I have never been accused of stealing anything in my life. That has made me very upset that your company hires people that don't have the proper training of how to handle those kinds of situations with your customers. I will be reporting this very interesting incident on Facebook, Youtube, Yelp and every other social media that I have an account with. I will make sure to bring that store out to light and to show how your company trains managers to handle situation with customers that are not at fault. Both the cashier and the store manager ( Bianca) kept saying it infront of all the customers that stood in line that they have camera's in the store and that they can check what happened, however, when I asked them to show me the camera's they refused and they weren't making eye contect with me.
