Was pleasantly surprised by the selection of great albums from some great artists. Almost every album I saw was either one I wanted or already owned. Picked out about 6 gems by the time I got through the second box. I also found a few I have been looking out for in shops for months. Prices were very reasonable and I inspected everything I purchased and was very happy with the condition overall. Definitely a cool little shop that has a well curated used vinyl section.

The pricing for new vinyl is pretty consistent with what you see or find at similar independent record stores. I really like the vibe and layout of this store. It's so large that you have separate rooms for primarily their used stuff and a separate area that looks like a hang out area. There's even a room towards the back where I think they have live shows. During out visit, it was used to hold the records that came in for Black Friday or Record Store Day 2025. Came here with some family to do some holiday shopping and just generally looking for stuff. There was a coffee cart there serving up free beverages, which was a nice touch. I ended up getting a couple of records I've been looking for awhile and being able to buy a couple records my nephew wanted for Christmas. Their focus is on video games, but they have many discounted items -- vinyl, CDs, DVDs, comics. While The Record Man has pricier items, the Planet Mix offers more affordable records. One could spend hours just perusing all of the items they offer. It's a good way to spend a couple of hours. Treasure hunting at its finest.

The folks here are friendly and helpful and the selection and prices are great and are pretty much in line with market if not slightly lower. I ended up buying a couple of new records as they got some stock on Record Store Day here as well in addition to their usual huge inventory of used (and new) records. I even got to replace an old Rolling Stones live record that I loved (and at some point lost in my own collection). There's a big parking lot and it's fairly easy to find parking. Located in the small but charming Brentwood downtown area, this is a shop full of antiques and vintage inspired goods. They have a variety of vendors and each section is brimming with unique finds. I saw many items that I'd point out and say "ohhh I had that as a kid!" There are also some locally hand crafted items. New inventory seems to come in every few weeks and they do a lovely job with fun window displays, as well as keeping their social media pages up to date with special events (like Vintage Fashion shows!) and special store hours.
