They have some very cute boutique shops near the farmers market, and upon walking into this one with two women working the front counter... no acknowledgement of my presence. No big deal because some folx working in retail just aren't into the greeting the customers thing. But not twenty seconds after I walk in, two white women walk in and are greeted with a "Welcome ladies, is there anything we can help you with!" My stomach churned, I walked out. Not making any judgements except one about customer service, you should strive to greet all your customers if that's your thing. Especially ones willing to spend some money.

What you'll be met with when you enter is an avalanche of inventory. There's so much to look at and browse that it's best to just ask the nice lady behind the counter what you're looking for. There's apparel, scooters, skateboards, accessories, shoes, stickers, and so so so much more. Luckily, I came prepared with exactly what I had in mind to buy and was able to secure the goods at a decent price. The service here is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We decided to allow her before she goes back to school…read more Originally I wanted to go to a local piercer but to be honest, in the oakley and Brentwood area the reviews were not great. I decided on Claire's. Most reviews seem to have nothing to do with piercing so I knew I was rolling the dice. It was a wonderful experience. First, the website is easy to use. I logged online and was able to secure an appointment in under 5 minutes. We went within the hour. Melissa greeted us, we explained we were there for her first time piercing, she looked to my daughter and told her how exciting this would be and put her at easy. She showed the medical grade piercing options. Piercing was free with a purchase of their medical grade earrings (about $60). I signed paperwork online authorizing the service, took just a couple of minutes. My daughter said she was so excited but I could tell she was getting more nervous. Melissa offered her to squeeze a stuffy while she lined up the dots. Verified with me and then she went to work. The first puncture my daughter was shocked, she said it was a pinch. The second earlobe a little more painful. She gave us the instructions: wear 24/7. 3 weeks in and then she can switch them out. Clean 3x a day for 3 weeks. Wear 24/7 for at least 6-12 months. Plus they give you the maintenance solution. She ended up grabbing some great body spray (the salted caramel was so decadent- loved it!) and then on our way. I highly recommend. I observed hygiene procedures beforehand and after. Thank you Melissa! Two thumbs up!
