If you're petite, this store has tons of cute options for you at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, if you are a big girl, such as myself, there are a lot fewer options and the clothes they do have usually run for the shorter big girls, I'm 5'9. I used to come in here and look pretty often and every once in awhile I would find something, but not a lot so I hadn't been in this store in over a year. If they stocked bigger sizes I would make this one of my regular stores.

I understand there has to be rules surrounding such issues, but when an order has not even shipped and you're not able to be helped is enough for me to stop shopping there.

Today's Express outing began with my search for a cute top to wear to an upcoming "dress casual"…read moreevent. My search ended with the purchase of 4 cute "dress casual" tops... AND... a pair of shorts... AND... a necklace to go with said cute "dress casual" top and shorts... PLUS... a few extras... including an insanely adorable royal blue (makes my blue eyes pop) ruffled-front belted dress (which I so happen to already have THE perfect pair of heels to go with it). Many refer to this as "disposable clothing" ... BUT... Express has great deals on trendy outfits... AND... I always receive compliments when I wear anything from Express! Seriously. I seem to be in the minority, but I love this place! Express is THE place I go for work/play clothes. Looking for a cardigan? Check. Simple, multi-functional button-down shirts? Check. Inexpensive work suits? Check. Skirts that fall at a "decent" length? Check. Must-have summer dresses? Check. Without fail, whenever I come in... I find a ton of s**t that I have to buy. Even better, the prices at Express are extremely manageable. If you like to follow trends, but don't want to empty out your bank accts doing so, Express is the way to go. I'm going back tomorrow. There's another top that I HAVE to have. Ever experience buyers remorse? Yeah... well I'm experiencing whatever the opposite of buyers remorse is... unbuyers remorse? Yep. That's exactly what it is. Gotta go back. Gotta have it.

Given they were having a huge sale I thought the place would be in disarray. Nope! The jewelry was even organized. I love the chandeliers that are hanging at the front entrance and dressing room! I haven't done much shopping here, but they do have several well-known stores, including Express, Bath & Body Works, Hollister, DSW, Spencer's, and Tillys. There are also a few good dining options, such as BJ's, CreAsian, and Black Angus. In the past, I found the shopping center to be pretty dull compared to some of the other malls and shopping areas I've visited around the Bay Area. However, since it was purchased by a new owner, I've noticed some improvements and renovations that have given the area a much-needed refresh. New additions like Handel's, Vine + Grain, and the upcoming Slice House are making the center feel more lively and promising. I think Streets of Brentwood has a lot of potential and will continue to improve over the next five years. One of my favorite features is the outdoor patio area. It's a nice place to take a stroll, spend time with family, and even bring your dog. Overall, Streets of Brentwood seems to be heading in a positive direction, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much it continues to grow and improve.

My daughter (10) wanted her ears pierced. We decided to allow her before she goes back to school…read more Originally I wanted to go to a local piercer but to be honest, in the oakley and Brentwood area the reviews were not great. I decided on Claire's. Most reviews seem to have nothing to do with piercing so I knew I was rolling the dice. It was a wonderful experience. First, the website is easy to use. I logged online and was able to secure an appointment in under 5 minutes. We went within the hour. Melissa greeted us, we explained we were there for her first time piercing, she looked to my daughter and told her how exciting this would be and put her at easy. She showed the medical grade piercing options. Piercing was free with a purchase of their medical grade earrings (about $60). I signed paperwork online authorizing the service, took just a couple of minutes. My daughter said she was so excited but I could tell she was getting more nervous. Melissa offered her to squeeze a stuffy while she lined up the dots. Verified with me and then she went to work. The first puncture my daughter was shocked, she said it was a pinch. The second earlobe a little more painful. She gave us the instructions: wear 24/7. 3 weeks in and then she can switch them out. Clean 3x a day for 3 weeks. Wear 24/7 for at least 6-12 months. Plus they give you the maintenance solution. She ended up grabbing some great body spray (the salted caramel was so decadent- loved it!) and then on our way. I highly recommend. I observed hygiene procedures beforehand and after. Thank you Melissa! Two thumbs up!
