I'm disabled so shopping can be a challenge. I found everyone working here to nothing but cheerful, polite and going out of their way to be helpful. They're all people, so if you're nasty to them you're probably going to get the same attitude back. This is a fairly large store as dollar stores go and you're sure to find everything you need plus a dozen other things you didn't need until you saw them. Don't hesitate to go here and look around. Remember, even though it's a "dollar" store everything is now $1.25. One day nobody's gonna know what a dollar bill even looks like. read more

My 82 year old mother and I visited this Dollar Tree store. They have bathrooms in the rear corner that have been available to customers in the past. The bathrooms, per their associate, are no longer "public" restrooms, not even for elderly customers with an obvious emergency. They need to seriously reconsider their policy. Wow! The two cashiers are great at making you feel uncomfortable. My mask slipped to the tip of my nose, as I'm walking up to the register. She asks me to fix it so I did. After I fixed it the cashiers would not stop talking about how disrespectful I am for not wearing my mask properly. I'm sorry but they do slip down sometimes and I fixed it without a issue. I appreciate her asking me to fix it for the safety of her and myself but please don't continue to talk about me as I'm checking out to make me feel uncomfortable. Also after I purchased I had to put my items into boxes as she walked away to chat with the other employee about me. read more

Staff at this location makes false accusations and discriminates. My receipt shows the cashier's name was Trinity. She assumed that my mother and I were a lesbian couple and said I had to stand 6 feet away from her due to the COVID-19 epidemic. My mother corrected her and said that I was her daughter and suddenly Trinity said " oh you don't have to stand 6 feet away, it's okay if you are family members." There is no logic behind her response. If she was truly worried about the COVID-19 epidemic and having people standing 6 feet apart, her answer should not have changed whether or not an adult child was standing in line with their parent or if it was a lesbian couple/ any person of the LGBTQ standing in line together. She's clearly homophobic based off her assumption and how her answered changed when she was corrected. read more

This Store by far, of all the Dollar Tree stores in the area has the best customer service. The staff is always helpful and you can always find someone to help you. The store is generally in good condition, meaning good selection of products, sales floor not cluttered always clean. Holiday/seasonal items sell fast so get what you need when you see it. Customer service here is complete crap. Literally stood in line for 30 minutes just to be told the line needs to split up between other registers because the chick "needs to take her lunch" and have stood here for yet another 45 damn minutes. Keep in mind I have a fractured spine and can not be standing for an hour and 15 minutes straight. Love this store. The prices are amazing. You can buy an amazing assortment of cards, some Hallmark, for a dollar. Gift bags ,groceries. Etc etc etc And today I had the greatest check out clerk as well to top it off. Plus when a line developed they open another lane. I am amazed at the prices compared to regular shopping. Overall I like this Dollar Tree. It is a larger store with the usual Dollar Tree items. I purchased a nice glass cleaner here and some other necessities. Unfortunately, the phone charger didn't work and one of my items was ruined by leaking bathroom cleaner. Another issue with this store is that they do not allow customers to use the restroom. I spent $30.00 here and had to stop and go to Mc Donald's just to use the restroom. read more

The owner of the store Keiss and Weiss's father is a douch bag. He is rude, uneducated, and lacks customer skills. I had just purchased an item and realize that it was broken and he wouldn't even exchange it for the same exact item. Of course it was just a measly dollar, but it was the purpose. He pointed to the bottom of the receipt and said "Can you read this?!" and just walked away. Rude as f**k! He treats women like garbage and has a mind set where men are superior than women. I'm gonna give my honest review. Mostly everytime, I come into this dollar tree I'm not greeted like a " hey welcome in!" Or anything which I find a little particular. There's been a few times I've had a rude cashier. Most of the time I go in I mostly go in for whatever I need get checked out and leave. It just feels like the employees are so done and kinda angry sometimes. Very disappointed with their customer service that I'm so compelled to make a review. Went there yesterday to purchase several vases to make centerpieces for a party. After I paid the associate Katrina at the register, she proceeded to start talking to her coworker while the stack of vases were still on the register. I asked her nicely if there's paper to wrap the vases or container so I can transport them safely and she said no. Then I ask maybe can I have a bag? Then she said, well I didn't charge you for it. I then asked, Maybe a box? Then another associate said that they actually do. Anyway I got the vases and went to another Dollar Tree for more of the vases I purchased and the service in the Dollar Tree at Balfour was so much better. I purchased 32 vases & the she knew already that I needed a box for them. read more

Let me tell you, dollar trees are super underrated! A lot of people think of dollar tree as being cheap... But honestly it's a great place to shop at. First off, if you need some school supplies, index cards, pens, notebooks, whatever... You should definitely check here first. Index cards here are 200 for $1. Other places would be between $3 to $5 dollars. And yeah the pens might not be the best, but you get 10 pens for $1. What can beat that? Second, I know people say to not buy food from here, but just check the expiration date before you buy and you'll be good. People always say they had problems with the food, but as for myself, never have I encountered anything. Other good buys include, greeting cards and party decorations and supplies. Greeting cards here are $1 compared to $3 to $9 dollars at target or something. Again, if you need a greeting card, definitely come to the dollar tree. As for party decorations, they are always updated with the most recent holiday. Yes, some do look cheap, but some are actually pretty decent. Oh one more thing, the party bags and wrappers/boxes! They are suchhhhh a steal here for the holidays! They have nice decorative supplies for only $1 comparing it to $5 to $10 at your local target or Walmart. Overall, dollar trees are very underrated and should be shopped at more! Just because it's $1 doesn't count as you being cheap, it will define you as a smart shopper! This dollar tree is nice and well organized with super friendly staff. Great place for party goods! Invitations to streamers to party favors for boys or girls in plenty of bright colors! Balloons also! Great place to get plastic bowls and utensils to put that home made macaroni salad in when going to that family BBQ! Especially since you never seem to get that bowl or utensil back! Since you only spent a whole $1 on it ...faaahghettabout it! Plenty of sizes of foil pans to choose from. Have you just started camping? Well this is your place to start your camping kitchen! They have almost everything you need...even get a plastic tub to store it all in! They have plastic plates, cups, coffee cups. They carry frozen food and perishable items too. Definitely one of the better kept and better organized Dollar Trees I've been to. I tend to look over customer service because I figure, it's the Dollar Tree. You know what to expect. Customer service was average, nobody really trolls the aisles asking if you need help and the cashiers are always very speedy and friendly. A downside for me is that it doesn't have more of a grocery store to it. I've been to one in Fairfield that had a fully stocked, very fresh grocery section and it made the Dollar Store experience quite helpful! read more

I would like to say that if you plan on not providing bags for the customer you as a responsible business owner you would post it in plain sight so that customers are aware prior to standing in long lines for their purchase. I feel as though I was blackmailed into my purchase. The cashier stated that they don't have any and had the nerve to question me on whether or not I brought any.... This is another sing of poor and degrading behavior of our local businesses. I believe if you're plan on charging for not having any or making customers bring their own you should at least notify them before purchase, so they can chose to shop elsewhere. On that point just add the cost of the bags to the cost per item AS BUSINESSES HAVE ALWAYS DONE.... Why add an additional fee/tax to what we all already pay.... If this trend is allowed to continue, all of us working class people will continue to struggle. Was in the area and stopped by this store to pick up a couple of things. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I didn't end up buying anything because there was a huge line at all the cash registers. I never understand why it takes so long to check people out at a store where everything costs a dollar. It was holiday season so everyone was going crazy at the holiday aisle. I remember seeing some items that I have never seen at other dollar store locations - I wanted to purchase but I wasn't about to wait in long lines. Anyway, none the less, the store was pretty well stocked and organized (unlike other locations Ive been to) and larger than most stores in my area. Definitely a good dollar store location but to avoid crowds you may want to come early in the morning or avoid during holiday season all together! P.S. there is plenty of parking outside even though it is a shared parking lot. read more

I'll forever shop here. However as you know the lines are always long. Someone decided to open up a cashier line and invited the next person in line over. I was behind the next person in line. So me and the person in front of me start walking to the checkout line, and this guy comes out in front of us. The cashier lady starts checking him out. Me and the lady in front of me just look at each other in disbelief that the checkout lady continued with him anyway. We knew it was wrong but we also felt like it's just not worth our time to complain about. But I am only writing this review for the simple fact that that was not good customer service. Rule number one you never cut in line, and if that rule doesn't apply whatever happened to ladies first!? And the cashier chose not to consider both. read more
