I had purchased from here before and I loved the service and attention to detail but this last time was so upsetting and I will never refer nor come back!! The owner is inconsiderate and a liar !! The young girl helped me get some suits on promotion so I was like awesome cool thank you anything helps. Then a month before my event they call me oh btw the price went up so we can honor 2 but not the rest! I was livid I went to the shop of course the owner is nowhere to be found and they say sorry we can't do anything . So now I'm stuck paying the difference for the kids because they cannot afford 270 from 150. I call the suit place and they say they cannot do anything but put my complaint in I then go back to talk to the owner a couple days later , still doesn't want to help me. Won't look me in the eyes and kept walking away ! At that point I gave up and tell the owner to please not give the deposit to any of them except 1 kid since he paid in full and gave that name. He said ok will do!! Well guess what he didn't listen and now I'm 250 short again. The day of my daughters quince comes around and 2 boys were given the main chambelanes color vs 1 so I call them freaking out and they say sorry you can come and we can see if we have anything similar !! What!!! Seriously ?!! You messed up and I have to go to you!! She hung up on me and never answered again! My sisters end up going get something similar but way off still ! A mess from the get go but the bride wanted all dresses to be ordered from this boutique. I was called that my dress was ready...great, on my way, I'm 1.5 hours away. Arrived no dress to be found. They weren't worried no big deal they'll order now and it'll arrive the Tuesday before wedding. I arrive Tuesday, NO DRESS. They have me try on a dress two times my size, since now it's too late to order a new one :(, they say no big deal, seamstress will get it just right to my fitting, come back Friday ( day before wedding). I arrive Friday, took about 1 hour to find dress. Mind you I'm 1.5 hours away, they are now about to close. I was so done by this point. Saturday morning comes,damn dress is way too big on my whole upper body. I had to wear a scarf to cover my whole upper body or all the guests would've got a free show all night. I stopped by Martha's at the end of a long day of wedding dress shopping and this was the last spot before heading home, I wanted to give up, and I did not expect to find my dress here. Turns out, I found my dress here!! It was a nice dress name brand Mary's, and the staff here were so helpful. They altered the dress for me and on top of it, we discovered they also do event decorations! We had Martha's crew come set up my venue with ceiling decorations and nice chair covers. I couldn't ask for more from them. I didn't do any price comparisons to other companies but they were definitely affordable to us and we definitely didn't want to break the bank. I was so busy on my wedding day that I didn't even really notice them setting up, by the time I came out to peek, they were mostly set up, just doin their thing! At some point, they came and cleaned up all the decorations before we had to be out of the venue and I didn't even see them! They were so discrete and it was nice that we could count on them to get everything set up and taken down when needed. It was like I blinked and it was time to go and everything was already cleaned up. I loved my dress and got so many compliments one it. The woman doing the alterations adjusted the back to lace up, and brought in the front so that I could hide my bra. For someone smaller, the cut was very sexy and low, and would have looked great braless. This was a size 16 dress and I loved that they had stuff that went up to size 20 or 24. After having my baby I needed options for "va va boom" that was off the rack. I would buy here again! It's a quinceañera shop, but don't let that stop you from coming in. I speak so so Spanish and they speak perfect English if they would be a reason someone wouldn't go in. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would I am soooo disappointed in this location. 1st of all my mom bought 2 white flower girls dresses last week (saturday) for the next day (A program at church). Dresses were fine when my daughter and niece tried them on. The NEXT day the straps on both the dresses became loose and broke during the freakin program OMG!!! They KNEW the dress was falling apart yet still tried to sell them to the public SMFH. This is false advertisement on sooo many levels. My daughter was in her friends quincé recently, and we where told she had to get her dress at this place. So she went for her fitting and apparently they had to do some alterations to fit her better. So a week later we picked up the dress. This was a simple dress not much to it at all, and there were others just like it in the store. So it cost us about $100 all toghther . the next day at the party all of the girls wearing these dresses, had to holdcthrm on all night because they literaly were falling apart at the seems. Not to mention my daughters was too big even after the alterations. I've bought dresses at Ross that have lasted longer. I feel like I over paid for a cheap dress. read more

I rate this store a big 0! I ordered my prom dress here last year. I ordered it from a catalog . When I got it , it looked nothing like the picture it was a different color and I specifically told them I want a size 8 they even wrote it down , I got a fucking size 10! They had to do 3-4 alterations , it still fit me loose ! the last alteration I went the lady was there , my mom politely told her I'm sorry but this is still loose it's supposed to be tight since it was a mermaid dress , she answered very rudely " well don't try and say I didn't do anything cause I did and I can't do nothing else cause it has a lot of diamonds" I was so mad I literally cried right there my mom was so mad ! I didn't even wanna go to prom nomore ! I couldn't get another dress cause it was too late , the dresses usually take 3 weeks or so , We shouldn't of paid for it ! It was 400$ .. another thing I told them can you iron it ATLEAST ! from the bottom since it was wrinkly, they said sorry the iron is broken ?! Like really wtf .. My daughter is going to be the flower girl in my brother's wedding in October so she needed a dress. She is VERY picky about her dresses. I took her to Martha's so she could try dresses on to see if she liked any, rather than just ordering something online. Gaby was great. She asked my daughter (age 6) what she liked and asked me for the other things to keep in mind (cost, fit, color, etc.) then she pulled several choices. My daughter tried them on but we didn't LOVE any of them, so Gaby tried something different. She let my daughter look at the books and point out what she liked, then Gaby pulled those for her to try. Gaby was very patient with my daughter and very professional and nice to me. My daughter finally found a dress that we both loved. We sent a pic to the bride to be, who loved it too. We had to order it and were told it could take 2 weeks. 4 days later I got a call and it had arrived. Planned a party in less than a week! Went here for ribbons for our party favors, came on a Monday & it was ready by Thursday! Only downside is they charge $6 to tie them for you, that's half the price of what I paid for the ribbons! All in all it was a pleasant experience. read more

I have had luck purchasing two formal dresses. You can see the samples on the floor, and order yours from their books. Or you can buy off the rack, whatever works for you. Make triple sure, they order the right dress. Ask over and over when your dress will arrive and when can you try on the dress. Make sure you get measured.The store is dated, and heavily stocked. It's tight to maneuver in the dressing rooms. No one speaks good English, and customer service is not happening. But it's worth a try especially if you are hard to fit, and cannot buy off the racks. read more

I order my daughter's quinceanera invitations through this store because I was told they would only take a week WRONG its been a month and havent received them yet. The amazing thing was that the owner took my order and I specifically told her I wanted them like the sample (the invitation came with a ribbon). They dont return phone calls right away, no one knows anything, I felt like I talked to everyone in that store to get the status of the invitations. Got the wrong ribbon, I offered to pick up the ribbon in San Jose, they swore i would get it by Saturday and apparently UPS didnt deliver it and UPS doesnt deliver on Sundays. SO FRUSTRATING! Well we all picked a dreas it arrived 3 weeks later i went in to try it on. The dress needed some few alterations. They were very busy. The lady older one there told me to go to the front to pay it off so they can adjust it, so i did i went up to the guy the owner i believe to pay and he told the lady he was busy for her to charge me she said she couldnt they argue a little in front of me and other people i just tld them it was fine that ill come back some other time . Well i went back 3 days later and GUESS WHAT THEY SOLD MY DRESS To someone else ! And they said they couldnt order a new one because they dint make em anymore ! I was so mad i had to pick a similar dress to the rest of the bridesmaids luckly i was the maid of honor so it dint look that bad in the wedding . So a year later now and i decide to give them another opportunity i order a dress i asked a few times how long will it take to get it they say 2 to 3 weeks ! So i was like perfect excited with the dress i had order i get a call a week later from them saying oh im sorry but the dress you order will not be here by the date of your event my event its until september thats a month an a half away . I ordered two kissing balls for my daughters, they were the flower girls in a wedding. I placed my order in the store with the owner (Jose) we had a whole detailed conversation about the wedding being on Friday and how I would need to pick them up Friday morning. I did ask to pick them up Thursday night, which he told me that wasn't a good idea because he wouldn't want the flowers to wilt,but assured me they would be ready Friday morning at 10 AM when they open. I got there about 12 to pick up the flowers on Friday he wasn't even in the store it was two women that didn't speak English, One of them called him and he said the flowers won't be ready till 5 PM. The wedding started at 5:30 in Oakland... She gave me the phone and instead of trying to find a solution to the problem he thought it be better to argue with me on and tell me that I told him the wedding was Saturday. My receipt said Friday. He couldn't admit he was wrong and said "oh well" and did nothing to accommodate me. I can't figure out how they are still in business, they are so irresponsible and have horrible business ethic.
