Hello! ( Fairfield Location ) I am trying to get in contact with a manager at the Solano Town Center location. Today, June 7th around 2:30PM after I had just gotten off work at Victoria Secret/PINK ( YES, I WORK IN THE SAME MALL MYSELF ) your employee was discriminating against me and ask that she hold my items at the counter. Everyone else around had their items in their hands --- but, me being the ONLY black women shopping had to leave my items I wanted at the counter. When I questioned her she couldn't give me a answer. With me working retail too I know exactly why she wanted me to put my items at the counter --- So I just walked out. Very upset and fustrated as I wanted to try the new hair product they had. I interviewed at this location once, and I remember the manager--though I forgot her name. I think there are two managers, a mom and her daughter, both of Asian descent, and they seem very "traditionally" minded, if you know what I mean. During my interview with the daughter, she kind of insinuated that as a worker, we would basically have to approach and harass anyone who looked like they might be stealing. Two stars because they do actually have cute stuff but the customer service, hours of operation and return policy are a mess. You can't try things on and they don't allow returns- they'll give you store credit. As far as the hours of operation, they will close half an hour earlier than what's posted online. Store is just so weird and the employees are so rude and nasty. I asked the girl if she could hold my things while I continued to shop she acted like she she couldn't understand me and when she agreed her other employee had a very rude look on her face almost like a mean mug. Then later I decided to get the top on the mannequin because it was so cute and was the only size small the girl legit told me I couldn't buy the top now and that she wasn't going to take it off for me until tomorrow * Friday * that was my final straw I bought what I had and left. I also work retail and I have never told a customer she couldn't couldn't buy something on display until the next day that's the point of advertising something is so that they buy right off the mannequin. That's how you know you did a good job or dressing her!!! Ok .. So today 5/19/16 around 7:00 pm went to the store to buy some clothes... I take a skirt that was on the wall.. But I didn't ask for help, I show the skirt to my husband but he don't like it, so I put it back , they call the security for nothing, later my friends and I went to try another cloths .. When we were gonna pay , this worker named Maria stop us 3 and said that we were the only ones there by the wall .. She said that we stole the skirt ... I told her exactly where the skirt was so she said I thought you stole the skirt... i wish i could give no stars but i have to give one for the customer service i received not on one occasion but on 2 different occasions. as for the products and clothes offered i like because they have so much to choose from. Now for this black male with the fucked up hair yea he's an asswhole and not very customer service oriented he is very cut off dry and of no assistance to customers. I am a salon owner so i'm very familiar with customer service and how you treat people in general. on my first visit he was very dry and mean and it's not something he said but body language is very important when working in customer service and or sales this day he was on the floor and not once did he asked if i need help or was finding everything ok. when i spoke to him he was very standoffish. second time i came in to exchange an item he was working the register today and when i ask if i needed to leave my bag at the register while i looked he ignored me until i got louder and replied your fine then as i walked away him and another con worker began giggling and mumbling as i walked away. very unprofessional.
