Not Native is certainly not your average home decor store; for it truly holds some fantastically unique items you most likely will not find elsewhere. I actually worked at Not Native years ago, when it was located further down Oak street, and even then, they had some amazing stuff which almost left me broke before I even got paid.... Oh sweet temptation. Well, it has changed ownership since I worked there and (to me) it has changed for the better. The store seems to withhold some even more incredibly beautiful items, leaving me almost feeling broke by just taking a few steps in. The store is extremely spacious, filled with rustic, Tuscan- authentic decor, as well as unique and beautiful furniture. Some items are a little pricey, however there certainly are other affordable items within, just depends on your budget. So disappointed!! Ordered a bedroom set. Told owner "3 times" I do not want red stain. She assured me it wasn't red. Had me sign if need to exchange would give me in-store credit for full amount. Received bedroom set SCREAMING RED!! Soo disappointed. We are out the delivery $450 to deliver and $450 to send it back to the store. I would have never ordered if she didn't assure me it didn't have red stain. Don't buy out of the books. Make sure you can see product in person:( read more

I love this place. 70% of my home is filled with furniture, wall decor and accessories from Not Native. The ladies there are always very helpful and kind. They offer 50-65% off most of the time on the Decor and accessories. Also, if you pay cash you don't pay sales tax. They always offer decorating ideas and tips and even offer to come to your home to help with Interior Design. If they don't have exactly what you are looking for in the store they have a ton of books that you can order just about anything you need. They also have the best apple scented candle ever made. We dropped by here back in 2011 or so, just to look around we noticed beautifully crafted furniture pieces. We didn't see the living room set for us back then and didn't know about the catalogues they had with additional furniture sets so we didn't buy then. Last week we knew this was a good place to look when we were in need of replacing an old dining room set. The gals were fabulously super helpful! I want to say I love this store and the people that work there,but that where it ends . I have shopped here for years and me and my new wife bought a large round table chairs, and a china cabinet. I payed more to have it delivered. Let me say it would have been better if they just drove by and pushed it out of the truck. These clowns are you ready, ROLLED MY GLASS CHINA CABNET DOWN THE STREET TO MY HOUSE..........yes i said rolled and of corse it was damaged on one corner. It was a miracle it was just a one corner . I was livid and call the store right a way ,they said they were sorry and would fire them right away and come to look at the damage............she NEVER came. I would have let it go there, but the tape they put on the glass doors to ship it got on the wood and damage it.Soooo I called again she said she would come and check it out again..........you guest it, she never called or came. I called her and she now said she would send a man to look at the damage............he never came ........................(_)***&^$$#!!#@#%,needless to say i am ready pissed off at this point. I called again and she said she would just order another cabinet and it would be there soon.........didn't hear from them for weeks ,so I called she then tells me that she couldn't order a new one because we don't have the old box .......WTF........the one the they rolled the cabinet in and destroyed...............god kill me now .........this whole time by the way and the know this, my wife was having a very rough pregnancy (twins) and lossed one of the babies.........do you think their cared.......F NO!!!!!! WAIT theres more ,they said they would send another guy to look at the damage. He did come and looked at it and said he would to talk with the store about it.............that was weeks ago and I have hear NOTHING,even after calling many times and nothing. ........It is sad, becaue like I said they have great people and beautiful stuff there so what do I do now......? very sad customer Sandy and Richard read more

Very helpful staff! Every time you go to Not Native you are always properly greeted and told about the sales going on at the moment. The furniture is absolutely beautiful, they have lots of accessories and a variety of high quality candles. Furniture is unique & cute. The table we ordered we absolutely love and we feel like we got a good deal. Where my experience went ehh was delivery and communication. We ordered right before a holiday so the employee asked if delivery about 2 weeks out was ok? We weren't in a rush so I said yes. On the day they were supposed to deliver I called to get a time frame, I was told the delivery truck had broken down and couldn't make it. Fine, but a phone call would of been nice. She said they would call later that week to set up a delivery time. Friday there was still no call, so I called yet again. The truck was still out of service. Again, a phone call would of been great. She had the nerve to suggest that if we were in a rush we could come to the store and pick up the table ourselves. After we had waited over 3 weeks and paid delivery fees. Someone finally came out the week after. They should of credited us back the delivery fee and apologized and I would of been happy. read more
