I wanted to wait a few months before I left a review although I have been eager to share my experience. We ordered our couch back in July of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. It took 4 months to get our couch due to our fabric being delayed due to covid. Diana is absolutely amazing, she is a gem and they are very lucky to have her. She advised and supported us through the whole process. We LOVE our couch, it's elegant and best of all amazingly comfortable!!! We get so many compliments about how gorgeous the color and the fabric are! We picked the bella blue microfiber fabric. We chose a cuddler on one end and a chaise on the other. From day 1- the most important big step of the process in placing an order and discussing the details of my sofa for life to be Diana was there and went above and beyond of my expectations throughout the process. After few days, I found out that my mom will have her surgery in June and knowing my sofa's window time takes 8-12weeks. I asked Diana to help me out and see if they can expedite my sofa before my mom's surgery so she can relax in the living room with it although I know it's just a wishful thinking to expedite my order with all this COVID caused delays. We just purchased our second sofa from Sofas for Less! The first one was purchased from the Concord location in 2013 and the only reason we decided to get a new one was because we moved from a townhouse into a single family home and needed a larger sofa to fit the size of the living room appropriately. The old sofa was actually still in good condition (after living with two adults, a toddler and two cats!) so we passed it on to a close family friend. Diana helped us at the Antioch location and she has to be the nicest person you'll ever meet! She's genuinely interested in finding you the perfect sofa for your lifestyle and budget. She listened to our wishes and guided us in the right direction in terms of style, fabric type and color. She allowed us to take color samples of the fabric we selected to our home to compare them against the paint color on our walls. A darker shade of gray that we hadn't consider, but that she encouraged us to consider, actually ended up being the color of the sofa we ordered! Beware if Sofas for Less. We bought a sectional and storage ottoman from Sofas for Less and when it arrived, it was horrible. The salesperson was great and agreed that the sectional looked terrible and needed to be replaced. The owner said that he would replace the sectional initially. Then he decided that he would have it recovered instead. When we got the sectional back from being recovered, it looked even worse than it did before. We went back into the store to talk to the owner and he claimed that we had not told him about one of the problems that did not get fixed, which was a large gap between the corner and other pieces. He told us that his manufacturer has made him pay $800 for the recovering because they did not feel that their work was substandard. We gave Mel, the owner, another opportunity to fix the situation and have gotten no response to our email. As part of this situation, I have discovered that I am by far not the only customer that has had multiple issues with their sofas. The owner told me that I was just too picky and his quality was as good as Crate and Barrel and other stores. He also said that the sofa was going to look as it does within six months so what did it matter if it looked sloppy now. I never would have bought this sectional if I had expected it to look as it does after six months. The sofa is actually defective and is getting worse. It is supposed to be under warranty but apparently Mel has no intention of honoring his warranty. I am going to contact the BBB and the DA's office tomorrow. Luckily there is recourse when one has been ripped off and insulted by a business owner. Incidentally, I have the original email that I sent to The Sofas for Less email account that clearly shows the problem with the corner. So for him to say that we did not tell him about it is ridiculous. read more

Thank you sofas for less!! My fiancé and I decided on this beautiful couch from here & customized it to what we thought we wanted. Diana was so accommodating and helped us through all of it. upon the couches arrival (in 2 weeks!) I wasn't happy with the way the cuddler piece looked. My fiancé and I called it the check mark couch. I was so upset & freaking out because I was BEYOND worried I was stuck with this expensive couch I wasn't happy with. I went into the store & told Diana how I felt and showed her the pictures. She was so sweet (as usual) and told me it was an honest mistake & she would get back to me on where we could go from here. She spoke with the owner & got back to me within a few hours & told me we would be able to switch out the cuddler section for a straight piece & give me an L shaped couch. I had jaw surgery a few weeks ago and have to sleep upright for 6 weeks. I have been toughing it out the past couple of weeks being propped up on the couch with pillows, but if I kept that up for the next month I would need a backeotomy. Hence, the search for a recliner was on. My husband dragged me, swollen and drooling, through multiple furniture stores, and for the most part if places almost no one had non-leather recliners in stock that could be delivered ASAP. Sofas for Less had 5 different ones to chose from, which we had delivered within a day. The owner, Mel, gave us free delivery as he tried to break the chair into two parts so it would fit in our car, but was having problems and didn't want to damage the chair. Delivery worked out better as I am not supposed to lift anything heavier than a phone book anyway. As Roxann mentioned, Mel was pleasant and there was absolutely no pressure. The store is crammed with furniture, but hey, that is what you stopped by to see, anyway. The delivery guys were professional and courteous. In a funny twist, the main guy noticed a pile of firewood that the previous owners had left (along with damage to the chimney so we've never used the fireplace), so I effectively tipped them with firewood! read more
