Stopping by the Dollar Tree in Thrasher's Corner in Bothell today, Wednesday 9 July 2025, I found abundant parking and a well stocked store. The offerings in cards and candy were both rich in variety. I went with a few of the candy options. Aisles were easy to navigate and wide enough for two people to shop opposite sides of the aisle at the same time. There's a certain expectation from Dollar Tree and this locations mostly hits. It's typically pretty clean, and the staff is always friendly. It sometimes is missing on selection. Lately, there has hardly been anything in the freezers in the back and there are constantly big gaps missing from the sodas up front. I'd like to think this just means they're doing good business, but when the back freezer has the same poor selection one week to the next I'm sure it has to do with stock as well. read more

I just left the Dollar tree on Bothell Everett Highway in Bothell. The store was a bit chaotic due to the coming holiday of Valentine's Day. There was one cashier taking care of a line of five or more people. I purchased a total item of maybe 10 or more rushed out of the store, realized I did not have a receipt. Within minutes. I returned back in the store was told that they could not reprint my receipt at that point I insisted on a receipt due to the fact that if I had a return, how could I prove that I purchased this item The person at the register proceeds to go through the trash receipt by receipt to find my receipt at this point the line is getting longer and longer. A so-called manager by the name of Melissa comes out, argues with me, throws me out the store with a cart that you carry in your hand and refuse to talk to me. I'm a customer. I received the most horrible customer service in the world. I know the manager by the name of Shawn, I've been there many times however at this point, we will no longer go there if you want to go to the dollar store on Bothell highway and deal with the rudest Melissa please do she's a miserable person that has no customer service. I had an issue with some staff at this store that required contact with the corporate office. I made 3 requests ti have someone contact me with no response from them. My issue was about customer service that required corporate contact me. Since their values are to drive right behaviors forward, the people at the top failed in their integrity and accountability portion with me. read more

I know what you're thinking... A 5 star Dollar Tree experience? Yep! I stopped in here to pick up a few things before an Elite Event - nothing too big. Or so I thought... Turns out they had their first rollout of fall decor out. I succumbed and bought like $20 worth of stuff. At the Dollar Tree, that's doing a little damage. For starters, this store was very clean. Large parking lot. Literally no hassle to deal with from the second I stepped in! What really took the experience over the top were the employees. The employees here were SO kind. They seemed like they seriously, legitimately, love their jobs. That's rare to see in retail, but these ladies were killin' it and had me leaving with a smile. They also complimented my lashes... That alone is 5 stars. Amazing Dollar Tree location. Will be back if needed and in the area! read more

Not a bad selection at this dollar tree. Keep in mind that they are $1.25 tree now! I was able to pick up nearly everything for a baby shower I was throwing. Employees were helpful and kind when I couldn't find things. They did mention that more "niche" party items weren't as common anymore. read more

Yay for Dollar Tree!!! I can buy a can of bathroom cleaner for... a dollar. Hand lotion? It's a dollar. Need a toilet brush? That's a dollar. Lasagna pan? Can I get a price check on that please? It's a dollar. Cheap, pretty, Christmas "china" and glasses and stemware for a party that I wouldn't break out the good stuff for? Ah... a dollar each. The store is usually well organized and clean, the staff is intelligent and friendly and the price is always right. read more

This is one of the better locations I've been to in the surrounding area. It's clean and more organized. It's a decent size store, so they have most of the typical Dollar Tree merch. The staff was very pleasant. They had helium, which seems to have been an issue as of late due to helium shortages. It's part of a strip with a lot of parking. I would have no hesitation coming here for future Dollar shopping. read more

This DT is right next to the laundromat we were using, so we stopped in to get more detergent and some snacks. We thought we only grabbed what we "needed" and still ended up spending nearly $20! :) The shelves were well stocked and it was neat. The aisles were easy to get through. The employees weren't overly friendly, but we didn't need help finding anything. I'd definitely stop here again. read more

If you want to be disrespected and be treated like a trash and want to be told that they are giving you favor by having you in the store, then you can visit this store. The ladies there have no manners or even understand meaning of customer service! They will yell, scream and disrespect you for even asking a simple question! Used to work at Dollar Tree (don't even get me started) and this by far is the best of the ones I've been in up here. They seem to be a little sparse on their inventory but they make up for that in cleanliness and the friendly people working here. Things are tidy and it was definitely easy to find stuff. People don't rate the store based on the practices of the company - Dollar Tree gives nowhere near enough hours to have multiple cashiers all day long and quite honestly you're lucky if you can find a location with more than a couple at a time. When you're paying a dollar for stuff you need to temper your expectations going in, no need to bite off the heads of people that are working hard to put food on their families tables or a roof over their heads. read more

Look- this is a dollar store. You can't expect target quality here. From what I've seen this place is a good option for dollar store items. Good food and cleaning supply options. Just remember to check expiration dates on food cause most items I came across were expired and had to dig around to find non-expired food read more

The worst Dollar Tree Ever!!!! There's always one cashier and many customers while the other workers are idly standing around. This one cashier older lady with a stank attitude along with bad hair was rude to us. We got in line and she said that the register wasn't open, we went back to the long line. Then the old fart, goes to that line and says that register was open. I told her why did she lie and she said we take the next person that's been waiting long and that's the way we do things around here. I understand that the person who was in line waiting would be next, but why lie and say that the check out is closed, just call the next person over. She was a rude female dog. Beware of the ugly fart if you visit this particular Dollar Tree. read more

I'm a little annoyed that Stephanie, one of the workers here, was incredibly unpleasant and rude for no reason. My husband asked her if they carried any safety pins and her response was as if she was annoyed. I get it, it might have been a long day, she might hate her job. Whatever. But fake it. You're working in customer service, no? Be helpful and be pleasant. It's part of the job. On top of that, she didn't even help us properly and we still were looking for the safety pins and while we were at the register (she was also the cashier), she eventually grabbed the safety pins herself and showed it to us. Was that hard? We were asking you in the first place. And the customer after us in the line had some paper (no idea what it was) but she literally responded with the rudest and most annoyed "what is this?" My thing is... we get it. No one loves their job. But that doesn't mean you should be rude to all the customers because YOUR day is shitty. read more

The employees at this store are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they do a good job of calling more cashiers to the check-out stands when needed. Today Tahnya took the time to find paper to wrap some glass items for me even though I told her she didn't need to do so. This place is a joke and don't even waste your time making a recommendation as the little old ladies that work there would obviously rather be somewhere else. 30 minutes to get 6 balloons. Are you serious? The manager walks around dong nothing when he could be helping his staff. It is a pity cause it could be a pretty decent store with good deals but their customer service is seriously lacking. read more

Very few checkers - today, on a busy Saturday - two checkers, 2 lines with 10 people in each, one checker stops to make balloons, a customer who was holding a place in line for a friend allows her in with a cart full. Walked out on a full basket of my own. Ugh. read more

This store is dirty and only one cashier with 4 other employees standing around doing nothing with 6 people in line. Then if you want cash back when finally paying they try to charge you a processing fee..... completely ignored company. Trying to charge a dollar to get $10, is a 10% charge.... wow completely shocked by the stupidity of this company. read more

I go here a couple times a month usually for birthday cards or cards for other special occasions. You can get 2/$1 which is awesome compared to $2.99+ for a card at Safeway. Great deals and good selection of lots of other stuff too that I end up grabbing when I go there for my cards. One thing though...is it just me or does it seriously smell like kitty litter in there?! Every time I go there it smells like cat turds. So if you're willing to deal with that one downside for the awesome prices you're good to go! read more
