Thought about replacing my work shoes, and boy was it a wise decision pick a pair in Brooks Outlet. I was informed that this is the only Brooks outlet across the nation which made is more special. The employees were really helpful and I was able to find my shoes. To put it in perspective, Brooks is not as cushy as Hoka or On. But it is sufficient enough not to have any foot pain from hours of walking. What is great and above and beyond any shoes I've is its excellent heel lock. My heels are absolutely locked on so this shoes feels nimble. When in Bothel, I implore you to check out Brooks Outlet for your next pair of shoes.

I never thought I'd write a review for a shoe store, but I am since my experience exceeded expectations by many folds. Aksana (or Aksan) at the store is absolutely great. She observed me walking with shoes on and within 30 seconds asked me... - if I had any trouble with my left foot and pain in my left knee - Yes, spot on! I've had that since a couple of years and it's pretty bad. - if I had flat feet history with the left one being more flat - Yes, I've been told since I was a kid. These are known problems I've had for years. I had the same conclusions offered to me after a 20 minute gait analysis at Road Runner, using Video cameras, Treadmill and a Foot Mold. They were correct as well, but Aksan found those issues just seeing me walk for 30 seconds. I'm super impressed. She later helped me out with a few different models, without influencing my brain with the marketing and science behind the shoes or even their price. She just kept asking me what I felt and noticed in the shoes and after a few shoes told me why I'm liking some and not liking the others. After trying out a few more I finally decided on the Transcend 4s. The point of writing this review is that, I had initially tried shopping in a couple other stores, as well as Amazon Wardrobe (which let's you try stuff for a week), but nothing compares to shopping at a store with a helpful and knowledgeable person helping you make a decision. Thank you!

No color choices in my size...but that's ok I'm wearing shoes!!

I have been unable to purchase walking shoes for 5 years due to my foot injury. Today was my first time buying shoes since then, and more concerning, since surgery. I went in wearing my boot and a compression brace nervous about how shoe shopping was going to go. My surgeon recommended Brooks shoes either Addictions, or Adrenaline. I'm grateful there's an outlet store so close! Anyway upon entering the store there is a ton of great merchandise. Sports bras, exercise pants, tops, tanks, socks, and of course, shoes. An employee that had just finished up with some one greeted me as I entered the store and asked if I needed help. When I said yes she immediately started filling me with info about the shoes, styles, colors, etc. I use to be a size 8 in Brooks. Today I was a 9 Wide, which unfortunately limited my options.....COMPLETELY. But she helped me remove my boot and attempt to shove my mess of a foot into shoes. It's difficult to buy shoes when you haven't waked in 3 months. The employee (I wish I had her name because she was AWESOME) was patient, and helpful, giving me tips on ways to improve my comfort. I ended up with a great new pair of shoes (I'm pretending they are Seahawks colors) and I will definitely be back for other items once I'm really up and walking. Great experience, great selection (other than in my size), great employees.

The available selection is highly curated by the store managers, with road-tested feedback on shoe models that enhance comfort and minimize pinching and pain. The store doesn't have mind-numbing, vast choices. It's usually endless choice that leads to paralysis. However store clerks do in-house fitting that gets the customer an appropriate shoe model which has proven to work well for many other people with similar foot issues. I bought a paid of HOKA trainers there...nothing fancy, not a huge range of choices, but it was a good choice to reduce my foot pain. Sometimes the focused care of store clerks who have seen multitudes of customers with similar foot conditions and can make optimal recommendations is better than dazzling yet confusing racks of shoe model options.

Hire pressure sales tactics wasted my time and money. I wanted to get a pair of Brooks Beast…read moresneakers to replace my current pair. I had gotten the previous pair from Sole Perfection so I went back there. They didn't have any available in my size (Mens 12.5 EE). But rather than offer to order the pair, the sales clerk raved about Hoka Transport. The width felt snug, but it was close enough that I bought it. 2 months later the inside heel had already started wearing out, leading to the hard plastic painfully poking into my heel. Sole Perfection offered to replace it as a warranty replacement and told me they had another in my size. So I made the trip there only to find they didn't have my size, only 12.5 D. So I left empty handed. A week later, they had the right size, but it was a different color. Not a problem for me, so I go back a 3rd time. But I could barely get my feet in because of how much they pinched the sides of my feet. The sales clerk assured me it would take a day or 2 to adjust. Nope, just as painful as ever. So I'm just going to order a pair of Brooks Beasts from Amazon. I'm stuck with my basically unwearable pair of Hokas and I'm out nearly $200. I'm upset at Hoka for making crappy quality shoes. And I'm upset at Sole Perfection for not listening to me when I said what brand of sneaker I wanted to buy. Dec 9 edit - I will raise my review to 2 stars. I appreciate that store staff tried to make things right. But they weren't able to. Ultimately I spent $190 on sneakers I could only wear for 5 weeks.

This is the location closest to my house and I love going here!…read more I find their clothing section to be very small. The women's section was only about 5 racks last time I went and 3 were clearance. I wanted to look at sweaters and didn't even see any. The home, accessory, and beauty sections are great! They have so many cute bags at this location. I also love the K-Beauty they carry. The home decor is so cute, but very seasonal, so be sure to look for what you want about a month early. I went Sept 1 and they had their full display of Halloween candles, but I imagine as mid-October approaches they may be in shorter supply. I find somedays I totally score with deals here and sometimes I leave empty handed. Sometimes the line is SUPER long, and sometimes it is short. They do have a great line system and move people through quickly, other than the employees being required to try to get you to sign up for a credit card.

Thank you to Rida and the entire team for making this store such a wonderful place to shop!

Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job. Thank you for what you're doing, and hang in there ladies!

My feet have gotten…read morewider with age and suddenly I found myself having to use the store like this to accommodate my comfort. They have been in the business of serving people with wide feet for nearly 40 years. I've seen them on the road as I've driven from Seattle to the Edmonds Ferry but I never paid attention to them until I needed them. I went in on a day when I had to have a pair of shoes that we're going to be as comfortable as possible for the evening, as I had a function that I was responsible for and the shoes I had in my suitcase we're not going to be good enough for those hours. I went in and was greeted very cheerfully by the employees. I was fortunate enough to have the owner's son come out and work on helping me find the appropriate shoes. The owner and I went through a number of shoes after sizing my feet and I settled on one pair. The shoes are quite expensive but they seem to be pretty quality with a decent enough range to get what you're looking for. For me unfortunately I had socks on the day that I bought the shoes and I normally do not wear socks with my shoes. So while they fit perfectly when I bought them they're a bit too big. However, I decided to keep them cuz overall they're comfortable enough but they are definitely size just slightly too big. About the store's layout and inventory: It's a very small store with not a lot of room in it or a lot of inventory. Apparently, they have a really store much bigger in size and with far more choices. It is down in South King County. I'll have to visit someday. This store is in a very busy section right off a very congested roadway. So it's a little challenging to get in and out of their very small parking lot in the front of the building. I think they have parking in the back but I didn't try to drive around and figure that out. All that said though if you have bigger feet or wider feet that need special attention, this is the place to look. There is no other store like this. I really donappreciate how, over the last 40 years, they knew that there are so many people that need better foot care. They serve customers well,in the form of selling well fitting shoes for wide feet. They figured it out back then, and continue to deliver.
