Thought about replacing my work shoes, and boy was it a wise decision pick a pair in Brooks Outlet. I was informed that this is the only Brooks outlet across the nation which made is more special. The employees were really helpful and I was able to find my shoes. To put it in perspective, Brooks is not as cushy as Hoka or On. But it is sufficient enough not to have any foot pain from hours of walking. What is great and above and beyond any shoes I've is its excellent heel lock. The store had styles and sizes for my family both times. Despite the store having 4 employees, 3 of whom were not helping anyone, there was no greeting, no ask if we needed help, walked by us several times looking away. As a visitor to the Seattle area, I didn't find the 20 so mile (each way) trip worth it. As a runner, seeing a Brooks outlet is like finding a diamond in a rough; most running stores rarely discount Brooks. Glycerin (from last year) were being sold around $95 for women and Ghost 10 (also last year's model) were being sold for $75. Sizing is hit or miss, there weren't any Ghost in popular sizes (I.e. common average shoe sizes). This was the same for bras as well. If your size is on one spectrum then you might have better luck. Some drawbacks about the store- (-)- -Not that many common sizes from the experience I had visiting June 2019 -Pricing is a hit or miss. Sports bra varied between $15-25, pants / capris to about $30ish - very similar to competitors like Nike -advertising "UV protection" is too vague. I like UV protection and actually seek these items out. Under armor is more transparent about their UPF score (the score for sun protection for clothes). Technically a regular shirt offers some UV protection so it makes me wonder how much their products do to reduce sun rays from being absorbed across. Is it substantial or just a gimmick? (+)- Friendly customer service Organized tips- I would recommend you call before you make the drive to check on inventories / sales. read more

I never thought I'd write a review for a shoe store, but I am since my experience exceeded expectations by many folds. Aksana (or Aksan) at the store is absolutely great. She observed me walking with shoes on and within 30 seconds asked me... - if I had any trouble with my left foot and pain in my left knee - Yes, spot on! I've had that since a couple of years and it's pretty bad. - if I had flat feet history with the left one being more flat - Yes, I've been told since I was a kid. These are known problems I've had for years. I had the same conclusions offered to me after a 20 minute gait analysis at Road Runner, using Video cameras, Treadmill and a Foot Mold. They were correct as well, but Aksan found those issues just seeing me walk for 30 seconds. I'm super impressed. She later helped me out with a few different models, without influencing my brain with the marketing and science behind the shoes or even their price. She just kept asking me what I felt and noticed in the shoes and after a few shoes told me why I'm liking some and not liking the others. After trying out a few more I finally decided on the Transcend 4s. The point of writing this review is that, I had initially tried shopping in a couple other stores, as well as Amazon Wardrobe (which let's you try stuff for a week), but nothing compares to shopping at a store with a helpful and knowledgeable person helping you make a decision. Awesome. If you already know you wear Brooks athletic shoes, this is definitely the place to go. My wife and I both wear Brooks already having independently selected them over many other brands at another store several years ago. We were very impressed with price, selection and service here. There were so many people working there, and the guy helping my wife buy new shoes was versed in their products. It is an outlet and they may not feature the very latest revisions of every shoe, if that's important to you. We don't care about that, year old is more than good enough. I have been unable to purchase walking shoes for 5 years due to my foot injury. Today was my first time buying shoes since then, and more concerning, since surgery. I went in wearing my boot and a compression brace nervous about how shoe shopping was going to go. My surgeon recommended Brooks shoes either Addictions, or Adrenaline. I'm grateful there's an outlet store so close! Anyway upon entering the store there is a ton of great merchandise. Sports bras, exercise pants, tops, tanks, socks, and of course, shoes. An employee that had just finished up with some one greeted me as I entered the store and asked if I needed help. When I said yes she immediately started filling me with info about the shoes, styles, colors, etc. I use to be a size 8 in Brooks. Today I was a 9 Wide, which unfortunately limited my options.....COMPLETELY. But she helped me remove my boot and attempt to shove my mess of a foot into shoes. It's difficult to buy shoes when you haven't waked in 3 months. The employee (I wish I had her name because she was AWESOME) was patient, and helpful, giving me tips on ways to improve my comfort. I ended up with a great new pair of shoes (I'm pretending they are Seahawks colors) and I will definitely be back for other items once I'm really up and walking. The Brooks factory outlet is the best, and only, place I know of to buy Brooks Running merchandise at awesome prices. It is a Seattle-based company, and this store is just NE of Seattle in a Bothell (Canyon Park area) strip mall. At any given time, the store always has "past-season" men's and women's shoes and clothing. The sizes and styles are sometimes limited, and are available until they sell out, and are then replaced by new shipments of "past-season" merchandise. Sometimes, the store will get in shipments of sample clothing (almost always size medium in both men's and women's). They also sometimes get factory seconds on shoes, which are always awesome deals. Twice a year, the store has a "truckload" sale, in which for an entire weekend they set up tents in the parking lot and get huge shipments of past-season merchandise, samples, and factory seconds. Truckload sales are always insanely busy, especially in the morning on the first day of the sale. (Think Black Friday shopping lines.). These sales are always at the beginning of fall and the beginning of spring. You can be guaranteed to know the sale dates if you sign up for emails from the store, which you need to do in-store (or over the phone), as they do not have a website. At least once a year, the store has other events which usually involve a big shipment of sample clothing. Emails also alert customers to these events. The store manager has always replied to my emails, and the in-store staff have always been helpful. I wouldn't count on the staff to help you find the "right shoe" for you - a speciality running store would do a better job with that. However, if you already know the shoes that are best for you, or are just willing to try them all on to find your favorite fit, the Brooks outlet store is the place for you. I personally think that Brooks Running makes the best running shoes available. Excellent craftsmanship, a variety of styles/fits for different types of feet/strides, and fashionable colors. In addition, the vast majority of their shoes are made from synthetic materials and use vegan adhesives. I also love that it is a local company! read more

I just came back from having an amazing experience at Brooks. Today I walked in and the lady there named Lauren saw me walking and immediately knew by evaluating my stride that my shoes were too old and actually not right for me. Since I have size 15 -- yes they called me Bigfoot in school -- I find it almost impossible to get good sports shoes. Well Lauren took one look at my feet and knew the right pair of shoes for me. This woman is a "shoe whisperer". She has this uncanny ability to look at a person walking and tell you exactly what is wrong with your shoes and suggests the best shoe type for you. I've never been so enthusiastic about a "shoe" store in my life. This lady is incredible and I want to share my enthusiasm for the amazing customer service I got here today. They had a variety of shoes in stock in his size (15!!!) which is difficult to find in other stores. If you are buying for your kid for sports, be sure to mention it. We got a 15% discount for HS cross country. The only thing I don't love is their return policy. 30 days if only worn indoors. Almost everything was 50% (or more) off retail price, and this even included wildly overpriced outerwear, shoes, and sports bras. Seriously. Moving Comfort sports bras are 50% off. The DW loves that brand, and it isn't cheap. So to find them at 50% off here? SCORE. Obviously as it goes with outlets, selection can be hit or miss. Some days the pickings are great, and others, the pickings are slim. And of course you're not going to find the most current Brooks/Moving Comfort goods here. But considering how much all this stuff costs at MSRP/retail, you're doing yourself a favor by perusing the racks here. I just wish I lived closer! read more

It's a little out of the way, but I found good price for running shoes and gear. I was told by my running group buddy that there's a Brooks Sports Outlet in Bothell. I was very excited to check. After 3 missing turns, I finally found it. It's not too bad, is it? At least, I will not miss it next time when I visit. I bought two pairs of running shoes (original price $110) but outlet price for prior year model only cost me $80 a pair. Also, I bought a running jacket (well, it's still a bit too small, but I figure out after all the running I will probably fit just fine) original price $120, but outlet price is $50. I was super happy! When you know you need to replace your running shoes every 300-400 miles, the latest model is not so important! Rotating a couple pairs of running shoes can really get you a while. read more

Was really excited to check this place - I used to work in this neighborhood a very long time ago and their "store" was in the back of their corporate offices. Fast forward a decade, decided I needed a new pair of running shoes and lots of people I know LOVE their Brooks! The staff was all really young and only worried about what they are going to buy when they get off work (the manager - who was also very young, was trying to keep them on task but they basically ignored him). God forbid I would need help, I did get some good information on what to get because there was a gal in front of me who asked the right questions to the manager boy. They have a very limited amount of 7.5, 8, 8.5's. - yes, they do run small get a size up! After much searching, I did find a great pair of sample running shoes for $24.00 and got 2 packs of socks (4 pr total) for $16 (not a great deal). So I got out of here for under $50 - will definitely go back if I like the feel of these shoes. read more

Seriously, if you need great quality running clothes on a budget then go here. You will get top of the line running pants, wicking shirts, running coats/vests all around 50% off regular price. They also have a large selection of shoes and Brooks is really one of the best running shoes out there. Check out bins on the floor and the wall in the back of the store for really great markdowns and be sure to get on their mailing list for their truckload sale that happens twice a year. The staff's are knowledgeable and will help you find the perfect based on your pronation/supination.. I bought a transcend which I still use and will go back next year for my next.. LOVE Brooks. My feet are weird- thin with crazy high arches. Like I have placed my car key inside my shoe on long runs and it didn't bother me- high arches... I have never found an adequate cushioned high arch support shoe until this company. They will accommodate whatever your foot shape is. I bought 2 pair of the glycerin for under $60 because they were on super clearance. I then went back a month later and bought the Brooks Pure for $39! This outlet has some crazy amazing deals! It is running shoe heaven. And they have two major super sales on top of that each year. I absolutely love this place! First, I love Brooks shoe! I own many pairs of their shoes as they are the absolute best for running and working out! They also are the most durable! Second, this store always has really good prices and you can almost always find shoes that are on sale. The staff is also incredibly nice and helpful. They will do a gate analysis for you to help you find your perfect shoe fit. Third, if you are super lucky you can go in when they are having one of their major sale days and walk out with sometimes up to 3 pairs of shoes for the price of 1! She was extremely kind and helpful throughout my whole shopping process. I come here every 3 months and load up on about 3 pairs everytime. They've got a good selection even for an odd size like me (13 2E) and the associates are always friendly.
