It's a dollar tree but this one is tiny and it's kinda a clutter I would definitely come back if I need to go to one. The parking lot trying to walk here was kind of hard to get to if you are riding on public transportation. They had a basic selection it's not a wide selection like some of the bigger stores that can fit more stuff but it has a lot here to make up for it ! I was in there this morning to get ballons for my daughter's graduation and they wer very limited. However i saw Dayna blowing some up so I figured they were for everyone. When i went to reach for one she had a nasty attitude and told me they were for "phone orders" only. She told me we had "this conversation" about the ballons but was not clear on it. There's a new dollar tree in Antioch :o. It opened up months ago, I think. It's real clean cuz it's brand new :]. It's not a big one, but it has a lot of stuff. There's even a fridge area w/ stuff in the back. It's in the same plaza as Rite Aid & Safeway, just more down where Le Reve (an old Vietnamese restaurant) used to be.. across what is now Dad's Cafe. This is probally one of the best dollar stores that I've visited. It has begun to be my favorite. The African American manager is customer friendly, and always greet you with a kind spirit. And that spirit has rubbed off onto her crew, which is also great. Sometimes it's just that simple word that make you feel special. For example, one day she opened a new line, and was next, she said u flirtatious, come on handsome, and the lady behind me, I got you beautiful. I've heard of stores getting rid of employees, because they felt like they were being to nice. I'm sure she handles business when she have too, as well as the crew. I hope this store doesn't change anytime soon! read more

When you walk inside it's like you're walking into the last Dollar Tree to exist on earth. Crap was all over the aisle ways, they were out of the majority of their stock, messy floors, spills, just no pride at all in the store. It was a really sad sight to see. I don't mind coming here. You can fulfill most of your dollar spending needs. I like that they keep Baby Ruth and Snickers. But what I don't like is the parking lot. Most of the time it's someone who doesn't know how to park. The staff are cool. I haven't had an issue with any. But they have closed the store before closing time. I was in Dollar Tree today and saw a poor girl get treated so bad by a customer. There was no reason for the woman to go off on the girl at the check stand the way she did. I sure hope the management will stand behind the employee. The customer is not always right . The girl has waited on me a few times and is very friendly and good at her job, the girl has blue hair. This is probably the cleanest Dollar Tree I've been to. Props for that. And yes. I occasionally shop at Dollar Tree for possibly the lowest priced gift wrap and gift bags you can possibly find. You can make quite the impressive presentation of curly bows and frills for under 5 buckaroos. I'm also riding the wave as far as coupon clipping is concerned, so I looked around to find a coupon organizer. And alas, there they were! Labeled and all. Just brought it with me today to Walmart and I saved myself 10 bucks off my purchases. The snacks are pretty interesting too. TGI Fridays mozzarella sticks and potato skins (in cheese puff and potato chip form, respectively) are pretty good. Just not too sure about those $1 pregnancy tests. Today 3/25/20 I left home to go to Dollar Tree for vitamins...I arrived around 8:30am...sign on door stated seniors 8am to 9:30am...I went in , saw a short line of people and a loud cashier with a red wig on talking loud about customers hoarding products. I slide in sideways to get the B12 on the rack at the checkout stand with my back to the customers, the man stepped to the side saying to me, here more room, I said it's okay just came for these...as I walked off she announces that people know there is 6ft distance, it's the law, that there is taping on the floor...ya ya ya...I continue walking ignoring her, throughout the story she continue ranting how z customer came with a Uhaul truck over purchasing, that she told the customer it was hogging, that she should leave merchandise for other customers...as I was in the back, a customer approached me saying, its ashame how she was just bad mouthing you as you were getting the vitamins...I told him, she's always loud, I ignore her...I continue shopping, getting toys for my grandson etc...get back to the front, no customers, she looked at me, walked away from her register, pretending to put things back... I stood looking at her, she looked and said I can help you over here maam..I started putting items on the table, she started putting on her face mask, then she used hand sanitizer, I said ooh is there sanitizer here, she no rudky, no just for employees with another rude comment, then she tells the acting manager she ready for a break, the female comes over, she small talks with her about how tired she is, IM STANDING STILL WAITING ON HER TO RING ME UP. .then she sprays disinfectant, U said wait, I have ASTHMA, I cant inhale that...she started ringing up my items saying, TOO BAD, I VALUE MY LIFE , YOU MAY NOT VALUE YOURS.. I'M GONNA SPRAY, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DONT COME IN HERE, YOU FREE TO LEAVE...I said you leave, your life that important you should had stayed home...so what are you going to do...(she had stopped ringing) she said I dont have to wait on you, the person acting as manager was still standing there, she the rmcadhiervtold her to ring me uo... now 15 minutes passed since she already had ask the femake for a break and they did their small talk...she cleared hercreguster, took items to another register for the acting manager acting manager to wait in me. .the red wig cashier says, yall coming in here knowing it's a world shut down, the hell with this shit...I said good dont wait in me, didn't want you to ring me up anyway...you starting chaos with customers bad mouthing others, you telling a select few you holding items in the back, behind your register fir them...that's bad business, walk off when customers are speaking with you, your cellphone vibrates and you stop ringing them up, taking your personal call, while we stand listening while you on that personal call. .peoplexwalk off the street when you ringing asking about a product, you hold the customer up while you have the item in your hand telling someone to go in the back to look for it. I went to another register and now 23 minutes the same omacting manager rang me up...I asked the manager her nane... I believe she said Shonda...(red wig cashier)...she always park in front if the store...I walked out with my purchases, she was sitting in driver seat, arms folded, window down, no mask on, smoking a cigarette....I was parked 2 cars over..she looked at me and turned her head...I called cooperate office, leaving 3 messages.. only got recording...I came home having to take asthma medication due to her spraying in front of me, with no warning...I had begun wheezing...the store selves always bare, 20 people in 1 line.. and she the only one there that has a bad attitude out of the other employees...as far as senior hours, only me and 2 others were seniors, the other 10 people were not...she make up her rules for a store she is not a manager with her I dont give a dam attitude...she need to be fired on all counts...hiding merchandise for later possible sale, bad mouthing, cursing customers ... read more

Management, who ever decided to get rid of the shopping cards was a stupid move on your part. Most likely I will not return to this store. I have a life back injury and I can't be carrying a basket. Plus you are limiting your customer(s) from buying more. Usually I buy $50-100 worth of stuff and the other day I only purchased $30 worth of stuff because I simply could not carry more. This store needs more help. Having one register open and not a employee insight. On Tuesday around 1pm there was 15 people in line and when I got in line there was three but we could not find the employee that should of been at the register. Finally he came walking up all casually with a smile on his face. (I forgot his name, a clean cut African American guy with a bald head). I'm not sure if he is mentally challenged or what but he was laughing at the register while he was checking me out and talking to himself. Then he raised his voice at me on how to use my Debit card. I like $1 stores in general for little things for my kids. My 3 yo daughter likes coming here to pick out cute window clings and fridge magnets for all of our favorite holidays. We also like to pick up art & paint projects, puzzles, and clips for her hair. Overall a good store with a nice manager however I have encountered an extremely rude, ghetto, hood rat employee with poor customer service skills on two separate occasions - never caught her name! I like shopping at this dollar tree. Great staff here and there's a lot of variety, awesome balloon selection, and I love the variety of seasonal items! I love that there's so many snacks, gift wrap, and greeting cards!! So much to choose from and only for $1!!!!! Only thing I wish is that the store had some carts for shopping. Every time I'm there I hear customers ask for them. Apparently people take them and other customers lose that convenience :( read more

I shop here all the time but what makes it less pleasurable are the employees and their horrible miserable attitudes. I totally understand that they're humans and have emotions but if you can't put on your "professional positive" attitude it's best to stay home. Ms. Yvonne had a very unwelcoming look upon her face and mugged me the whole time I was within eyesight and didn't even greet me when she began to ring me up just told me my total no thank you or anything. Customer service basics: always smile, greet your guest and thank them for their business. It may not seem like it but getting guest to RETURN is the goal to keep your location in business which equals to employees like Ms. Yvonne keeping their positions. Also if an employee has the time to look up from their work (which EVERY one in the building did when I and other customers entered) to see who's coming and going they have time to greet and thank customers for shopping. read more
