I had called in advance specifically to ask about the item I wanted to donate. A very nice woman assisted me and even checked with her supervisor to be sure they would accept my item. So I load up the car take it there and get harshly rejected by the two jerks working the donation input. Obviously I don't know that they are really jerks, but I can say I was very unhappy with the way they treated me. For starters, had I not schlepped my stuff out of the car and leaned it against the wall of the building, I don't know if they would've gotten off their asses hasn't even helped me. The woman in front of me who had just finished unloading, was assisted a lot. But not me. And then when they got a look at the items, they said no we can't take these. It's gonna be a hard sell so I said well that's specifically why I called in advance to make sure you would accept them and the woman I spoke with said she checked with the supervisor who said these would be fine. They said well maybe they were confused about what you were asking. I said I assure you they were not confused but fine. I'll take my stuff and go elsewhere. Despite my struggling to get the items back in the car, of course they didn't lift a finger to try to help me get them back in anymore than they wanted me to help me get them out of the car. So I took my items to Goodwill where I was assisted cheerfully and five minutes later I was on my way. Please don't patronize this business .

This review will solely be based on the service I was just rendered inside the convenience store at…read morethis particular Circle K location. It was 5:48am on a Friday. I went in the store to buy some snacks and a drink. As I went to go pay, there were 4 employees just standing around. It became my turn to check out and the employees were routing me to the self-checkout spot. I do not mind self-checking myself out, but the problem with Circle K's self-checkout system (this is just one problem of several) is that when I'm done paying for my items, the app I use to receive cash back (GetUpside) never recognizes my purchase and gives me the cash back. This only happens with the self-checkout system, not the in-person-cashier checkout. So when the employees routed me to their self-checkout, I let them very politely know that I'd rather not use their self-checkout system due to this issue. Well, one of the women got triggered by what I said and started telling me I was wrong and that other customers don't have an issue with it. I said I've used it many times before and every time the GetUpside app never recognized my purchase. So I asked if I could please have someone check me out. This woman employee startled grunting as she walked to the register, mumbling under her breath. I must have really upset her that she had to do a little tiny bit of work while there were literally 4 employees just standing around just chit chatting to each other. She makes her way to the register and said that normally she only opens a register open when there are more people in the store. Um lady, I don't care what you "normally" want to do when you're at work. As a customer, I "normally" don't want a store employee getting upset at me for something I asked, which was in a very polite matter. She checked me out after throwing a tiny little fit and trying to tell me what I said was wrong. I did say to her "are you sure you can check me out? I don't want to inconvenience you, that's not what I'm trying to do." After thinking about it more, she got over herself and said "no it's fine". It literally took her 30 seconds to check me out and after that was done, she went back to chit chatting with her employee friends. I guess working was just too much "work" for this group of employees. I get it. You didn't want to check anyone out, but you are there to work, not just stand around. I get if checking someone out would be annoying if it was a process to log in as a cashier, but it took 30 seconds. You put in less time to work and check me out than you did complaining about checking me out and arguing with me. I'm giving this location 2 stars due to this bad customer service.

Our plan is to balance some restaurant meals with some cooking in the unit and taking along some healthy picnic lunches and snacks on local hikes. We were impressed with the freshness in the produce area, and Walmart had some very good prices on fresh fruit and vegetables -- for instance, avocados at $0.56 each; a big clamshell of organic salad at $4.98; and 3 pounds of apples for $2.67. We also picked up some fast meals so that won't be spending a lot of time cooking while on vacation -- fresh chicken pot pie for $9.44 (4 servings) and a huge, refrigerated 16" supreme pizza for $10.97 that will be at least two meals for both of us. There were A LOT of price rollbacks on products that we looked at. One disappointment was the red plums. The sign said $1.32, which I interpreted as per pound but it turned out to be per piece of small fruit. They must be out-of-season. Another small issue was the signage. For instance, we were looking for mixed nuts and it was hard to ascertain what aisle they were in. A sales associate authoritatively sent us to a wrong aisle! Most of the check-out aisles were self-serve. We had one issue where a product went through at a higher price than expected but an associate came to correct it almost immediately. Parking was free and plentiful. We would visit this Walmart Supercenter again.

I've visited many times and there are always fun things to look at, from the staff recommendations, to locally made jewelry, candles, and bookmarks, to the seasonal offerings from the cafe. They also host a variety of events. The space is clean and modern with lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The space is on the smaller side though, but they still have a solidly curated selection of books to browse. I know I will be back again and again! Thank you for bringing such an engaging and well-run book shop to our community--we need more of this in our tech-addicted world.

When we finally decided to buy a work by this artist, the subject matter dictated that we frame it using a specific type of wood. Numerous framing shops told us this type of wood was not available. Diane told us the same thing, but she had a local woodworker source that had some of this wood in his private stock. Diane and her source designed the profile of the frame and her woodworker manufactured and assembled a custom frame that is the perfect match for our artwork. Going the extra mile to satisfy her customer is what makes Diane unique. She picked up the artwork at our home and delivered the finished product.
