The line typically doesn't take terribly long, and the folks working are generally nice and competent. Prices are decent.

Marshall's and TJ Maxx are sister stores and there's certainly some sibling rivalry going on here…read more Marshall's is the over achiever, they have a more extensive shoe department and men's department, in addition to the name brand women's clothing, accessories, and handbags. They did carry these trendy crocheted foot stools that I fell in love with! The children's department is wanting. TJ Maxx is the cheerleader, more bling, peppier, bigger jewelry selection and more updated furniture and housewares, and a cooler gourmet aisle! Both sell retail brand names, but Marshall's merchandising isn't as appealing as their sister's. The prices are similar, so I like to wait for items to move to the clearance rack for a deal. I'm obsessed with Lucky Brand tops and sweaters and I usually find one or two here!

So far, the store has been orderly and neat. It's easy to find professional attire. I wouldn't say Kohl's is my favorite department store in general, but this location is run well and I'm sure I'll be back. And probably with my mother in tow.

We found many pieces and headed to the dressing room. At 8:20pm, we exited the dressing rooms to find we had been locked in by a rack of clothes in the hall. We were told the dressing rooms close 30 minutes prior to closing so that the staff can walk out right at 9pm, when they close. That's all fine but the attitude we were met with was unacceptable. A red-head women told us to put all the items back ourselves because they were not going to be hanging them up since they needed to leave right at 9pm. Will not be returning to this location. 2 stars because the store was clean & the woman at the checkout was lovely.
