Because the staff…read moreis usually indifferent, the prices too high for my budget or, worst of all, everything offered will not fit a REAL woman with normal body weight. However, we popped in for a look see. Boy! Were we surprised! Personally, if I was treated as badly as another reviewer claimed she has been treated, by ANY employee. for ANY reason, I will NOT keep coming back. Period! The cashier greeted us, was enthusiastic about the merchandise being offered, helped me find EXACTLY what I was looking for, and best of all? The prices! For the quality, very reasonable! Totally blown away! The clothing section, while small, was stuff one can wear "back home" . The accessory selection was just as nice. I'm a "jeans and t-shirt" kind of gal, not a "boutiques" type at all. I went in, out of curiosity, expecting to be greeted by an over-made-up, very bored associate, and way overpriced items. This tiny shop is my latest "must visit" little gem! Yes, I found what I was looking for, and it looks PERFEcT with my jeans and t-shirts!

I really liked the selection at Amity Boutique, especially the dainty jewelry. Unfortunately, the…read morestaff's attitude was so unpleasant that I left without buying anything. I wanted to see a necklace that was in a case, so I waited patiently until one of the two employees was available. When I asked if I could see it, the employee dramatically sighed and asked which one. I pointed it out, and she grabbed it, put it on the counter, and immediately started walking away. I had to get her attention again to ask what material it was. She responded, "Well, what does the tag say?" I looked at the other side of the tag, which had "gp" scribbled on it. She then said, with an annoyed tone, "Okay, so it's gold plated," as though I had asked some ridiculous question. Then she walked away again. The entire interaction was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was trying to purchase an item from the store. Instead, I was made to feel like I was bothering her simply by asking a question about something I was considering buying. I was so put off by the interaction that I didn't even want the necklace anymore. Why go out of your way to make a paying customer feel unwelcome for no apparent reason? I won't give my money to a business where the staff can't be bothered to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. If you look at their Google reviews, the staff's attitude is a known issue. They apologize in response to reviews but make no adjustments. It's a shame for a store with such a nice selection and location to have the employees ruin the experience.

Although not the biggest store I personally think they had a decent selection of clothing. Even had jewelry, drink ware, knick knacks, toys, and a few more random things. Side note! So fun fact... I'm grossed out by stickers. I went to parrots bay and framers daughter earlier in the week (which btw are the same place, like they sell thee EXACT same thing and I mean everything is the same) but I digress; they put a white sizing sticker on EVERYTHING!!! hated it and didn't buy anything because it grossed me out.
