I really liked the selection at Amity Boutique, especially the dainty jewelry. Unfortunately, the…read morestaff's attitude was so unpleasant that I left without buying anything. I wanted to see a necklace that was in a case, so I waited patiently until one of the two employees was available. When I asked if I could see it, the employee dramatically sighed and asked which one. I pointed it out, and she grabbed it, put it on the counter, and immediately started walking away. I had to get her attention again to ask what material it was. She responded, "Well, what does the tag say?" I looked at the other side of the tag, which had "gp" scribbled on it. She then said, with an annoyed tone, "Okay, so it's gold plated," as though I had asked some ridiculous question. Then she walked away again. The entire interaction was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was trying to purchase an item from the store. Instead, I was made to feel like I was bothering her simply by asking a question about something I was considering buying. I was so put off by the interaction that I didn't even want the necklace anymore. Why go out of your way to make a paying customer feel unwelcome for no apparent reason? I won't give my money to a business where the staff can't be bothered to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. If you look at their Google reviews, the staff's attitude is a known issue. They apologize in response to reviews but make no adjustments. It's a shame for a store with such a nice selection and location to have the employees ruin the experience.

However, we popped in for a look see. Boy! Were we surprised! Personally, if I was treated as badly as another reviewer claimed she has been treated, by ANY employee. for ANY reason, I will NOT keep coming back. Period! The cashier greeted us, was enthusiastic about the merchandise being offered, helped me find EXACTLY what I was looking for, and best of all? The prices! For the quality, very reasonable! Totally blown away! The clothing section, while small, was stuff one can wear "back home" . The accessory selection was just as nice. I'm a "jeans and t-shirt" kind of gal, not a "boutiques" type at all. I went in, out of curiosity, expecting to be greeted by an over-made-up, very bored associate, and way overpriced items. The owner of this store is named Billie, but Jean us not her lover....okay, ever since Billie sang a small portion of that song, it got stuck in my head. I don't know how many times I have been in this store, but come this September, this store will be closing its doors forever. The Coronavirus outbreak really put things in perspective for Billie and will close some time in September. So "Try to remember the kind of September When life was slow and oh, so mellow. Try to remember the kind of September When grass was green and grain so yellow." If you do remember this place after September, it will be in memories...yes all your troubles will be do far away. No shadows hanging over you... Okay, my mind is going in all different directions. Billie has a good store here and a fun crewmembers. It is a shame the store will be closing its doors this year, but Billie does sell cool clothing and other accessories. I enjoyed our talk with Billie. Should we stop by again this week, I am sure we will find something else worthwhile. Ws enjoyed shopping kn your store Billie.

Although not the biggest store I personally think they had a decent selection of clothing. Even had jewelry, drink ware, knick knacks, toys, and a few more random things. Side note! So fun fact... I'm grossed out by stickers. I went to parrots bay and framers daughter earlier in the week (which btw are the same place, like they sell thee EXACT same thing and I mean everything is the same) but I digress; they put a white sizing sticker on EVERYTHING!!! hated it and didn't buy anything because it grossed me out. While Grays did have size stickers on some of their shirts I'd say probably about 50% or more didn't have a sticker. Therefore, I absolutely loved this store! And ended up spending way too much money in there Lastly, I believe it's locally owned! 10 out of 10 loved this store.

The sweats for me (lovely willow color with a zippered crop top) look great on me, they're soft and wash well. I've worn the black cropped knit sweater many times, it really dresses me up. The hubster got three sweat shirts, and they all fit REALLY well. Not too snug, not too baggy. They look good, feel good, and wash well. We've planned a little day trip to the coast to add more of these quality clothes to our wardrobe.

This sweet lady squatted down, gave our little Sheltie girl a treat, and received a kiss on the nose! Our little Sheltie girl knows the good people! We felt completely comfortable in this store and will be back. It's sorta weird. Some places in this beautiful shopping center on the water with an extensive boardwalk that connects many shops, are completely dog friendly, and there are other stores that won't let your fur baby past the front door. I'm pretty sure we would have spent significant $$ if we could have come in, but it's your loss! I'll give my money to the shops who don't exclude everyone with a dog.
