I was impressed with their large selection of outdoor furniture. They carry several brands of weather-tolerant and salt air friendly furniture in addition to Polywood. With their expansive showroom I was able to see the most popular pieces in person, get a color sample and even a brochure. The staff was helpful with my questions and very welcoming. Before I even made it to the outdoor section I was wowed with the large indoor furniture selection. The store had many lovely vignettes complete with fun linens and lovely artwork. Most of the furniture has a beachy or nautical theme. The store was definitely comfortable and inspiring. Daniels' Homeport is also know for their rental cottage furnishing services. They can put complete packages together for rental homes and they even sell stuff to fully stock a kitchen.

He asked about warranties, cases, ect. After deciding on a case he informed us of a promotion so we got a couple of more accessories. He was not high pressure...he just wanted to be sure we had what we needed. His service skills are impeccable and he knows his stuff. I learned a lot from him and when we walked out the door the new phone was just like the one we brought in. I like the fun collection of flags and banners on the exterior. On the inside, I appreciate how well everything is organized and displayed. They have USA flags, state flags, college flags, sports flags, etc. They also have lots of yard flags, banners, flag accessories and such. They also have samples of custom flags so it is nice to know that customization is possible. Regarding the garden/yard flags, they had some really nice quality ones for what I thought was a very reasonable price. I personally liked the mermaid flag and Cape Hatteras lighthouse flag. Since Islander Flags is located right next to the bridge, I wish I had known about it earlier in the week when I was driving past it on check in day. I worked retail for a long time and was always taught to greet customers but that seems to be a thing of the past. There wasn't any acknowledgement of our presence as we looked around for about 15 minutes and that seems to be a common experience in the retail world these days.

A friend of mine was raving about this place and I had to take him to this place because they are not able to drive themselves to it. His wife's sister needed help with trying to fix an Atari system. We tried to buy an extension part from them and they didn't have it in stock. Too many logistics to try to get it later as I would not be around. It certainly didn't hurt that the worker at the time recognized my one friend's sister from a decade or so ago. The problem was probably that the specific TV model would not properly take any additional connections even though it had certain ports. There was so much back and forth and trying to order this and that that it was quite tiring for me. Galactic made that process a bit easier. They tested the woman's Atari. Ok my last day, my one friend had me make a request to return a device with no receipt. They refunded me even though I misunderstood from my friend what the device was and why they ended up with it to begin with. As a tourist to the area, I did not know about the separate space for the game room (there is another store between their store and their game room). But it makes sense because they have a tournament or some event occurring daily. There is also a back entrance/exit from the plaza for cars that is not obvious. As a separate online observation, Whether the comic book prices are above ebay prices not, if you don't want it, don't buy it and don't complain about that. These kind of games and comics stores and ones with super nice people are harder to come by. The convenience is worth it if things are priced more. You can see an item beforehand in a store but not online and maybe the online item's quality is not as good. I don't feel that this invisible cost and the potential additional costs to maintain the store were properly factored in by that others potentially and those things are important too.
