I called the nags head location to ask if they would take them back. The manager, Jake, explained that he would have to see them. That is just fine, so I brought them to him with all the tags and the receipt then when we grab another pair to exchange them with, the Grommet on the new pair was cracked. Jake handled it like a pro and gave us the benefit of the doubt and let us return the shorts so, I ended up spending $200 more, because he was so gracious to us. Jake was a professional and I appreciate it. He does a good job. He should be commended.

This was a first for this sole purpose. Mainly boots, but also packs. They compete with REI no doubt. But they have an edge in my opinion on service. My service with Chase was phenomenal from entering the store to showing me every aspect of technical gear I would need on a two week European hike, or even local in the Appalachian. I walked out knowing much more and still researching. They did not have the specific hard to locate Lowa boots I wanted to try on. They are rarely retail, closest is NC. No purchases yet, but soon.

I have a walking disability and was able to go up in the parasail, but more importantly, land safely back in the boat. We also opted for the picture package and were excited to see all the shots when we got home. Super fun! This was my first time jet skiing so I was nervous at first as the jet ski throttle was very sensitive and I ended up jerking my passengers around until I got the hang of it. After a few minutes I got it and we had smooth skiing. There's a large area to drive around in and we were able to get some nice speed.

They called three hours before my reservation to tell me they were cancelling my reservation because they sent out a longer reservation today and the boat wouldn't be back in time. Obviously they were making more money off the longer rental, so mine for tossed out. They did offer a late evening time slot but when I advised I had a three year old and that time was past her bedtime, they said the best they could do was a refund. Try explaining that to an excited three year old that was expecting her first time out on a boat.

Was looking for some sew-on Lieutenant patches, something they previously had in stock but now they don't. Can order them online but I needed them right away. So I left without. The store is small, a decent stock but nothing really spectacular. The prices are decent and the customer service is great. With that being said I would suggest shopping elsewhere if you are not in the area. I drove a great distance for some patches but they didn't have them. Happy Yelping.

You tryna cruise down a mountain pass wearing a 3-percenter hat playing Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" on a ukulele and somehow drinking Ocean Spray for TikTok likes? YUP! Right here; come getcho contradictions. And after a long day of sidewalk surfing, find yourself right back here at the BAR taking in the scenic views of kayaks strung from the rafters (there's a pun there I just know it) and dreamy tents on high. The staff was very helpful telling me the prices and what was on sale. Then I turn and on side of store was a small sip and shop.. cheapest beers in new bern from what I got told..lol.. all kinds of beers to choose from. I will definitely have to bring a friend and come back for that. The very nice lady I spoke to that works there said it keeps the customers around for a bit longer lol.. pretty smart plan if you ask me!
