They had a great assortment from Good American and Madewell, with a good range of sizes and styles to choose from. Lots of the same styles, so not a ton of variety there. One thing that really stood out was the shoe section, especially if you're a size 10. There was a very large selection, which isn't always easy to find. Overall, a solid stop if you're looking for quality denim and shoes, but also know that it's Nordstrom Rack so options will always vary.

I had previously asked if I could leave my basket near the register while I drove home to retrieve it, and an associate kindly said I could leave it there for about 20 minutes -- the time it would take for me to return home and back. As I walked back to my car, I checked for any cash and found only $10. When I returned to the store, I let the associate know that I would put back some of the frozen and cold items and would leave and come back later to complete my purchase. I recently moved to New Orleans and usually keep a credit card in my car specifically for Walmart trips, but not this time. That's when Floor Manager, Erin, stepped in... she overheard the conversation and said, "wait...we can figure this out so you don't have to leave and come back." I was both surprised and incredibly grateful. Erin asked if I knew my card number, and when I said yes, she guided me through downloading the Walmart app step-by-step -- all while multitasking and assisting other associates with their questions and assigning employees to registers for employee breaks. We encountered an error with the app, but instead of giving up, Erin continued troubleshooting with me. She asked smart, specific questions, and eventually identified the problem: my credit card still had my old address. Once we updated it to reflect my new New Orleans address, everything worked perfectly. Erin even took me to a separate register to test the card with a small transaction -- and it was successful! I returned to a regular register to complete my full grocery purchase, but I won't forget Erin's kindness and professionalism. Please know that you have a permanent customer in me, and I'll always be looking for Erin to say a quick "hi" during my visits. As a retired executive, I can confidently say that Erin's dedication, patience, and problem-solving attitude were nothing short of outstanding. Her willingness to go above and beyond left a lasting impression on me. Bottom line: Erin is a fantastic employee, and you are lucky to have her on your team.

This store didn't have any regular ground coffee only tons of K-pods. First time trying Entenmann's coffee, in fact, I didn't know they made coffee, (although it makes sense because they started out making pastries) but these flavors are amazingly good!! I love the maple pecan so far. They also have cinnamon apple, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon crumb cake - 20 pods each. Very bold and rich despite the setting on my Cafe Specialty Drip Maker, I always select the gold and not bold. You will indeed get a caffeine rush with a nice aroma with each sip. I will say, they do have some unusual food items like pistachio milk and salt and vinegar pickled eggs!! I remember pickled eggs back in the day but the brine was reddish in color. Not sure what's in here but I'll pass. I haven't tried the pistachio milk yet but I bought it for my coffee....hoping it's good for only $0.99.

There really is a great selection of stores to choose from in the shopping mall. Situated right on the Mississippi river, at the end of Canal Street, this shopping mall is really easy to find. Once inside, the main thing you're gonna enjoy is being removed from the climate. Whether it's scorching hot outside, a day of full on humidity, or lost in rainy weather, you're gonna be out of the elements if you come shopping at this mall. That, in of itself, is a great feature of this New Orleans shopping establishment. You can pretty much find anything you need here. Recently, I was shopping for a mattress and thanks to a fantastic 4th of July sale, I was able to get a $1,400 for less than $800! I went to other mattress stores, and their "deals" weren't really deals. The woman working in the bedding department was extremely helpful and knew her stuff. I found my mattress and it was delivered a week later without any issues. They give you 30 days to try the mattress, and if you decided that it's not for you, you can trade it for something else. You really can't go wrong with a deal like that.
