My plate was LOADED. What I appreciated most was how friendly the staff was while serving the food. They were so kind and didn't have an attitude while fixing plates (and if you know deli counters... you know). They made my first experience a great one. Overall, I really enjoyed the food. The baked chicken was good. The sweet potato casserole? I honestly could have eaten an entire pan of that by myself. The chicken rice was good too, my serving had a lot of pepper, but I still enjoyed it. My dad and sister got food as well, and they both enjoyed theirs. Would I come back here? Yep! So, of course, crossing the parking lot the cake slipped off the cart and splatted upside down inside the box. Rather than risking returning home and explaining that the cake was still edible but didn't survive the trip intact and not to worry because the beer made it safe and sound, I went back to the bakery hat-in-hand to see if they could salvage it. Despite the fact that they were clearly very busy trying to bust out several orders for the rest of the day, Will gladly took the mangled pastry into the operating room. She was able to re-ice the cake in no time and saved the day! Really grateful for their quick, efficient, and above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty service. Helped save me from ruining a first bday!!

It is also a great stop for those from out of town heading to Folly Beach. The buy one get one free specials and Club Publix electronic coupons can save you a lot of money. If you're not already in Club Publix rewards, you can enroll with your phone number. However, you do not need to be a member or "have a card" to get the sale prices here. Publix shares its parking lot with quite a few businesses, so at times you may need to park further away and walk.
