No other registers open. Also gift cards for Roblox didn't have the custom size - only a few of the $25 left and most were $100 or $200... I mean, wow... that's an expensive gift. It must be because I'm used to the targets in a big city. But this target gave absolutely nothing and they had absolutely nothing. I've never seen anything like this from a target before. The toiletry aisle, although the baskets were mostly full, the selection was very small. I couldn't tell if whether they were done putting out Christmas pajamas or if people just bought them all. On Monday, August 22, 2022 at approximately 1405 hours I, Dante G., responded to Target located at 7250 Rivers Avenue, which is in the jurisdiction of the city of North Charleston, the county of Charleston, and the state of South Carolina in reference to an attempt to locate. Upon my arrival, I observed a motor vehicle that had obviously been sitting, illegally part, for quite some time (over a month). I parked my car and moved towards the front of the building and the entrance, which is centrally located on the A-side of the business. As I approached, I noticed the same couple of homeless hanging in front of the businesses located to the left of Target (when facing the building). It wasn't the same two that I often see panhandling at the exit, but I have seen them inside the business stealing (previous visit). When I mentioned it to the loss prevention, I was advised it wasn't "his money". I moved inside and headed towards the grocery side, via electronics. The place still looked like a refugee camp with carts of merchandise staged in various places or merchandise littering the floor in front of the shelves (see attached photographs). I made may way to grocery and was met with negative results for the products I sought. I made my way back to the front of the store and departed. Overall, Target as a whole is normally above average. This store, in particular, however, always seems to look like everyone quit at one time. Shelves are disorganized, trash litters the areas. And I understand that with recent supply line issues, Target is receiving too much stock and that is causing an issue, as is the reduced work force. The other store in this region don't seem to be facing those same issues, however. I wouldn't recommend a visit here, unless you live nearby and this is the only place to buy the particular product that you seek (like my reason for visiting). There are other Targets, within a fifteen minute drive, that are much friendlier and kept better. End of Report. read more

The Rivers Ave location is my go-to Target to shop. It's not as overcrowded as the Summerville location. I can always find what I'm looking for and they stay well stocked. The store is always clean and employees are helpful. The dollar section has great seasonal items that catch your eye upon entering. You can also see their monthly theme or upcoming events upon entry as well. They have great prices and the Target app allows you to see what's on sale, available coupons, and makes it easy to price match. They have a way of drawing you in with their displays in every department. You go in for two items and leave with a buggy full. Now that's some good marketing. read more

For me Target offers an elevated retail shopping experience. I really enjoy starting my shopping event poking through the Dollar Spot for great deals on whatever holiday or main event is on the horizon. As much as I enjoy my shopping encounter, part of the joy walking in the door is smelling the popcorn from their cafe. Some of the stores have taken the cafe out to make room for Starbucks, and I really hope it doesn't happen here. They offer slushies, hot dogs, soft pretzels, pizza and movie theater quality popcorn. I stop in the cafe if it's open on every visit. Recently they have had some staffing problems in the middle of the day. They should realize how many shoppers enjoy having that quick stop for a snack available and do better at being open during the posted hours. Aside from the small bag of popcorn, they offer a take home family size giant bag of freshly popped popcorn for about $2.50. Its so delicious and such a great value. You might have to wait for it to pop, but it is well worth the wait. I always use my Target Red Card, which is linked to my debit card which gives me an extra 5% of every purchase. It's so easy to use and comes directly out of my bank account like any other purchase. I love Targets's style and especially enjoy their home decor. I love that they added a grocery section so often times I can avoid an extra stop. It's a real bonus to seek out the latest bobbles from the Hearth and Home line designed by Chip and Joanna Gaines. There is evidence to support the lack of a night crew, because there are ALWAYS boxes of inventory everywhere. The clothing areas (men's, kids, ladies, shoes, etc...) are always in absolute disarray. The online inventory identifying products as "in stock" or otherwise is wholly inaccurate, because I was staring at where a product should be, but was not. It was most likely in one of the boxes sitting all over the store. Customer service employees are always friendly. I feel as though every other aspect of this location is being poorly managed, and overall inadequately staffed. read more

This Target has been my go-to Target since it opened. I've loved Target over KMart and Walmart since I was a kid. I even used to work at one when I was in high school. So I know the layout of this store, can move around it quickly, (made the complete lap today in under 20 mins) and the big aisle are a huge help to make this possible. In the past few years they added a small grocery section which I've still never used. Since it's not really their niche I stick to getting my milk and eggs at the Publix! But the Target is perfect for so many other things that I'm a happy shopper every time I go. read more

Definitely my go to Target. While there is one in Summerville, Mt P and West Ashley- I'll always go to this one. The staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful. Every during the chaos that is the holiday season- I've never felt like I was bothering someone or an inconvenience to them. The store is clean, with the bathrooms needing a little extra TLC on some days. They always have everything stocked and will always check in the back or online at other stores for you to help find what you're looking for if they don't have it. Not only did I find businesses open here and there, I found most of them to have rock star attitudes about it. Target was actually boarded up but had the doors open and ready for business. The place was packed with people just looking for something to do and get out of the house. Target is my happy place! I could spend hours in Target without getting bored. This location hasn't been updated as much as the Summerville and Mount Pleasant stores but it's still nice. They offer a great selection of items. The store is always clean and organized. It's well lit, especially the cosmetic section. I can't walk by it without browsing down each aisle. If I could do a .5 star review I would. I've been to Target stores from as far as the PNW, to San Antonio , all the way to this ... place. This is NO Target. It's dirty, and unkept. NOTHING is stocked , there's items in the pharmacy , personal care , and food department opened , used and left . It's DISGUSTING, and the employees literally sit in aisles pushing carts of crap around like they're "busy" when all they are actually doing is talking in their cell phones . The store stinks , and gives off a "contaminated" feeling . I won't even bother going into the disgusting state of the restrooms , I just BARELY got the urge to violently vomit feeling under control. I love this Target because everything is super organized. Beware, you can get sucked into this place. No one goes into Target because they need something. You go to Target and let Target tell you what you need. Some items are kinda pricey but you get what you pay for. It's nicer than Wally World. The isles are clean and they have really nice things for the home. I always go to Target to get gifts because they have great stuff. I love that they have Starbucks in the store as well. How awesome is that?! They removed the other restaurant part of the store, however. No more coming in to the sweet smell of popcorn. I've never really seen anyone over there though so maybe it was a good business choice to remove it. It is now a customer service area. That is super helpful especially because it makes it easier to pick up items you bought online. I love Target in general and always go in there. Maybe I'm just still mad about the situation but the workers here are not great at customer service. My husband and I were walking around and he was pushing a cart with me walking in front of him. We aren't slow walkers so we were moving briskly. A worker was walking behind him, and accidentally stepped on his shoe because she clearly needed to get to the next aisle over now. This resulted in the cart catapulting into my heel leaving a nasty bruise. The impact of my heel also resulted in my coffee going flying because I got knocked over. What a sight to see. The worker kept walking past. My husband asked another worker for help with the spill and she handed him a roll of paper towels. Multiple workers walked by us while we cleaned up the spill, not offering to help with a mop or anything. Screw this target. read more

Nice clean Target store in a store/restaurant-heavy area of North Charleston. Their air conditioning seems to be working fine; a little chilly inside. They have a Starbucks by the entrance. Like typical Targets they have a variety of products from clothes, to toys, to food, to household and kitchen items, to some outdoor and pet supplies. I haven't been in a Target in a while, and now I remember why: not much of interest to me there (aside from groceries perhaps), and what I did look at was often more expensive than elsewhere. Holiday shout out to the employees at this Target Location. I don't often shop here but my new job makes this location the most convenient for me. I placed an order for drive up but decided to do in-store pick up instead as I also had a return. The return process was speedy! (This was extra impressive as the Self-Checkout line seemingly stretched to the other side of the store despite multiple checkouts being open!) I don't remember her name but my customer service rep was very nice and helpful. When it came time to pick up my order, it was declared lost. Eventually the supervisor, who was actively directing traffic and managing holiday help, let me know that the order was missing but my customer service rep was looking for it. And she directed another team member to help look so I could get out of there faster. The holidays are CRAZY busy and so many retail locations tend to get demoralized by angry impatient customers and the natural chaos of the season. However, I deeply appreciated this manager actively doing her job and that the customer service rep was able to put my order together by pulling my items from the shelf herself. Mistakes happen! That's part of life but I can't say enough how impressed I was with the team at customer service keeping their cool, and staying kind during what could have been a frustrating situation. read more

I love Target, and this one stacks up. I was here for a few things, and I was having difficulty finding any of them on the shelf because they were moving the store around. The employees, though, were super helpful and just kept going back and getting those items for me. I give this Target five stars for customer service because it is fantastic every time I come in. I typically shop at the Summerville location and find this one to have less of a selection than the Summerville one. I'm hoping that the upgrade to the grocery section will give Target more incentive to stock this one as well as the Summerville store. read more

My wife and I stopped here for some items. Overall the store was stocked fairly well even though some shelves were empty. The store was clean and they also had someone wiping the carts down and sanitizing them (corona virus precautions). There was a female employee who was telling people which registers to go to but she was playing on her phone and not focused on her job. While she was doing this I noticed a few people were cutting the line and going to any open register instead of allowing the next person to go. They had two actual registers, all self checkout and the return counter open for checking out. The cashier that we had was very polite and friendly. He was interacting with all customers that came through his lane and appeared to genuinely care about the shopping experience of all of the customers. I wish I would have paid attention to his name because he deserves some form of recognition from Target. Literally disgusted right now. This is a lot more like a Walmart than a Target. Chaotic, ridiculously unkept, and disjointed. Staff is helpful and willing to help you find a product. That is a Starbucks located inside this location. They did remove the little food cafe which is disappointing because when you walked in you smelled popcorn and we always stopped for a popcorn and a slushee inside target. It's now the customer service area. Parking can be tight in this shopping center but they just added drive up parking where you place your order online and park in a designated parking g spot and check in the app when your there and they'll bring out your order. Yes it's clean but unless you have kids I don't know why you'd bother to go in. The women's department is a joke and the prices so high you're not finding a deal. The men's department is so small you blink and you miss it. The entire center section of the large store is kids, babies and more kids clothes and then toys. Just wow. Groceries hidden in the dark towards the side back, why go in there that far back in the store and pay much more than would anywhere else. Yesterday while we were shopping at target in North Charleston my son needed to use the restroom. Not only was the restroom absolutely disgusting, when we went into the handicap stall there was a hypodermic needle floating in the toilet. I told customer service immediately after finding and the lady looked at me blank stare not a care in the world. The Target in North Charleston is one of my favorite places to shop for basic needs and supplies. This Target location is very reliable and consistent in offering just about anything you need for your home and living. This Target always seems to be well stocked and I have always found all of the items on my list. The store always seems to be clean and well run and that is not always the case in other big box stores in the area. The staff here is also very helpful in making sure that you can find exactly what you need and they have gone out of their way for me on more than one occasion. I have always had a wonderful shopping experience every time I have been here and have been pleasantly surprised on a regular basis. read more

First, it's Target. It is THE place to go for most females I know. That being said, this Target does have a more limited selection than other stores in the area (the West Ashley Target by the mall always has more options for clothing). It's on my way home, it has a Starbucks inside, the store is clean and their sale endcaps are legit. My biggest complaint with this store is actually their online ordering for store pickup. I use it quite a bit since I can order things at work and then just grab them on my way home but the staff here are REALLY bad at getting the order done on time (it's advertised as taking 2 - 4 hours or something like that) and contacting you to let you know the order is ready for pickup. Other than that, I love it here (and visit here AT LEAST once a week). Plus, once you know their markdown schedule, you can almost always find a good deal. Tip: USE THE CARTWHEEL APP. I have saved $90 bucks since installing it and using it only on things I was already planning to buy! With a little planning, you can get things up to 50% off (especially useful at Christmas)! read more

Overall, this is a pretty good Target. (I usually shop at the Summerville store.) I can usually find what I need at this location pretty quickly and be on my way again. I particularly like this store's Christmas clearance. I have picked up some great items over the years on clearance for not too much money. The only complaint I have with this location is how difficult it is to leave the car park. There is only one other exit besides the traffic light and it is "dinky." It would be nice to see them add an exit towards the Walmart lot (incl. other stores) so that I didn't have to go back out on the main road to check out the other stores. read more

This is my go-to neighborhood Target. Really like the folks here- the staff is usually very friendly - cashiers and pharmacists (same with the Starbucks staff). This store has a larger dollar section and also a larger selection of merchandise in general. The store is almost always clean and free of clutter. I love Target and will continue to frequent this location. My ONLY complaint is that the store still uses metal carts instead of the lighter (and less squeaky) plastic carts used at most other locations. read more
