We received a number of "gifts" with our purchase and ultimately even bought some awesome new pillows to go with our new bedding. Might as well go all the way, right? Today our new goodies arrived and, man, were those guys good. They were professional and quick. Ten minutes, out with old, in with the new, old packed up for takeaway and plastic coverings gone. WOW. Under new owners Gina and Davis I have purchased 4 other mattresses and I have always been extremely pleased with the quality ,value and especially the customer service. Just recently, due to my physical handicap, I needed a more accommodating bed frame and mattress to meet my current needs and returned to CBM because of my previous positive purchases.To say that they were helpful is an understatement. After we settled on mattresses and adjustable frames we received a call from Gina a few days later saying that a sales representative had just come to their store and showed them a frame that would further assist me with my physical needs.This frame added a high low option as well as a trendelenburg option to the adjustable frame we just purchased. I had been researching " hospital " beds and for a twin king with the above options and it was over 13, 000 dollars . Gina said she didn't want to sell me anything until they ordered it , set it up in the store. And checked it all out.Well, it was the perfect choice as well as saving me a ton of money. Davis delivered it to the house and since it was a first time experience it took about 2 hrs to assemble and show us how all worked. He even contacted me a few days later to see how we were doing with the bed.SO... check this store out BEFORE you go online or visit another store! There's nothing I hate more than false advertising and bait and switch tactics. NOT a good way to do business with me. Karen guided us with Power Point slides of all our choices for our review. Her assistant Emily is equally wonderful and competent. When we finally got to Mt Pleasant to sign papers and make final fabric/rug choices, Karen and Emily were so well organized that we finished in record time with no drama. That was, until a Black Friday ad showed up on our TV and my hub called out, "Hon, come look at this chair." "Yeah, it could work," I casually replied. I had a plan. First thing, Small Business Saturday, I stopped into J&K Furnishings in the Belle Hall Shopping Center (Long Point Road) as soon as it opened. I was approached immediately by Karen who took me over to the advertised chair. She was knowledgeable and patient, even knowing that there would be no sale. I was there just to check out the chair. Yes, it was comfortable, genuine buttery leather, priced well and was exactly what I wanted. I told Karen that I'd be back the next day with my husband. We returned on Sunday and worked with Ryan who also was patient and low key. He closed the sale. We both appreciated that he did not try to upsell a higher priced chair or other items. We actually asked for a protection plan. Delivery was set and confirmed with an automated phone call. The drivers called as they were on the way. The chair is perfect ... even our our fur son approves! The entire experience was easy. If you're looking to feather your nest, or freshen up tired decor, be sure to check out J&K.
