(See pic) So I thought it would be the perfect place for a cake for my in-laws 60th anniversary party. I took in a photo and the bakers made a GORGEOUS cake that looked like lace! Everyone at the party had a piece and it was so tasty, there were hardly any left overs. Then for a real test - I stopped in on Saturday morning and asked for a "Game of Thrones" themed birthday cake. Poor Kelley! But she came through and my friends loved the cake!! (My fault the dragon nest wasn't big enough, I drew the egg candles too small.) I love that you can order a cake on Saturday and it's ready on Sunday where you couldn't do that with a lot of bakeries. Plus their cakes are affordable. So worth it!

House made there and they are out of this world. More texture and taste than store bought. Loved them. I liked the big assortment of refried beans in cans or packages. We tried the El Salvadorian red beans and I really enjoyed them. Good change of pace. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I bought a bean and cheese burrito on the way out in the food service area. It's always well stocked and the prices are affordable. They might not carry a lot of items as most grocery stores does, but they have great inventory of the ones they carry. Checking out, though you might have long lines some days, they're always on top of it. They open new checkout lanes if they see that lines are getting longer. Shoppers also need to follow rules coz even though there were signs that no pets were allowed, People still bring them in and sometimes put them inside the carts. The have an extremely wide food variety with dedicated aisles for Asian and Hispanic flavors. Any obscure or non-big-name-brand that you may not find anywhere else can be found here. There is a large seafood counter and deli (which have both been recently updated). They sell a huge variety of bulk items too! They have everything from nuts to candy to dog food, herbs, pasta, bird seed, and more. There is a bakery that offers some nice fresh items like pastries, rolls, cakes, and bagels. They also do custom cake orders! There's also a hot food section where they sell freshly made fried chicken, flavored wings, tenders, and sides for a super affordable price! WinCo offers a ton of ready to eat meals. Just pop them in the microwave for a quick and large bite. The staff members are very friendly. They build a lovely relationship with the regulars which is great to see. They never show any sense of attitude, even when it gets very busy (which is often). Sometimes the lines can get super long (particularly towards the beginning of the month and in the afternoons). Most of the time, they have plenty of check-out lanes open so the wait isn't too bad. Everything is relatively well-organized. The store is huge but it doesn't feel like a maze trying to find the items you need. The aisles are wide but get congested at times. Since they're open 24/7, it's not too hard to beat the crowds though. If you decide to shop here (which I definitely recommend), note that they don't accept credit cards!
