A short time later the owner called and offered to make it right, which we appreciated. I attempted to update my original review to reflect that resolution, but found that I had been blocked from the store's Facebook page and could no longer access my review. Posting this simply so other customers are aware to double-check pricing, even when items are stocked under a single sale sign.

I decided to take a look at the beta fish because why not and noticed they are in pretty bad condition. There's algae growing inside the cups, that doesn't happen over night, and a lot of feces. Not only that, but the betas look EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY. There is one fish that's upside down, not dead, and cannot stay under the waterline. I'm assuming it's some sort of bloating. Why are you guys selling betas if you're not caring for them properly? I did notify one of the employees and he looked at me like "what am I supposed to do about it?"

They're usually hyper enough to make me nervous, but I guess that's a good problem to have. The guy looked baffled and indicated there was a guy back there that showed him it was full on the screen, as well as the door had been opened by the guy using the bottle return. Then she stopped checking people out and made incendiary comments about the man that just informed her it was full. Not professional or relational, just plain mean and nasty!
