I love going to Barnes & Nobles because I can never resist a bookstore. They also have the mall classics like Finishline, Buckle, Bath and Body Works, and of course Claire's. I do prefer going to small local places, so malls were never my favorite place. But to see entire malls go downhill is still saddening. I do hope to see buildings like this to be occupied by small local businesses so that malls can be filled and we can support local people at the same time. I'm not sure I'll be back until more stores come in, but I might be tempted by Auntie Anne's.

The employee unfortunately guided us to only two of the 3 places pokemon cards are, so we almost thought we got there too late. This is a Supercenter, which means that in addition to the usual clothing, housewares and soft lines, there is also a full grocery department that includes frozen, butcher and dairy. For example: We bought some Helados frozen fruit bars once in Kalamazoo. We got them home - and we travel with an insulated cooler in our cars to keep the cold things we buy cold - and when we opened the package up we discovered they were no longer in the traditional fruit bar shapes. We figured the packages had sat in the store's aisle awaiting to be shelved in the freezers, had started to melt, and then was shelved and the contents refroze. We took the bars back to the Kalamazoo store and the staff was cool about the return. And then two months later it happened AGAIN.
