Unlike other Costco stores I have been to, here you handed over your food receipt at the food court counter instead of waiting for them to call your number. Not a big deal, but I figured I'd mention it. One thing that really stood out was that the bathroom stalls had strips to block anyone from seeing into a stall, which is always embarrassing and awkward so I'm impressed and grateful these privacy strips exist.

PFC had been spreading false information claiming the market would be a mess and EBT tokens would not be available. THE ACTUAL IS THAT YOU CAN NOW TAKE OUT $50 in double up!!! The PFC is refusing to hand over any of the social media accounts. Too many cities and towns across the nation have suffered loss of their central grocers, with none to replace them *nearby*. (A WalMart on the far outskirts of town does not count.) Bravo and kudos to these folks. The store is spiffy clean. It's well-stocked and organized. Also, special displays don't block aisles (and customers) to shout "Look at me! Buy me!" as now happens in too many grocery stores. Hate all that clutter: Makes it harder for people to get past one another in aisles. Stores that do that are using grocer- (instead of customer-) centered marketing. Most workers efficient and helpful, though there can be a little longer wait at the service desk than at other grocers. That's partly because more customers need the special services offered there (e.g. check cashing). All groceries I bought there have been fine, although I have avoided the fresh meat because other people have said to avoid it. But pre-packaged processed meat there (like hot dogs, bacon) have always been fine. Dairy too.

Basically what…read morethe store owner does is purchase pallets of returns from large stores like target, Walmart, and Amazon. They then place all of the returns, which can very in condition, in bins and price everything the same price. The prices change each day of the week (they go lower as the week goes on) and at the end of the week they clear the bins and start again. Bin and Pallet co in Augusta started off very strong but has since gone down hill a bit. The owners are very very nice and do a great job of posting on social media updates for the business. However, they stopped putting larger ticket items in the bins but have not changed the pricing structure accordingly. In addition they have out grown the space they are currently in. Right now, it is so crowded on Saturdays that you can barely move inside the store, let alone search through the items. They also do not have a system in place to keep people from hoarding items to search through in large groups, which defeats the purpose of the fairness of the store. If you want to give it a try the best day to go is Saturday. But get there early! If you are not towards the front of the line on Saturday you will miss out on the best items of the week. UPDATE I want to thank the owner Jeff for reaching out to me to address some of the things I had concerns about in my initial review. They did not stop putting large ticket items out. Here is a great response from the owner to this issue - We've purchased 5 truckloads in the last two weeks. We keep some at the warehouse, and bring the majority of it into the store (whatever we can fit). I think if you saw a decline in value, it was likely a symptom of the influx in people we've had in on Saturday mornings. We have definitely not stopped putting big ticket items out. This makes complete sense. They have been super busy!! Another reason to get there early. Jeff also assured me that they are working on new ways of controlling the crowd and the flow of people in the store. Bin and Palette are really trying to do everything they can to make this store work well for everyone. They deserve a visit if you are able not only because the bargains are amazing, but the ownership is as well.
