I stopped in while in the area. Someone recently shared the Wild Fable clothing line and I wanted to see it in person. This target was well stocked with a variety of colors and sizes. This review is ONLY for the CVS pharmacy inside the store. The rest of the store is great, and the workers nice and helpful. Terrible phone set up. You cannot reach a real person. Instead you will be left to navigate a byzantine phone tree menu system, especially if your question is not on the menu. Avoid this pharmacy unless you enjoy tearing out your hair. read more

Stopped in here today to look at a Popsocket for my cell phone, they started at $29.99 and up. However, I can get one for $10 elsewhere. I felt that many of the items were quite overpriced. I did appreciate that they stocked Barney & Son's tea. read more

Since our local Target went out of business my husband likes to go stop at any Target we pass. He likes that they price match which means he gets MTG cards at the best price possible. He finds a cool pokemon great ball with cards for $50 but they price matched Best Buys price of $37. He was very happy with our purchase. The young lady who checked us out was sweet and struck up a little conversation with us. She asked if we had the target card which we said no and that our local target was no longer in business. She understood and said she hoped to see us soon. The cool bonus of this Target is they have a CVS pharmacy and a Starbucks inside. I personally didnt get to benefit because I'm not local enough for a pharmacy here and I'm not a big coffee person. Overall it was an average Target experience. People were polite and we got what we wanted fairly quickly. read more

I love this Target location. I actually worked here as a Target Tech employee via Marketsource, and this store was the friendliest and most easy to work with. Management always greeted me with a smile, despite the rocky relation that previous Marketsource employees have had. Even though I no longer work for Marketsource, I still shop this location, even though I live closer to Portage. Even with the new faces I see they still greet me with a smile and are always willing to help customers. This is my go to Target store. read more

Normally this is not an issued but waiting in a 7 person line for over 38 minutes is ridiculous. Of course my line was by way far the slowest. The only reason I am even writing this review is because to my surprise the cashier Erin the "Trainer" was horribly slooooow and I truly hope she is NOT training other cashiers. read more

Bathrooms r gross and the store in general is a hot mess, clothes on the floor, not a lot of employees and they seem scatteted

When lots of people think of big-box stores around here, usually the first two places that come to mind are Wal-Mart and Meijer, with the newly-arrived CostCo in third. But when faced with a suddenly free evening, we found ourselves simply cruising Kalamazoo and in need of yet more presents for my niece- so we stopped into the Target and proceeded to find more gifts to add to the mountain she'll find under the tree. For starters, the store is very clean- the aisles aren't blocked, they're pretty wide, and everything is nicely stocked and organized. We were able to find yet more Peppa Pig things to spoil my niece with- and a few more gifts besides! There are a lot of things here that I've never been able to find elsewhere- especially because this is the only place in Kalamazoo/Portage that I've been able to find two-pound bags of 49-flavor Jelly Belly jelly beans. Seriously, take a bit of time and look at the shelves, you never know what else you'll find. The parking lot is very big and clean, and has plenty of spaces for easy parking (it's part of a strip mall). This Target is even one I would recommend to anybody at or starting at Western Michigan University- mostly because there's a city bus that goes from Western, to the strip mall, and then back again, every half hour for as long as it runs. It beats having to go an hour each way out to Crossroads or the Westnedge Meijer if you just need a couple of things. The downside of this place? Well... compared to other stores, some of their prices are kind of steep- I don't mind dropping ten bucks for two pounds of Jelly Bellys (because this is the only place I've ever found them in the bags), but other things are actually more expensive here than at places like Wal-Mart or Meijer. This might be because they have more overhead than others or for the fact they have a direct line of students from Western, but just keep in mind that you're paying for the convenience. They could honestly also use some better cart management- we were going to use one of the bigger carts with the child seats in it to push my niece around, but the only one of them we could find was left in the automatic doorway, covered in rainwater. A number of the testing displays were also kind of banged up- most notably some of the ones in the electronics department- I was trying to demo a couple of games I was thinking of picking up with Christmas money, and I wanted to make sure they were what I thought they were- but the WiiU display appears to have been demoed into damage as the tablet portion seems to have a few screws loose and sometimes won't register pushes and entries. If some of these things were worked on, this would be an easy four- but for now, it's a solid three. read more

This is the BEST Target I've ever been to (and trust me, I've been to quite a few). They have a great selection of merchandise, friendly staff and amazing clearance. It's not unusual that I find the same items I plan to purchase for 50%+ off on clearance! Since the stock moves so fast, I hardly ever buy anything at regular price. Example: There was a dining table that I wanted for $199.99. The table was perfect for my new apartment so I waited. A few weeks later, I found my table marked down to $49.99 (75% off!) and of course, I purchased it. Check the outer perimeter of the store for the best deals and buy something for me - the Targets in Chicago suck. read more

What's happened? This used to be one of my "go to" stores, but no longer! The bathroom is dirty, the racks are so overstocked that clothing has fallen to the floor, aisles are filled with boxes waiting to be unloaded, and shelves everywhere have misplaced items. What can I say about Target as it is a well-known chain? I was a fan when I lived in Indiana and was happy to have two Targets nearby (Kalamazoo and Portage) when I moved to Kalamazoo. Out of the two, though, I prefer the Kalamazoo Target. I've had better luck finding things that I've wanted in stock there, but it's also nice to have another Target nearby just in case. read more

After shopping target for many years...offended and treated badly! Called store to see if pkg was left behind(battleship game) was told it was not found on a lane and then was offered a replacement! Very generous...not! Upon re calling the store was assured that it was in stock and that they would replace the item if we brought the receipt in! Nice gesture...no! Upon driving across town my husband was told they had checked the security tapes and we did have all of our packages! And they would not replace. $12.99 toy! This would have been the first thing they should have done...certainly not after repeat calls! Upon calling the store manager she explained the policy was to review the tapes ,,,,not jack a FORMER LOYAL customer around. At no point did we ask for a replacement! Target offered and then insulted my husband I hope that you will JOIN ME IN BOYCOTTING TARGET. read more
