You often encounter this type of individual in smaller cities. Circumstances forced this young lord to bag groceries to support his ma and pa but he clawed his way to the top of the pocket supermarket business and now he finds it hard to be polite to the common types who come in the store. Understandably. Except for him, the staff is very cool and the store is good . Just watch the sky-high prices and the expiration dates

I spend AT LEAST $200 a week at Aldi and then another $100-$150 a week at Meijer for groceries,…read morecleaning products, & toiletries. I will NEVER shop at Aldi again. First of all, all of our groceries wreaked like cigarette smoke (which is against their driver policies). Then our eggs were all broken and the raw sausage links I bought were opened. That's enough to piss me right off. Aldi was not willing to refund back the tip that they automatically charge to your order, when you order delivery from them. Stacey G. got a huge tip from me and was paid by Instacart, and Aldi refused to do anything about it. The real kicker is what was stolen from us. Yes, items I paid for for dinners this week and Super Bowl snacks were stolen. All items that didn't make it into my bags, yet I paid for them. 12oz Shredded Pepperjack 12oz. Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 12oz. Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 12oz. Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 32oz Velveeta Cheese Block 5oz Shredded Parmesan Tub 10.8oz Chopped Caesar Salad Kit 10.8oz Chopped Caesar Salad Kit 5oz Croutons I paid for all of these items and never received them. And I don't care that Aldi contracts Instacart for their deliveries. If that's the case, they still need to stand by their customers. I will NEVER shop at Aldi again.

I am so excited for this new aldi!…read more Here's why I love it: The store is clean and bright The aisles are SUPER wide. You can probably fit 3 carts side by side. This means (for the most part) being able to shop without waiting for someone to take forever to choose something The staff is friendly and quick The produce section is bigger than our other aldis here in town. Since this is where I spend most of our grocery money, I'm all in. There is self checkout and staff checkout. One handicap cart. Plenty of push carts. Happy to have a closer aldi to us! It is so big and spacious. I'm happy!

Costco is often a great experience…read more Parking was surprisingly easy, staff were unsurprisingly friendly, and food court wait time was minimal. Unlike other Costco stores I have been to, here you handed over your food receipt at the food court counter instead of waiting for them to call your number. Not a big deal, but I figured I'd mention it. One thing that really stood out was that the bathroom stalls had strips to block anyone from seeing into a stall, which is always embarrassing and awkward so I'm impressed and grateful these privacy strips exist.

Serious food safety issue--selling melted food which supposed to be stored at frozen temperature…read more I purchased two boxes of Kaiser Chicken Puff Pastries from the freezer section here yesterday (July 2nd), and it was a massive disappointment and a major health hazard. When I opened the boxes immediately after getting home, the pastries inside the sealed plastic liners were completely melted, ruined, and clumped together into raw dough lumps. Because this is a raw chicken product that requires an absolute cold chain, selling it completely thawed out of a display freezer is incredibly dangerous and poses a severe food poisoning risk. The store staff never mentioned a freezer breakdown or a cooling failure when I checked out. It seems like they are knowingly or carelessly keeping temperature-abused, compromised inventory on the shelves.
