Meijers is a good grocery store if you're looking for good fresh food however a lot of their items are higher up in price, their homeware is nice and they have a lot more name brand clothing than something like Walmart however it'd be nice to be able to afford to shop there read more

Dear Meijer, just an FYI not sure why you put on security tags when your employees don't take it off. Then when I come back then it goes off. Good thing I had my receipt right!! Then, I was just given a...sorry.....Also, when putting the security tags on close. I was always taught to put it through the seams. You are ruining the items!! We shop here every week for close to 20 years but lately we have to go to other stores to buy what we need. Not sure who is doing the ordering for the store but management needs to train them sufficiently. Wanted only a few things today but over half of them were completely depleted. Been struggling getting our dog food for months as at least every other week you are out of our brand. We don't want to stop shopping there but we are quickly approaching that point. read more

Super huge grocery store that is pretty much a Walmart Supercenter, just nicer. A large section of fresh foods, produce, frozen, deli, meats, fish and then you see electronics and clothing and sporting goods. It was unexpected. Prices were decent and the variety was very good. Absolutely every time I use self check out there's a pricing error. Every time. When I made the management aware I was told "well that happens sometimes". And then I was asked "do you have a picture?" As if it is MY job to manage their store. One staffer even suggested "there are other places to shop in Battle Creek". - I replied "and more and more I choose those options". Then when reporting an incident, the store manager said "tell me who" and when I refused to name names, I was told "well I can't do anything about it and it will continue if you don't tell me who"-- as if managing the employees is on me!! This passive aggressive attitude is simplistic and outdated. FIX. The. Store. And employees won't have to deal with frustrated customers !! Never going back. Ever. Hello fellow humans. First off this is specifically about the bottle return area of west Columbia meijers. What is happening here? Why does it look like a set from an apocalypse movie? Trash everywhere, and people bring their children and let them climb inside the scummy area and carts? To be fair entry level workers getting the minimum wage will do the minimum effort but come on people! Just bring gloves and ear buds and try not to look around too much. It's really shamefull to have SO MUCH TRASH! garbage bins are full, paper and plastic gusted around like a ghost town. They're no way to not see it needs some maintenance. For the record, I had went two days in a row, about the same time frame so maybe I'm being too harsh, but damn everywhere you look in every parking space there's plastic spoons empty cans bags bottle caps and whatever else you can think of. Sorry but this bottle return is like standing in a cesspool of filth. Oh and there was dog food spilled everywhere and complaining employees about how hard their job is so. read more

I was only here briefly, but the employees made it easy to find what I needed. That's always a bonus, especially when you're traveling out of town and don't have extra time. Walking in, this reminded me of a Walmart but a little nicer. I suppose what I mean is that it's a one stop shop. There's even a generously stocked section for getting cards-- I browsed through probably 20 different wedding cards, alone. This place is *hopping* on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, but maybe it's less overwhelming other weekends. Either way, there are enough self checkout counters that you can zip through if you only have a few items, like I did. Easy in, easy out (except parking was a little hectic... But I'll attribute it to the season and the snow storm). I was happy overall. read more

Not sure why this place has a sign up on all of the doors saying masks are required. Seems as if over 50% of the customers were allowed to stay in the store and shop without masks. Apparently the management values profit over lives? No wonder Michigan is one of the leaders with Covid 19. The selection of clothing was terrible, the layout makes no sense. Never going back. This meijer has a fire liquor selection many of which are at state minimum. Even though your store is set up like shit your Canadian wine tasting lady gave me hella free samples. If you are a college student or an alcoholic in general. I highly reccomend meijers on Columbia read more

Meijer overall is OK but DO NOT BUY their string squash. It doesn't cook up per their directions and taste is questionable. They'd have done better to just package it as squash as a whole. read more

I went up to the consultation line at the Pharmacy to ask a few questions regarding a medication, and during the 10 minutes I waited not one person even acknowledged me. If they were busy, I could understand that it could take a few minutes (their was no one in line) and it would have been nice to at least be acknowledge, and to let me know that someone would be right with me, but NO! They continued to just look at me and I decided to leave and take my prescription elsewhere. read more

This is such a great store. Always full of great deals and fresh produce. There is always ample parking available and the staff is very friendly. I do wish that the Redbox was closer to the doors, but other than that, this store is great. read more

People are friendly and always help you find things. I was caught in the store once during a tornado warning and they made sure their customers were safe. The prices on average are good and the meat is good. read more
