Half this mall is dead, which is a little sad, but the stores they do have are pretty decent. Auntie Anne's never fails to make my tummy happy. I love going to Barnes & Nobles because I can never resist a bookstore. They also have the mall classics like Finishline, Buckle, Bath and Body Works, and of course Claire's. I do prefer going to small local places, so malls were never my favorite place. But to see entire malls go downhill is still saddening. I do hope to see buildings like this to be occupied by small local businesses so that malls can be filled and we can support local people at the same time. I'm not sure I'll be back until more stores come in, but I might be tempted by Auntie Anne's. read more

Only 19 businesses left in the mall and I'm surprised that there's only a few good places that are still doing good like Horrroks and Battleground Skate House. When I did my research, this mall used to have over 90 businesses before online shopping reign supreme for shoppers who want the stuff they're looking for. The real downhill started when JCPenney, Sears, and other good stores starting to close their doors when online shopping is new to the people of Battle Creek since the internet is going to be replacing public communication. When I went in the mall, I only cared about the skate park and Barnes And Noble and that's it, I never feel like coming back. Most of the employees feel like they never got human contact while being stuck in the past from the outside world and even the modern-day internet world we lived in now. Horrocks, Battleground Skate House, and other stores will soon leave to find better available leases in the mall and it will result to being a place with ZERO businesses and becomes the next Orchards Mall. I say that the best bet is to demolish the mall now to make room for a mixed use development project. Seriously folks, just go online shopping as a second option, it's better than going through malls that are dead, depressing, and isolated to the rest of Battle Creek and the world. For every employee and business owner who wants to see human contact, please relocate your business to new areas of Battle Creek and let the mall disappear so we'll move on in the future. read more

Yep, there isn't too much left in this mall (Sears closed) but it's the only mall for miles and miles. It's in great physical condition inside and out, there's plenty of parking and it has relatively easy access to the Interstate from here. That makes it A-OK. Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Rue 21, Kay's Jewelers, Men's Wearhouse, and a movie theater. Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee's and Auntie Anne's. First off...I've been and will always be a fan of shopping malls...I'm 58 years old and grew up with them. I hate to see them struggle in these challenging times. I go to our own local mall and support them. But this poor mall here is just done.. ready to close up. I estimate they are 70-80% vacant. The moment you enter it is morgue like. So sad. We took 8 min to tour the entirety of it and left. If you want your local malls to have any chance of making it...get to em and spend some money...or they'll just end up like this one! read more

I'm actually surprised that people give the small such a low rating. They always mentioned that several of the stores are closed and that is true. But the reviews don't tell you is how beautiful this mall is, and how the collection of stores inside actually do make it well worth the trip. One thing that makes it very unique, is the variety of activities available within the mall. In the winter time, it's a great place to walk around and stretch your legs, for young kids there's a skateboarding park inside, and of course there are theaters, massage stores and spas, and a lot of great stores to shop at. I encourage visitors to ignore the naysayers, and visit this beautiful place with very friendly store owners, and a great indoor shopping experience. My wife and I certainly enjoyed it and plan to return many times. read more

I must say that I have never had an issue with the cleanliness of the Mall. I know that there are more than a couple empty store fronts, but the store selection is nice. Having a Hot Topic is a great stop off. Most commonly I am drawn to the mall for Buffalo Wild Wings and Barns and Nobles. I am overjoyed that the theater got a revamp. It is becoming my favored theater to attend. Parking lot is a bit odd. If you enter from east end of the south side the right only is just annoying to say the least. I avidly follow the lines and use the designated paths but that makes me a minority as I have nearly been colloided into numerous times by people driving straight across to get back towards the restaurants. I hope to see many more stores fill the empty spots in the future. I do not know if Fun Time Arcade is operated by the Mall, if it is could I please request that the punching bag machine/game not have other machines close to it. My follow through on my punch ended up landing squarely on the machine pushed right up next to it. I am mildly happy I hit the metal as I would have shattered the glass, which would have been worse for the machine but I would not have potentially broke my hand had I hit glass rather than steel... Again I am happy that the mall survived the recession and I hope to see it thrive once again. read more

You were saved from one star due to Barnes and Noble. Half of the store is vacant space and the rest is overpriced junk (excluding B&N of course) or mediocre food. Is this place going through foreclosure of something? Also as mentioned from my other review stay away from Dunham's. Feel free to check out my review for references on why. Where are all the damn stores? Its seems like every time you come back, another store is gone. I'm not sure if its a money issue or them thinking this is a good idea. There are many overpriced stores and there are only a selected few that would keep you coming back. In order to make this a better shopping area, blend in the stores to match the majorities price range. Stop taking out the good stores too This is ridiculous. Barnes n Noble & Rue21 is where its at. Went here to buy a golf glove and it was obvious to me that the people working the counter weren't interested in helping me. Told me signs over the merchandise many times were not accurate. I left without buying anything. Sorry to say Dunham's probably won't be here much longer either. read more

Dying a slow death. Most stores have closed including Macys. The theatre is the only thing saving it.
