The steak was good and was pretty standard (similar to burrito express, Hermandos, and Carlos River) but the chicken was a little dry and lacked flavor. Carlos River pulled chicken is still my favorite because it is so juicy and full of flavor. My wife got the loaded "super" nachos with beef. Those were very good with their fresh guacamole. Rice is good - I think they use a chicken broth or something cause it definitely had a chicken taste to it. Not bad though at all. Where this place shines though is the really friendly staff. The cooks were happy and the cashier was super nice and helpful teaching me the right Spanish words for things. We had a few good laughs. Great ordering experience over all. Lastly, the little grocery market is stocked FULL of authentic Mexican ingredients with some fresh produce and a refrigerator wall of cold drinks. They also have common items like laundry detergent, toothpaste, piñatas... Haha. An entire ceiling of Piñatas. Nice place, nice people and simple authentic Mexican food and grocery. Another incident was I had bought dog food from this location and usually don't have an issue, but this time there was. The Freshpet Home Cooked Chicken recipe made my dogs incredibly sick. Vomiting and diarrhea for days. When I went to return the item and explain what happened, they down right refused my return. I understand that stores can set their own policies and whatnot, but this was an item that had gotten family members incredibly sick. Disappointing and very frustrating of Woodman's. Last time that I will ever be shopping here again. Taking my business elsewhere where returns that make people sick can be taken care of.

There were some aisles with ethnic finds such as Greek, Italian, Polish but skip the deli and looked more like a hangout for locals at Angelo's - prepared foods. Next to that area appear to be what once was fish and seafood now filled in with random sale items. It was depressing and disappointing. It looked more like a store that was getting ready to permanently close.

We ordered an Italian sandwich and Philly cheesesteak (tuesdays only), with fries and drinks. This was the best Italian sub sandwich I've had in the area. The meats were generous and it tasted so fresh. The cheesesteak was also fresh and delicious, the taste of the steak being a huge standout. Both sandwiches had amazing bread, and the fries were delicious. The price was a little steep at almost $50 for two sandwiches, one bag of chips, one soda, and an order of fries. But for me, the quality was worth the price for a once in a while treat. Our only complaint was the ketchup came in packets, and they either were old or not under proper temp control.
