It's right next to Tostada Regia, and is aimed at the Hispanic Community. Lots of cheap stuff and plenty of discounts to be had. In some ways it's better than a dollar general or Family Dollar, in other ways, it's not. You'll see for yourself when you come in, but they have a lot of stuff which other stores don't have and it's well worth your time. We always come here when we go to the restaurant next door which is one of the best Mexican restaurants and Monterey style restaurants in the whole world - so make sure you read my review of that place before you eat there so you know what to get.

Just a random closure out of nowhere for no apparent reason. I think it's happened in the past as well because I seem to remember it happening when we tried to come here years ago.

I arrived around 3 pm. They were busy unloading and setting up the shop. There were few customers. Employees greeted everyone as we came in. Prices are still handwritten on the crates. I saw $1, $2, $3, $4, $5... But I saw nice stuff in the crates. Oh, they take cash and credit cards. I wasn't planning to stay long because I could overspend for trinkets. Some items can become customized gifts for businesses. I'll be back when we can safely meet in person. They have a large selection of toddler, teen, young adult, How To books, craft books and history books. Almost all of the books I bought were $2.99/$3.99. Regular price was $19.99 and $14.99! This location was more tidy than the College Station location and also had a better selection of toys/games. The cashier was very friendly and polite.

There are some basic items that they carry all year and then specialty things that come and go. Some of the sections: gardening, toys, makeup and hair, electronics, storage, kitchenware, pets, snacks, camping, etc. You can grab some necessities as well as whimsical things. The staff are very friendly. Def one of my fave spots.
