There's always a wide variety of clothing and all is in good shape. I have found a good number of pieces I like at this store, from a whimsical Halloween sweater to staple dresses. Thrifty Shopper is one of the few thrift shops where they actually organize their books too. Being able to spot cookbooks vs fiction vs children's books at a glance is really great. It encourages me to genuinely sit and browse them to see if they have books I am seeking. Also at this time, if anyone wants Rachel Ray cookbooks there is half a shelf worth of them for grabs right now. I will say, if you like it grab it. That's where Walt's really shines -- long after the posted hours, they open the space to all sorts of local hobby groups. I've been there with a rocket club in the back room, RC cars going on the track, and yet another group up front, meeting in the actual hobby shop part. The staff is super-friendly, and willing to help out and offer suggestions for whatever kind of project you want to take on. If you need hobby stuff, this is a great place to go in the Syracuse area.

He told me that I would receive an automated call giving me a 5 hour window for delivery. That came yesterday. This morning at 8am I received a call from the driver telling me he was 20 minutes away. I did not expect the driver, whom I am sure works out of a Buffalo warehouse, to do more than just drop the mattress off. Usually the case in online orders. Nope. He and his helper took both to the former dog's room and set everything up. Took all packaging with them. I was thrilled! They have my preferred needles- the super speedy stainless steel ChiaoGoo circulars, in just about every imaginable size and cable length. They carry lots of quality yarn, host trunk shows for artisans, and have local made products for sale- such as the bright pink skull stitch marker I picked up when I was last there. The shop itself is beautiful- bright with natural light, spacious, modern, and comfortable. The work they have on display makes me want to become a better knitter. I hope to take one of their numerous classes in the future. Knitty Gritty is very responsive on social media and their website is as great as their physical space is.
