Again, great selection as far as for a Dollar Tree but some of the items are cheaper at the actual grocery store- just have to price compare... overall, I like some of the things you can find here. I get my bananas, celery, carrots, chayote, onions and cabbage at about 20-40% off than at other mega grocery stores. I am not too crazy about their meats, I have bought them before and the quality of them is not as good as Shaw's or even Walmart. So I don't buy meat here...except if it's prepackaged like in a Cryovac....so it is actually coming from a meat processor like Hormel or Tyson. Their generic chicken and beef have not been good for my recipes. Large parking lot.

I have tried many private label chips and most of them do not compare to the national name brands like the Frito Lay brands. I love Doritos, Cheetos and the Lightly salted Wavy Potato Chip Lay's. Knowing your unit price is key when buying chips and snacks...many times you see bags of 8oz for $4-5 each...which makes the pound of snacks to be valued over $8-10 a pound...more than some cuts of steak or salmon.... When I got home and took them out of the packaging they had brown spots and two had brown spots inside as well. If these lemons had been significantly better than regular lemons perhaps the price difference would be justified, but for them to be mildly worse and more than twice the price struck me as bizarre! I also bought a frozen meal that was already expired... I was able to return these two items and the customer service was good, but I couldn't believe how high my bill was for only getting 5-6 things.

This is convenient for people of Bristol to have an option besides Stop & Shop and without having to travel to Fall River/Swansea/Target to a big box or other grocery store. Their parking lot is easy to access with lots of space. This store is very clean and feels high end - I would consider this more of a luxury market, almost as if you had a combo of Whole Foods and Highland Park Market (a small local chain in Connecticut). There were a nice amount of unique local offerings I hadn't even heard of before - salt water taffy, chocolates, bulk frozen soups from Blount, etc. There are fresh options like a sushi bar and a small coffee area in the front. The big selling point of this store are those unique offerings, and the best bang for your buck are things they make fresh, breads, desserts, etc. I LOVE their fresh popped flavored popcorn and always have to grab some - just do it!!! Other than those standout features, I can't see myself shopping here regularly if not for those specific items, unless I really didn't want to travel far. It's a smaller store with less selection. Pricing is well above other similar stores - the mark up on a pantry item I picked up was double the price of the exact same thing at Target. Even their "sale" prices don't seem that good of a deal in most cases. They advertise a senior discount on Wednesdays. Self check out and cashiers are set up, but only self check out was open at 8 pm. There's a nice upscale feel here, although staff wasn't helpful in the evening hours when I went, which you would expect more of from this type of experience based store. For basics and pantry staples, you'll find a better deal elsewhere....but honestly, it's still worth a trip just for the popcorn.

Joke's on you- they do not work. It's just patron after patron stuck trying to figure out this unnecessarily complicated interface while the person behind the counter who normally would just verbally take your order and hand you your meds, stands there helplessly 2 feet away trying to help you through this new nightmare experience you are both in. I can only assume the head of CVS's IT department is in some elaborate fight to sabotage the head of Pharmacy and the rest of us are just collateral damage. For a company closing a ton of stores to "optimize their retail footprint", this is not the answer. I have thus far tried twice to pick up my prescription and been thwarted both times by a short line that does not move because no one can figure out this dumb kiosk. And I don't think the pharmacists can bypass it? Whose idea was this?! Did no one test this thing before unleashing it on the masses? Feels like something designed by someone who has never been to a pharmacy before. Unfortunate. I now need to find a pharmacy without this horrible feature. Wish me luck...

However an employee Did not price them correctly, they were actually $20. I was upset that I paid so much for them. I went to return them in dayville and the store manager told me she would not refund me because the jeans weren't that much. I was very angry, I had paid $70 for these jeans, had my receipt and just wanted a refund. Deb was very rude and did not care that I was upset. Taking this matter to hire up management. This is not how a customer should be treated

This is my "neighborhood" WF, I am in there at least 7 times a week and sometimes more. The store…read moreis limited and has been known to be crowded in the past (the new store in Ma. has reduced that). Being a smaller store the variety can be limited, but that is not why I am reviewing. It's about the staff. Last week I fell, not in the store or on their property, I got some pretty gnarly abrasions and a bit of a cut and needed to ice my knee down quickly. WF has ice in the front, so I went there and grabbed a small hot bar (yum yum!), I sat at the tables outside, which are a great place to eat the ready made hot foods, in particular the chicken in sweet chili sauce. I digress, within a few minutes a sweet young man stopped and asked if I was okay, I told him what happened and assured him I didn't fall at WF. He went back to work, a few minutes later another staff came out with a roll of paper towels and asked if she could do anything for me, I thanked her and said I was fine. Not more than a few minutes later another employee came out to check on me. Yes some foods are expensive, yes, it can be busy there but the bottom line, this is neighborhood, this is community and this is the human experience. Thumbs up Whole Foods Waterman!
