The effort of employees is impressive-- its on par, and occasionally exceeds that of those upper tier supermarkets. An associate walked me from one end of the store to the opposite to streamline my quest for Dukes mayonnaise. The canned, boxed and bagged goods have a full array of options from the super low end, a hair above Dollar General to a hair below the top tier grocers. The area I feel needs attention is the deli and meat departments. As a major area of American consumption, I found myself with fingers pressed toy lips bewildered as to the low grade of chicken, pork and beef. I remailed bewildered.

First, we headed to the cold cut section and got Honey Ham, Honey Turkey, and Provolone. Only thing was, at the time we were there, there was a line waiting for cold cuts. So instead, my dad looked around while I waited in line. We got chocolate chip cookies, and italian assorted cookies, as well as bread rolls. When we got there, we were greeted by the pleasant short woman at the deli counter, and she got our cold cuts for us. We then headed over to catering and picked up our 2 cakes that were paid for separately and ordered online. They both turned out amazing and highly recommend both the butter cake and chocolate cake! Person at catering pickup was pleasant, and made sure we were taken care of. We then paid via credit card for our cold cuts, bread, and cookies at the self checkout. spent 39.45 this visit. Ignoring it I totally get it everyone gets frustrated and needs to vent .. but then I get to the register and I have never had such awful customer service .. everyone has bad days I understand that but I worked in retail for years and we always was trained in customer service that you leave your attitude outside the doors come in with a smile and make the customer feel like they are your number person at that time .. wellll not my experience... cashier was extremely rude, the BAGGER OMG .. we spoke to him and he not one time looked up smiled acknowledged us ., I understand some people are not social I have a grandson that is on the spectrum and not at all social but he will acknowledge you by a quick smile .. working in a public setting you need to be more mindful of others.. and even if you don't like your job you might want to fake a smile and act like you do .. remember guys we are spending money in your stores to keep you employed to pay those bills .. It is not a Super Center, but it does have a nice selection of quality meats, fish and poultry. If you want a special cut, the butchers are happy to help. Their produce department. is sizable for a grocery store this size and offers some organic produce. There is also a bakery that produces a decent amount of cakes, cookies and breads, for its small size. There is a beer bar in there, with select beers and bar stools. I don't drink so I have not imbibed. The star of this store is they have Boars Head cold cuts, as well as NY style potato salad. If you're from the north, you know how important these delicacies are to us. My husband also enjoys their Knishes and he's from Brooklyn. A large bar height table is there for those who prefer to eat in the store, but I hardly see anyone use it. Lowes Foods has a decent selection of dry goods, frozen, health and dairy products. If you're a senior over 60 years of age, on Wednesday they offer a .05% discount on your foods. I have visited several chains and they are very much the same. I've been to Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island. This is a very clean store, the employees are always friendly and helpful and I do appreciate supporting the locals.

The store is pretty cool with a bar where you can get a flight of beers , a coffee shop not a Starbucks , dry aged beef in the butcher shop , nice produce , and everything in between. The employees are very nice and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. They also have a gas station on the premises as well as other shops and restaurants in the shopping plaza. My only complaint is it's in Carolina Forest. After getting groceries and gas I went to the exit with stop light to make a left turn and I was in a huge line that wasn't moving. The traffic light would only cycle to the Yellow Turn Signal so only one car at a time was getting through. It was super busy with traffic. I changed lanes and made a right to go down to another light and turn around to make a left at that light which did do the Green Left Turn Signal. I made it the 3rd cycle. I heard about traffic here , but didn't know it was this bad. So I won't be returning here for this reason. Food Lion is only about a mile or 2 away from where I'm staying and unfortunately the ribs I came to get were not even that good ! Dang.

Entered, and grabbed a wagon, and also forgot that there is a hair salon in this location. We parked near the home and pharmacy section because that's what we needed basically the home stuff. Went to the toiletries section and brought crest scope 3 pack toothpaste, and also 2 packs of always sanitary napkins. Also found a eon shaving cream that works well for me, and helps with shaving and has no itch afterwards. We then headed to the card section, and I actually found a fathers day card for 1.00! They had quite some selections too, both regular and discounted. even found a retirement card, but then put it back after ringing it up and it was $5.00! Then we went to the back to the toiletries section, and got 1 lysol mango hibscous. The only thing is that they didn't have a combo pack for that one. We also brought some milk, yogurts and salads. Went to the self checkout when done. This self checkout does not have an item limit like the one on myrtle ridge. So both my mom and I paid for our items at the self checkout. Oh, and it's okay because it doesn't seem like they are missing anything, but when I scanned the sanitary napkins the package was open slightly. For my items I paid 45.64 and charged it to a credit card. Store was clean and organized. Would definitely be back!
