This hard to find gem is hidden in a tiny border town of SC off the main drag! I was passing…read morethrough and needed a break from driving and some food. This little shop is super unique and clearly the vision of a young lady that desires to serve the highest quality food from the farm to you!! From the repurposed building to the meal you receive, everything has a reason and a mission. I tried the BLATT sandwich and a piece of apple pie. Firstly, the bread was warm, crispy on the outside but not tougher than an old farm boot. Then the turkey was thinly sliced and heated to perfection! Avocado was ripe and fresh. The next two items were clearly off the farm, the lettuce and tomatoes. I've not experienced a greenery or slice of red ripe tomatoes on a sandwich or in any other capacity in a fine restaurant the beats these. Period. The closer, the Apple pie, was warmed and covered in homemade whipped cream. Not only were the apples soft and packed with flavor, the light flaky pie crust was a treat in and of itself. would recommend making the detour if in SC to visit this place. The 5-star rating is absolutely earned.

My husband enjoyed the cappuccino. The chai had too much nutmeg for my taste, but was good. It reminded me of pumpkin pie. If you're in the area, it's a nice place to grab a coffee/tea.

The turkey sandwich with brie and fig jam is beyond flavorful and also the portion is massive! The staff are so friendly and helpful and have allowed me samples when I was unsure of a tea options. Had been hearing from friends and family what a great breakfast spot Milk & Honey Coffee Cafe was,…read moreso I decided to stop in and try them out. They have some great breakfast options on their menu, unfortunately for me several of the items I was interested in were not available on the day I visited for breakfast. Since the menu is not extensive that left me with limited options for my meal. I did choose, and enjoyed the Classic Eggs and Toast, I substituted the toast for a biscuit. It was very good, especially the bacon, but not what my belly had intended for my meal. Rather the write a review complaining about the lack availability for several breakfast items on this day, I stopped by the counter on my way out and spoke to a team member. They explained that there was a recent change in ownership and they were working through adjusting the orders, etc. with the new ownership. They were polite, helpful and gracious about the whole thing and offered a coupon for breakfast on a return visit. First class customer service, cozy environment and great breakfast options and baked goods are a great reason to visit Milk & Honey Coffee Cafe.

It's a bit pricey, but you…read morecan tell they use high quality ingredients and whoever curated the menu put a lot of time into it. The avocado toast, the veggie breakfast burrito, the coffee cake, the smoothies, and the iced black amber are my go to's and they never miss. The service is quick, even though I know they get crazy busy during the summer. As someone who understands service/cafe biz, I will always give leniency to workers who are busting it during high volume seasons. The people who don't understand that a wait will be expected when you have one good coffee shop on an island that hosts thousands of people every summer are dense. Be kinder to your service workers, people. The most recent time I visited Drift, I was excited to try the Acai bowl. After I ordered, I was told that unfortunately they were out of Acai. They refunded my money and I ordered a smoothie instead. I was ready to pay for my smoothie when the employee told me the smoothie was on the house since they were out of Acai. Great customer service. I've been visiting Ocean Isle since there were rinky-dink water slides in operation across from what is now Drift. It's been wonderful to see a successful, quality coffee shop on the island.
