One of the highlights is paddleboat rental on the small lake that also has a couple of water fountain features. Plenty of parking and easy enough to access.

The checkout experience was great; the light-skinned girl who rang me up was extremely nice and had great customer service. However, my experience was overshadowed by an older woman employee who kept staring at me. Every aisle I went down, I noticed her looking at me, and it felt like I was being followed. I don't know if I was being racially profiled because of how I looked, but it made me extremely uncomfortable. I was wearing pajama pants, a t-shirt, a North Face jacket, and Crocs--nothing out of the ordinary. I've been experiencing homelessness and living in my car, and unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've been met with these kinds of stares. I've had a similar experience with an older white male security guard at the Mecklenburg County Library, so to have it happen here by someone who is also Black was disappointing. It's frustrating to feel judged simply for existing. I came in to shop just like anyone else, and being watched like that ruined what could have been a decent experience.

The lines were short and I was very surprised to see they have two self check-out stations. I used one of them and was out of there within seconds. The Dollar Tree where I live doesn't have this feature yet, so I was very impressed. I'll probably never be in this area of Charlotte again, but if I ever find myself here, I'd definitely revisit this Dollar Tree if I need something. Recommended!

The owners/operators are SUPER friendly, speak several languages and carry the goods to your car if necessary. It IS a WAREHOUSE... so it is dusty... dont come here thinking you are at HomeGoods... again, it is a WAREHOUSE... and cold (in the winter) and hot (in the summer) I am happy to see that everytime I come here to browse around there is a BIGGER and BIGGER crowd getting great discounts!
