We definitely recommend Unicorn One book store. We have been shopping here for years, and it is one…read moreof our favorite book stores anywhere. The store has a remarkable variety of books on all sorts of subjects. It's particularly refreshing that the selection includes older books as well as more current ones; when you find a good author you want to read everything they have written, not just the latest book! Also, the store carries hardcovers as well as paperbacks, which is a definite find, since they're scarcer in used shops and I've always preferred hardcovers - since they don't fall apart easily and the print is bigger. It's a great selection. The shelves are well organized by category and author, but there are also miscellaneous boxes to go through that have not been filed yet. A bonus treasure trove. Everything here is very reasonably priced, and you can bring in books to get discounted prices. I never leave empty handed. I always find something here that I need every time we visit. A great store also means a great owner. It is all part of the experience. She is friendly and helpful. She knows where everything is in the store and can suggest titles and authors that suit my reading preferences. She knows her customers well and her recommendations are always great. She is very nice, very intelligent, and very knowledgeable, not only about books and authors, but about a wide range of subjects. She is very well read. We can discuss books, film, television, the book industry, and anything under the sun. We come for the books and stay for the conversation. The owner is awesome, so her shop is a destination. One of the best used book stores we've been to, and that is saying something. We drive almost an hour to shop and visit, and are here every other month or so. Definitely worth checking out.

There were some books still in boxes, but there are so many books that she doesn't have enough room to display them all! We bought a lot of books and were both happy with our purchases. I recommend this store to anyone looking for used books.

As a mother, Aldi is truly a gift for our household! I never have to worry about budgeting here,…read moresince everything is a great price and the food is high quality, ensuring our family will have delicious, healthy meals on our table.

My mind is blown! I've been to Aldi in Redford and Ferndale but it's been a while. This one was…read morereally nice. For those who aren't in the know, the reason prices are so inexpensive here is because they lower their overhead as much as possible. What this means for you... If you plan on using a cart, bring a quarter (yes, I mean 25 cents) to unlock the cart. Don't worry you'll get it back unless you're too lazy to walk it back inside. This will make more sense when you see it in person. You'll also want to bring your own carrying utensil since they don't provide bags. They also won't bag your groceries but they will put them in the cart for you. You might wait in line for a short time but the cashiers are the fastest in the business. The line moves like crap through a goose! As far as their merchandise, what are you looking for? They have pretty much anything you'd need. Nuts, chips, meat, eggs, cheese, Red Bull (although theirs is called Red Summit and tastes EXACTLY the same). They have La Croix and some other name brands but shopping their brands will only save you money and it's all the same stuff as the name brand without the well known brand name. Their packaging is almost exactly the same too. In fact if you don't pay attention you'll think you're buying your normal brand name item. Also, their beer is fantastic! I've had their brand of Grolsch (I forget the name) and their Kinroo Belgian Ale (their Blue Moon Belgian). They were both equally as good as the name brand if not better and $7 for a six pack. I was impressed. They also carry Bell's and a pretty big selection of wine which I have yet to dabble in. Their produce is above par, they have an assortment of knick-knack items for the home and overall the savings was extraordinary. I left with a smile on my face from the whole experience and the extra cash still in my pocket.
